Let's start from the assumption that the location is not bad... but.... it is not possible to reach it by car, much less park nearby, you have to travel about 400/500 meters of the ancient village... cured meats ok.. cheeses ok, shame about the onion jam and honey which were in very small quantities! The not exactly free pizza, €22, is nothing special, on the contrary... the first one at €23/24 wasn't bad, but the flavor of the butter stood out too much and that of the truffle less so, lacking a note of freshness, which I highly recommend to the chef to revisit. For the rest reception ok.

24/03/2024: Five stars are few to describe this truly exceptional family-run restaurant, the food is uniquely good, one of the owners, who is also the restaurant manager, is very nice without his stopping for a joke at the tables compromising the service which is very fast and precise. Despite being a family restaurant, the decor is modern and minimalist. The place is very clean (including the bathroom). An honorable mention must be made for the home-made Padre Peppe served at the table in watering cans. If you want to have a taste of Murgia cuisine, hospitality and warmth, this place must be on your road map.

29/04/2024: We had dinner in this magnificent "wellness center" (as defined by the very nice owner), two days ago in 9 people in conjunction with the Federicus event in Altamura. We went here, directly from Taranto, following excellent reviews from friends and I confirm the latter for everything. We enjoyed some excellent appetizers and special tongs + a nice fried fish in the center to finish with the tasting of desserts that were a little better than the others! Menu absent, but kindly presented by the waitress. Very fast with the service, despite having many seats. Presence of tables both inside, very elegant and comfortable, and outside among the greenery. Presence of external parking, convenient as the restaurant is outside the walls of Altamura. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!!!

All the guys in the room are extremely helpful and super kind, Nicola is the best with customers and Filippo is a great grill master. Excellent service and very fast: Well done everyone! 03/04/2024: this place offers a menu full of special and tasty dishes that go far beyond pizzas, prepared in the typical Murgia tradition, but reinterpreted with a Pop twist by Michele the pizza maker. Gin in this pizzeria challenges one of the most beloved pairings at the table, pizza and beer. Unlike beer, it would indeed seem that Gin tends not to ferment especially when in combo with pizza. I savored some of the dishes on the menu while munching on his proposed gin, Aqua Luce, which I can confirm, made my stomach more prone to digestion. The secret of the more than 40 pizzas you can taste here lies in the temperature-controlled natural maturation technique that ensures a dough prepared in the traditional way, guaranteeing high digestibility without compromising taste. Reason why if you are looking for a highly digestible pizza that leaves you satisfied without weighing you down my suggestion is to try it as soon as you come to these parts. Stellar appetizer not to be missed Buffalo mozzarella wrapped in soft mortadella, breaded and gently fried in Panco along with egg and flour. All served on a bed of cream of zucchini, enriched with a chili bell pepper jam. The next course the "Palino," a pizza alla pala with sautéed vegetable cardoncelli with wild fennel, fior di latte, grana cheese coming out cooked pancetta and yellow datterino, fried Altamura bread crumbs, smelled of Murgia with a crispy aftertaste of the dough wonderfully flavored by the crumb. At plate number three, I reached my personal apotheosis of pleasure. "Fresh tuna cut into carpaccio, fried artichokes and homemade mayonnaise with Murgia herbs (marjoram thyme sage rosemary) served with strictly homemade bread made with cereal flour." The thick, full-bodied mayonnaise with its delicate taste and creaminess perfectly enveloped the tuna carpaccio, which was so fresh that it melted in your mouth and you wanted to eat it endlessly. The next course, with its bold, bold taste, transported me to the heart of Lucania. this pizza is a stroke of genius: stracciatella, the 'nduja, pezzente sausage and a crispy Crusco bell pepper breadcrumbs. It cannot be explained but tasted, especially if you have never in your life encountered the flavor of peperone Crusco or if you know it and are certain you can't live without it. Try it I recommend making a reservation, it is always full, from Tuesday start calling to secure your place at the table.

20/03/2024: I absolutely do not recommend this place. Rude staff. We wanted to have a drink but, since they were setting the table for the evening, the tables were all free and there was no one there yet, they didn't allow us to sit. I was with a disabled person on crutches. How disgusting.

04/03/2024: Al bar per un aperitivo pre pranzo,sabato alle 12,44 ci viene detto che avremmo potuto consumare solo al banco,e fin qui... nel mentre ci approprinquiamo al banco,noto lo sguardo e l'andatura del bartender molto annoiata dalla cosa,alchè mi permetto di ribadire che se fosse stato troppo tardi,avremmo evitato di "disturbare ",alchè mi viene risposto: " purché non facciate con troppa calma!!!. Vergognoso, indecente.

29/03/2024: The restaurant is a very characteristic environment and consists of several rooms. Very nice atmosphere that puts you at ease. The staff, young, absolutely trained and professional but polite and friendly but never intrusive. The menu consists of a few but excellent courses. The price is appropriate for the quality of the food offered. I also had the possibility and need to stay overnight in one of their rooms. Since it is an inn, as such you shouldn't expect who knows what. The room was welcoming, the bathroom clean and equipped with the bare minimum. So don't expect TVs and hairdryers. For the rest everything is ok. Outside, on the main entrance, the small square with a car park. I left the motorbike there without any kind of problem.

04/04/2024: Truly scandalous starting from the unprofessional, rude and rude owner and even some of the waitresses we ate at On Easter Monday with a 40 euro menu with few items at the table they also told us they didn't have meat after we booked a table. I'm sorry but one star is too much to never go back again. I advise against it. It's horrible.

17/03/2024: We went just yesterday with some acquaintances; me and my wife for the first time. There were six of us. The food is good and traditional. We didn't have much: a round of small samples (a bit of ham, a spoonful of ricotta, two petttlecocks, a bit of chicory with broad beans, a small jar of cod mousse), a first or second course, two bottles of wine (not a supertuscans) and dessert; portions not generous (but fair).........total (lump sum) €35 each. I would say a little expensive!! Then, too much confusion (we couldn't even hear our own voices) and a slightly dark environment. Dimly lit table (I want to see on the plate!).
