24/01/2026: An experience not to be repeated. Upon our arrival, the waitress promptly warned us that there would be a long wait for the pizzas, inviting us to order something in the meantime. We ordered a fried food to pass the time (which arrived in record time), but the pizzas arrived after just 10 minutes. We also asked for clarification on any allergens, but received no response, despite the fact that they were present in the dishes we ordered. It's important to remember that allergens can cause anaphylactic shock in sensitive individuals. The pizzas that were supposed to contain 'nduja were completely free of it. Furthermore, it is absolutely unacceptable that in 2026, people are still smoking in the dining room and that the staff doesn't intervene to dissuade them, except after numerous complaints. I'm sorry, but the experience was decidedly negative: little respect and attention to customers.

31/12/2025: Pizzeria Number One is undoubtedly a guarantee. The food is excellent quality; you can clearly taste the fresh and carefully selected ingredients. The pizza dough is light, digestible, and not heavy, something rare these days. Special mention goes to the rustici, rustic panzerotti, arancini, and croquettes: all handmade and not pre-frozen like many other pizzerias. This really makes a difference on the palate: every bite has an authentic, homemade flavor, unique. The pizza is truly excellent; as mentioned, the dough is incredibly light, and the toppings are always generous and well-balanced. The service is prompt, even at peak times: I often go there on weekends, and yesterday, during the Coez concert in the square, the quality and speed were unchanged. The staff are kind, friendly, and always smiling; they make you feel at home. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well and feel welcomed. Really well done!

13/10/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever had! I went to this pizzeria on the recommendation of friends, and I have to say it exceeded all expectations. The dough is simply perfect: light, well-leavened, and with just the right amount of crispy crust. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, and you can taste their care, from the fior di latte mozzarella to the tomato sauce; every bite is an explosion of flavor. The place is welcoming, clean, and has a warm, family-like atmosphere. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very attentive, without ever being intrusive. Service was quick, even when the place was full.

16/02/2026: We're so sorry!!!!!!! We were there last year and had a wonderful meal. We thought we'd repeat the wonderful experience, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. We had a terrible dinner. The house appetizer, which was overpriced, should definitely be avoided. The octopus was cold and rubbery, the mussels au gratin were inedible, dry, and tough. The burger was unclear what kind of meat it was made of. Only the pizza was good. We don't want to offend the management, but we believe that reviews—negative ones, that is—help improve customer service. We're ordinary people, without great expectations, but certainly not naive. We'll hardly return!!!

17/01/2026: We ordered pizzas through Just Eat at 5:50 PM because, being Saturday and with kids, we needed to eat early. The order was confirmed with a delivery notification at 8:30 PM. At 9 PM, still no delivery, and we called twice. Rude and arrogant, they told us over the phone that next time we could easily try another pizzeria. At 9:30 PM, still no pizza in sight. A terrible experience.

12/09/2025: It's very relaxing if you have children there; they can play and the parents can eat in peace. Pizza from 1 meter is so delicious, as is the pucca.

07/09/2025: Biblical wait times. Inexperienced and slow staff, except for Cosimo, a young man who tried his best to fix everything. Perfect for outings with children, with a play area for them (ages 3 to 15). The puccia al metro is delicious, but the pizza al metro could be improved. I recommend increasing the staff and finding someone with a little more experience.

18/08/2025: Lido del Sol in Marina di Pescoluse is a little paradise in Salento! The well-kept lawn area offers ample space, well-spaced umbrellas, and a perfect play area for children. Extremely friendly and professional staff, excellent cuisine (pizza and fresh seafood), a bar with cocktails, and quality dining options. The sea is picture-perfect, with crystal-clear waters reminiscent of the Maldives of Salento. A few details could be improved, such as the restrooms and bar prices in high season, but overall, a truly positive experience.

08/09/2025: Everything was perfect, the utmost politeness and kindness, impeccable service, far from the unbearable hubbub of some of the squares in the historic center of MESAGNE. You can eat excellent delicacies in company and relax in carefree conversations with friends and family, without any improvised restaurateur ruining your eardrums with bass and contrasting vibrations that have nothing to do with the cultural context of the natural location, which thus becomes a violence, and you also have to pay significant amounts for poor food. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LOCATION OF PIZZERIA GIUSY. BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND EQUALLY PLEASANT OUTSIDE

02/01/2026: Terrible experience. A 2.5-hour wait for three salads and two stuffed ones from the menu. The management preferred to let takeout orders go first through Deliveroo and locals, leaving the in-house customers at their tables. To get the three salads delivered first, they made us choose the same type of salad. Every time we received information about our order, they told us to wait another 1 minute each time. Terrible organization. They apologized at checkout. I'm disappointed because it could have been a really good experience given the good products, but customers also pay the cover charge when they come in and sit down, so they should be given priority, even to free up the table for the next person. 1 star because you can't get any less.

21/12/2025: They take forever to prepare the sandwiches and pizzas; I waited an hour, and they finally arrived. The sandwich was decently good, but quite small; the meat inside wasn't very large. The atmosphere was quite crowded, but nice.

13/11/2025: Terrible experience, we waited over two hours for four pizzas, not to mention the place is stuck in the 1970s, with broken chairs and post-war tables. In 40 years, I've never found a place this run-down...

29/07/2025: Pizzas and insalata di mare are very good, the service too, the noise is sometimes a little too much but there small covered terrace allows for more peace and quiet, the prices are good.

09/10/2025: Absolutely fantastic place to eat, a real hidden gem in a sleepy small town, probably, the best woodfired oven pizza and bbq meat with real wood fired oven and grill/bbq. The service is extremely friendly and the food is absolutely delicious, well cooked and served promptly. The chef/cook is a highly skilled expert in his art, every piece of meat is cooked to perfection and super tasty. I'm very picky with my food and this restaurant hit continuous home runs with the super high quality of food all night long. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant (summer season only) as you won't be disappointed in both the service and quality of the food and the price is extremely reasonable. 5 stars all the way. This is my second visit here, I'm loving it.
