24/02/2025: Don't be fooled by the location, because this place is a little pearl. A simple and welcoming place. Carlo was super helpful not only in the service, but he also cheered us up with his kindness. All the dishes, from appetizers to desserts, are entirely produced by them. Truly spectacular food and unique attention to the customer and his needs. Super recommended wine produced by them. I will definitely go back.

The cuisine is a mix of Umbrian tradition with touches of innovation and creativity. The service is attentive and hospitable and the staff is always ready to advise guests. L'Archibugio is the ideal place for a special evening.

14/03/2025: We loved every second of our visit at this lovely restaurant. Our server, Elaina, made our experience wonderful and the chef did a superb job of creating unique and delicious entrees. I adored the pistachio and pesto pasta. Mouthwatering! Don’t hesitate to visit this excellent restaurant. We drove from Spello!

19/01/2025: Restaurant on the road that goes to Gubbio (Contessa), a historic place that attracts numerous loyal and passing customers, given its favorable position. The food offered is genuine, homemade, where the plating takes a back seat in favor of authenticity and concreteness. Essential but tidy setting. The affable and long-experienced manager although still young, smiling service even if a little hasty so as not to leave anyone behind. In short, a place that can be recommended, for a low final bill based on the general quality. Very large car park in front.

22/03/2025: The food arrived almost immediately, with very friendly service. as for the food, I took a white pizza with: sausage and wustel, the mozzarella on top was perfect temperature and with a lot of flavor, the wustel was well cooked and with the usual flavor, same thing for the sausage. The pizza was neither too high nor too thin, which gave the classic flavor of pizza.

07/03/2025: Unfortunately I didn't have a good time, or rather I had a problem with the grill, the size of the meat was ridiculous, as can be seen from the photos the parts of my grill were tiny, the rib was microscopic, the sausage was very thin and the lamb itself was very small, that of my partner and my mother were triple the size, but the problem arose when the waitress came here and asked how it had gone, I pointed out the problem to him and his answer was "it was a 10 euro barbecue" but what the hell answer is that!!!!! However regardless of this the meat was good

13/03/2025: My wife and I came here our first day of vacation just outside Castiglione del Lago. The food was outstanding! Highly recommended the prosciutto and brushetta appetizer! Service was 5 🌟 and were very hospitalble with our broken Italian. Prices were also very reasonable for the quality!

08/03/2025: During our stay near the lake, my partner and I, coming from Rome, had the pleasure of discovering an exceptional restaurant, booked through TheFork. The experience was nothing short of memorable, thanks to a welcoming atmosphere and a well-kept environment. Being a barbecue place, our attention was focused on the meat, which proved to be of superb quality and cooked to perfection, according to our preferences (rare). The restaurant offers the possibility to choose between three levels of marbling, with options varying daily. We opted for medium marbling, selecting a Scottish cut, as the Polish cut with the highest marbling didn't particularly inspire us. I would like to express my appreciation to the chef, whose kindness and expertise enriched our experience. He showed us the cooking technique used, which involves a grill specially designed to allow the wood smoke to adhere to the meat, giving it an intense and delicious flavour. A nice touch was the rosemary infused oil, which further enhanced the flavor of the meat. Although we had considered adding a side dish, we preferred to focus on the meat so as not to weigh us down. However, I highly recommend the starters, especially the bacon-wrapped tomino and the pecorino with truffle, both excellent. To accompany dinner, we enjoyed a local house wine, which won us over so much that we decided to buy it today. In summary, an amazing dining experience, which I highly recommend to anyone in the area. An unforgettable culinary experience on the shores of the lake: discovering an excellent grill Escaping from the Roman frenzy, my partner and I decided to treat ourselves to a short holiday in the picturesque surroundings of the lake. The search for a place where we could enjoy a special dinner led us, via the TheFork platform, to discover a restaurant that turned out to be a real hidden gem. From the first glance, the atmosphere of the place won us over: an intimate and welcoming environment, furnished with taste and attention to detail, which promised an evening of relaxation and good food. Being meat lovers, the choice of a grill restaurant proved to be the right one. The menu, focused on fine cuts and expert cooking, immediately intrigued us. The ability to choose between three levels of marbling, with options that vary daily based on availability, added a touch of originality to the experience. After careful evaluation, we opted for a Scottish cut with medium marbling, preferring it to the Polish cut with higher marbling, which had not particularly impressed us. 23/03/2025: Io e la mia famiglia siamo capitati in questo ristorante per caso. Nessuna delle portate ordinate aveva sapore: coratella, carciofi, cinghiale e sugo di castrato. Non solo, ma i piatti non sono mai stati serviti a tutti i commensali contemporaneamente e il cameriere, invece di scusarsi, ha commentato il nostro disappunto dicendo che avevamo fretta. Peccato pero' che non sia una questione di fretta, bensì una delle regole base della ristorazione...oltre al fatto che l'atteggiamento verso il cliente dovrebbe essere di tutt'altro genere. Ristorante da evitare!!

06/03/2025: Locale caratteristico , cucina umbra semplice d genuina a costi non esosi. Accoglienza informale e affabile. Buoni i primi rigorosamente fatti a mano , ottimi antipasti …unico neo carciofi in umido poco farciti.
