25/10/2025: Truly a fantastic pizzeria! We ended up there because I'm gluten-free. The gluten-free pizzas are made in a separate kitchen with homemade dough – extremely delicious and guaranteed gluten-free! They even serve gluten-free beer. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free products. The "regular" pizzas also taste very, very good – regional, fresh ingredients, traditional and unusual variations. Perfect pizzeria!

24/10/2025: Grani da Re – Pizzeria & Ristorante was a real highlight of our trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that lovely mix of warmth and authenticity that makes you feel instantly at home. The pizza was out of this world – easily the best we had anywhere in Sicily. The base was perfectly light and crisp, the toppings fresh and full of flavour, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven. I wish I’d tried their organic grain pizza, but I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical at first, having been disappointed by other local restaurants where the pizza was, frankly, quite poor. I’m kicking myself now, because if it’s anything like the one I had, it must be incredible! If you love pizza, make sure you visit Grani da Re – it’s an absolute must. We can’t wait to go back!

05/09/2025: A well-deserved five stars for this takeout pizzeria! The experience was excellent, starting with the option of eating in thanks to the outdoor benches and tables. We ordered two red pizzas with buffalo mozzarella and were amazed by the quality of the ingredients: the freshness and flavor were truly exceptional, a level rarely found in takeout pizzerias. The wood-fired oven made the dough perfect, confirming the high quality of the ingredients. Furthermore, the prices are very fair (€7.50 per pizza) and the staff was extremely kind and helpful.

06/10/2025: What a beautiful experience! It was like having a meal with family. Authentic Sicilian food at its best. Angela and her family are beautiful and so welcoming and warm. A bit of a drive into the agricultural area of Sicily but 💯 worth it!!

09/03/2026: I was truly thrilled with my experience at Pizzeria Dell'Orso in Calatafimi Segesta! 🍕 The place is welcoming and familiar, perfect for a lovely evening with friends. The pizza is truly excellent, with fresh, quality ingredients and a light, tasty dough. You can taste the attention to detail in the preparation. A special thanks also to Aurelia, who served us with kindness, professionalism, and always with a smile, making us feel at ease right away. The quality-price ratio was also excellent. Definitely a place to return to and one I recommend to anyone passing through Calatafimi Segesta! 👏🍕

28/01/2026: The place is very nice, and the owners' courtesy is always outstanding. Ten of us arrived on our motorcycles without a reservation, and their organization was impeccable. As always, I had divine couscous, and my friends enjoyed the entire meal without leaving even a crumb. We'll definitely be back in the summer to appreciate the new location even more.

15/02/2026: Terrible experience. Very questionable service, starting with the lights not working in the outdoor dining area, the air being stale, and not being able to open any French windows to get fresh air. We sat down at 8:30 PM, and the first pizzas/burgers arrived at 10:00 PM, and even then, the entire group was served separately. Whoever received their plate first had finished eating and had a cigarette by the time the last plate arrived. Not to mention the toppings on the burgers and pizzas didn't exactly match the menu. Finally, the owner was extremely rude, refusing to take criticism and responding arrogantly, urging everyone to pay rather than apologize.

13/10/2025: We had the best pizza of our entire Sicily vacation here! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The pizza is baked in a real wood-fired oven and served in pizza boxes. There's a huge selection, and the prices are more than fair, especially for Favignana.

28/09/2025: Amazing pizza in a very simple venue, but nice. No table service but it was not a problem for me.Had a Monella with mortadela and pistacchi and it was delicious. They have drinks as well (beer and wine) and vegan options. Recommended to me by locals.

We savored the still-hot pizzas, and they were truly delicious, flavorful, and flavorful! The dough was fantastic, well-risen, and with a crunchy crust that was mouth-watering!

15/02/2026: Karaoke is something for everyone, and there are those who don't. Having two rooms, one practically half full where there's no karaoke and one where you can't even talk due to the chaos, it would have been right to let the customer know when making a phone reservation and ask where they prefer to eat their pizza 🍕. Absolutely poor booking management.

15/02/2026: Yesterday, my partner and I had a Valentine's Day seafood dinner with very high expectations given our previous positive experiences at the restaurant, only to be deeply disappointed. While personal tastes can influence the food, there were some obvious problems. Water, soft drinks, and wine were immediately brought to the table, but unfortunately, they didn't open them at the table. The appetizers were generally decent; the shrimp cocktail was a real treat, excellent, as were the swordfish pearl and the mussels au gratin. The octopus carpaccio was drowned in oil and flavorless, the salmon tartare with orange mayonnaise lacked even a hint of flavor, and the tartare itself was completely unseasoned. The tuna mousse was passable, as was the shrimp and crab fritter. The first courses didn't impress us; the dressing seemed watered down. The trenette with shrimp, pistachio, and asparagus oil lacked the flavor of asparagus, and the lobster panzerotti weren't fresh. The second courses were the same: the stuffed salmon roll was very dry and arrived practically cold. The filling was good overall, but the gratinated shrimp skewer wasn't gratinated and had a strong ammonia flavor. Unfortunately, the dishes left an unpleasant aftertaste. The side dish of baked potatoes with cheese fondue, without fondue, was simply melted cheese that arrived cold and with the consistency of plastic. It definitely wasn't a fondue. Too much oil, too much garlic, too much disorganization. The dessert had been there since the Paleolithic era; it tasted like something frozen years later. I'm deeply disappointed, and I'm sorry because we've eaten very well here in the past, but last night I don't know what could have happened.

27/10/2025: In the simplicity of the setting, excellent service, friendly and professional, fair prices, and the best is... the food. They do their job, quality and quantity are excellent... There's no other like that caponata... a pleasure for the senses, thank you.
