31/12/2025: Discovered by chance. Family lunch to celebrate our anniversary. Sublime risotto with black salt, strawberry drops, and raw shrimp tartare. Super tender steak. Price in line with the quality, perhaps the wine by the glass is a bit high. Excellent desserts. Recommended.

08/01/2026: I came just minutes before rush hour on Friday night. Wanted a take out pizza. The pizza pizzaiolo agreed to make me one. I waited 5 minutes and left with a delicious pizza with 3 toppings. 9 Euro. Mama Mia bonissimo

14/01/2026: We visited L’Angolo Tondo on January 1st and had a truly wonderful experience. The service was exceptional – very attentive, warm, and dedicated. We especially appreciated that the staff took the time to explain the menu and their recommendations to us perfectly in English. We were a group of four adults with a baby in a stroller, and they were incredibly accommodating. They actively helped us choose a table, ensuring we had plenty of space and felt comfortable at all times. The food was excellent: We opted for the chef's five-course tasting menu, which we absolutely loved. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented – a true culinary delight. We will definitely return as soon as we are back in Lucca and wholeheartedly recommend L’Angolo Tondo.

I recommend that you define at the time of booking whether the table is inside the tavern or outside in the dehor based on the season because if you don't ask first, the more complainers you get, the better the place.

06/01/2026: An excellent lunch at Oste di Lucca. We had an excellent Chianina Fiorentina steak, high-quality meat, perfectly cooked. A special thank you to Vincenzo for his wonderful attention to us, preparing a dish dedicated to our future fatherhood. A gesture that truly made us happy. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Recommended.

17/01/2026: I had dinner with some friends at this restaurant in Lucca, very nicely decorated with Western-style furnishings. We had some appetizers and meat, which I think is their specialty...a Thomawhok, delicious in flavor and cooked as a steak should be cooked! Good food, a great place for socializing, and not cheap in price...let's say average!

07/01/2026: I'm from Viareggio, where there are countless pizzerias and I've tried so many, but... this one takes the top spot. 🥇 I've never licked my fingers so thoroughly after eating a pizza. Not thick, not thin. Not flabby, not dry. Not too greasy, not too dry. Well-seasoned and with good ingredients. In short... perfect! 🍕 Very kind staff and exceptional pizza. In short, very good. 👏🏻 Thanks to my girlfriend for introducing me to this place. ☺️

01/01/2026: The best New Year's Eve party we've had in recent years. Delicious food, excellent wines, and wonderful service. Last night, both the company at the table and the restaurant were wonderful. We arrived at 11:45 without even realizing it. I recommend this place to everyone. 22/10/2025: Good pizzas and calzones! Very good value, the staff was nice and friendly, they do not speak English very much, so just be prepared to communicate with them.

05/01/2026: Very Italian only local. Have been coming here for years every time I come to Lucca. It’s is incredible and affordable! You should should get a few plates to share. And try the beans soup it’s amazing!! And make sure you reverse it you will not get a table.

16/11/2025: I visited this restaurant recently, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The appetizers, especially the cured meats, were decent, but the accompanying fried pasta left much to be desired: it seemed to have been prepared hours earlier and had completely lost its flavor. The real problem came with the first courses. We ordered three, and surprisingly, all three had the same flaws: bland flavors, an almost complete lack of salt, and preparation that didn't do justice to the dishes described on the menu. When we politely pointed this out, we were met with a rather indifferent reaction, without an explanation or even an apology. At the end of the meal, we weren't even offered coffee or liqueur, which would have at least partially made up for a less than satisfying evening. It's a shame, because the promise seemed good, but the overall experience fell short of expectations. I managed to lose eight customers in one fell swoop.

28/12/2025: Ninni's is a guarantee. Every time we go to Lucca and stay for dinner, we go to Ninni's. I park nearby, and if you want to stroll, just cross the footbridge and you're right in the center. On the way back, you can stop at this cute, welcoming place. The service is impeccable, and the staff are smart, very kind, and helpful. The cecina is superb, both classic and with bacon or onion. Pizza exceeds expectations: different doughs, classic and more sophisticated toppings, something for every taste. Gourmet pizza...a real treat! I tried "la ficata"...truly "awesome." We'll definitely be back. The online reservation option is also excellent. Keep it up...
