21/01/2024: I'm sorry to say it but I was really disappointed with this pizzeria. It was once very famous in the area perhaps, but now in my opinion not really... we were a group of friends (8) we tried not to order so many different pizzas and in any case they came out out two three at a time..and then the small pizzas, not even at the edge of the plate as you can see from the photo..it had to be a 4 cheese pizza but without tomato, it's always the same one I get..but it was not only small but dry and of the 4 cheeses there was nothing, it was nothing..(9.50 euros, a steal..)Then I also got the ice cream which was artisanal but for 5.5 euros at least at the level of the rim of the cup..(another theft ) In short, I gave two stars, one for the service which was kind and one because I ate it and didn't send it back. I don't think I'll go back again.

18/01/2024: Dinner for 4 on a Thursday evening, first time. What can I say: a well-kept place and a comfortable environment, very quiet and pleasant; impeccable, kind, friendly service; very good pizza, thin although not too thin, but in which we perceived the excellent quality of the ingredients. Last, but not least, the desserts are homemade: we took 4 different desserts and they were all good and fresh. We will definitely be back!

30/11/2023: Ci sono tornato dopo un po’ di tempo! Era meglio se rimanevo con il ricordo della Cecina che facevano! Ambiente buio e il titolare che non ha alzato gli occhi dal cellulare, cecina anni luce da quella che era…. Spero sia stato un giorno sbagliato!

09/11/2023: Discovered by chance while returning from a day in Lucca. An excellent pizza, combined with the friendliness of the owners make this pizzeria an excellent alternative to many other places. Advised!!

20/07/2024: Authentic Italian trattoria using fresh ingredients - unpretentious and inexpensive, and a welcome contrast to the shallow glitz of Pietrasanta. The owners are friendly and accomodating - I suspect the bad review they have received here says more about the reviewer!

17/07/2024: Cucina ottima!! Scelta fra carne, pesce e pizza!!! Personale gentilissimo. Camere essenziali ma pulitissime,con condizionatore e TV. La posizione é strategica perché é a pochi passi dal centro storico e pochi minuti di auto dal lungo mare. Prezzi accessibili. Consiglio vivamente la pizza, é leggera e buonissima!mentre i Tordelli, sono fatti in casa..una garanzia!!! Ampio parcheggio gratuito...CONSIGLIO!

25/07/2024: Mega delicious food, extremely nice owner. There were five of us, we had risotto, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, spaghetti with seafood and 2x pizza. There was a party outside, it was very full, but we still got a table straight away (we hadn't made a reservation and were there with a large dog). Menu cards also in English or German, and the owner speaks both (Italian anyway 😉). We will be back definitely.

15/02/2024: Premetto che siamo clienti affezionati e che è a mio parere la pizza più buona di Lucca. Prodotto eccellenti e impasto super digeribile e gustoso! Ma vorrei rivolgermi un secondo al titolare… Ieri siamo stati serviti da una cameriera a dir poco irritante. Una signora con i capelli neri lunghi dalla costituzione robusta. Il suo atteggiamento è stato da venditrice di mercato, con toni saccenti e impositivi. Cattivissima esperienza. Mi dispiace. Spero di non trovarla più sinceramente,la prossima volta.. Ci ha quasi imposto di provare l’antipasto e ha risposto ad una mia semplice domanda con tono molto duri. Nulla da dire per il resto del personale che ben conosciamo. Attento disponibile e impeccabile. Mi dispiace, ma vi consiglio vivamente di farle un richiamo.

19/07/2024: Tragedy. An appetizer at the same time as the main course. Yours sincerely. Toilet without towels and hairdryer. The staff is not very interested in customers. I do not recommend it, especially for foreigners. Rabble.

23/06/2024: We went out in the evening with friends for a night out. The pizza is very good and there is also something good to drink.

10/08/2024: I was there one evening and waited half an hour to enter. Punctual and discreet service. Venue with rooms on the first floor and a large outdoor area. I ate an excellent plate of fried fish and a sorbet. Even though the place was full, the waiting time was within 20 minutes. For those who want to eat well at moderate prices I recommend it.
