15/03/2025: Pizza pauvre en garniture sans saveur, salade du chef trop de salade verte 3 crevettes. Service lo g alors qu'il n'y avait personne. Dommage pour un restaurant italien.

06/03/2025: Fuimos a Sasso del Dante tres veces durante nuestra última estancia en Florencia: dos veces para la cena y una para el almuerzo. Sólo probamos pastas y sopas. Todos fueron excelentes. Para la cena, comimos raviolis con salsa de trufa y tagliatelle con porcino una vez, y raviolis boloñesa y lasaña la segunda vez. Para comer tuvimos dos clásicos florentinos: ribollita y pappa pomodoro. Los ravioles y las ribollitas fueron particularmente sobresalientes. También probamos varios de sus vinos, que eran todos muy buenos. Solo intentamos pedir el postre una vez: biscotti con vinsanto, pero se quedaron sin vinsanto. El ambiente y el servicio también eran buenos. El servicio fue atento y amable. La ubicación es genial: en una calle tranquila, pero a pocos pasos de Santa Maria dei Fiori. Este es un muy buen lugar si usted está visitando el Duomo, o alojarse en esa zona.

08/03/2025: Locale carino, senza pretese, pizza ottima. Magari darei la possibilità di scegliere pizze con ingredienti più ricercati e di qualità superiore, ovviamente commisurandone il prezzo. L'impasto della pizza è molto buono andrebbe valorizzato con prodotti eccellenti. Attenzione alla cottura della pizza, meglio un pò meno cotta che bruciata in alcuni punti. Valutazione complessiva più che positiva

27/02/2025: A little dated but well kept environment, efficient staff (despite it being a Saturday evening and with 3 huge birthdays) we had appetizers, crostini, bruschetta and coccoli with ham and stracchino, of good quality, the sore point was the pizza, rubbery and tasteless despite the seasoning and indigestible. Special mention for the really good desserts. Will we return? Perhaps

14/03/2025: As always a good place to eat an excellent pizza with a beer. The menu also includes the first of the day and appetizers. Inside room while in summer you can eat outside.

06/02/2025: Congratulations, there were 3 of us for lunch today, we ate very well. The delicious cold cuts platter with "coccoli" (which we didn't know coming from Rome). I had the brie and truffle gnocchi and they were truly delicious! Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Well done!

21/02/2025: We stayed in 3 in a room for just one night, but we had a great time. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very kind girl whose name I unfortunately didn't ask, but both she and her colleague (with whom we chatted the next day) were absolutely friendly and affable. We were early for check-in, but the room was already ready and they checked us in right away (in any case they assured us that we could leave our bags in reception) The room was small, but complete with everything. Air conditioning for cold/hot air, sockets next to the beds, desk and bathroom complete with bidet and a super shower. We appreciated the cleanliness and courtesy of the lady who supervised the breakfast room. The breakfast was complete with everything, sweet and savory. The very central location, literally 10 minutes from the center, we reached all our points of interest on foot. For the price we paid everything was super! Highly recommended and we will gladly return!

22/03/2025: good pizza but I had to wait 1 hour to have the pizza in front of me for the other two simple margheritas, without the place being full or crowded arrived at 8.30pm pizza seen at 9.50pm, that says it all.

16/01/2025: After a few months, thanks to a famous restaurant booking app, I return to Antica Badia in Via Faentina. We arrived in the early evening and were the only customers until 8.30pm on a cold and anonymous Saturday. The place is always the same, at the table an improved misenplus, with a touch of elegance. For the rest, I recommend dedicating yourself to a deep cleaning of the cobwebs on the wooden beams on the ceiling. Not so much for the atmosphere but for any allergies of the customers. The cleanliness of the services and the table itself was excellent The service is very attentive, professional and very friendly, available to listen to the customer about their needs. Basic but good quality menu with excellent culinary offerings. But now let's move on to the food, how to eat it, we had two pici cacio e pepe, made really well, perhaps small portions, but it must be because they are very greedy We took two pizzas, which in the end are named after Italian cities, but they are the classic ones reviewed by the pizza chef, good pasta and interesting raw materials.. Good Quality.... To drink we consumed three Pepsis. As a final consideration I can only recommend the Pizzeria Antica Badia, it should be tried both for lunch and in the evening, a very simple but comfortable environment thanks also to the convenient car park in front. I also do take-away pizza. Take your time and enjoy the good food..

29/11/2024: Not strictly Florentine restaurant but with some dishes that hark back to local tradition, very good crostini with meat sauce, like tagliatelle with the same sauce, a little less exciting "penne alla carretta", pasta with tomato and cream basically... maybe from review. Service is normal, the guy is kind and friendly. Normal price for a crostini, two first courses, a second course and a dessert: €52.50.

14/02/2025: Descubrimos este restaurante la última vez que estuvimos en Florencia y sabíamos que queríamos visitarlo de nuevo. Hicimos una reserva para el almuerzo, y tenían una mesa lista para nosotros cuando llegamos. Este restaurante tiene un ambiente encantador. Dom, nuestro camarero, estaba feliz de saber que habíamos venido antes y nos cuidó excelentemente. Ambos disfrutamos de una de nuestras favoritas - una especialidad florentina - la Ribollita, que es una sopa de pan y verduras. Es una sopa muy abundante y llena. También decidimos compartir una Pizza Margherita, que era perfecta – una corteza crujiente cubierta con la cantidad justa de salsa de tomate – queso mozzarella y albahaca. Mi marido disfrutó de la casa de vino blanco. Este es un restaurante al que vale la pena volver cuando visitamos Florencia.
