03/05/2026: Another historic place that has remained in the same location for over 45 years, with more or less the same decor. Excellent schiacciata, cured meats, and cheeses. Simple first and second courses. An ideal place for a quality snack or lunch. Bar, tobacconist, and a small grocery store complete the picture. Convenient parking.

01/05/2026: We came in today for a sandwich and walked out paying €25.50 for two sandwiches with prosciutto, artichokes, and cheese and two beers. Are we in the center of Florence or at the branch in Calenzano? The sandwiches are good, but we're still hungry! The prices are ridiculous.

25/01/2026: Best pizza in Taranto. Quality, affordability, and, most importantly, a wood-fired oven. We don't need gourmet fare to have a great product. Fantastic.

29/12/2025: I ordered takeout pizzas. The only strange thing I've noticed among various takeout pizzerias in Taranto is the custom of charging the customer when they order. I don't know, but in my area, people usually pay upon delivery and not beforehand, but it's probably a local practice. Aside from that, which I consider an anomaly, I can absolutely recommend the pizzeria because the pizza I ate was truly excellent.

I advise everyone to take their food and call the finance department if they don't accept electronic payment. Maybe the owner will return to Earth, where laws aren't an option but a duty to be respected. Dura lex, sed lex.

13/02/2026: Pizzeria with plenty of seating Excellent, tasty pizza, pizza tortillas, sandwiches, main courses, and much more. Numerous beers on tap and in bottles. Fast service and attentive staff in the dining room are always available to assist with any eventuality.

24/01/2026: An experience not to be repeated. Upon our arrival, the waitress promptly warned us that there would be a long wait for the pizzas, inviting us to order something in the meantime. We ordered a fried food to pass the time (which arrived in record time), but the pizzas arrived after just 10 minutes. We also asked for clarification on any allergens, but received no response, despite the fact that they were present in the dishes we ordered. It's important to remember that allergens can cause anaphylactic shock in sensitive individuals. The pizzas that were supposed to contain 'nduja were completely free of it. Furthermore, it is absolutely unacceptable that in 2026, people are still smoking in the dining room and that the staff doesn't intervene to dissuade them, except after numerous complaints. I'm sorry, but the experience was decidedly negative: little respect and attention to customers.

17/01/2026: We ordered pizzas through Just Eat at 5:50 PM because, being Saturday and with kids, we needed to eat early. The order was confirmed with a delivery notification at 8:30 PM. At 9 PM, still no delivery, and we called twice. Rude and arrogant, they told us over the phone that next time we could easily try another pizzeria. At 9:30 PM, still no pizza in sight. A terrible experience.

02/05/2026: Not a great experience. We ordered two Peronis and two slices of pizza. When we asked, we were met with a pretentious response: "Would you like a better beer (I don't remember the name)?" Too bad a simple 33cl Peroni was priced at €2.50. The pizza wasn't good.

05/03/2026: One of the best pizzerias I've ever eaten at. The atmosphere is very welcoming (it really feels like you're in the historic center), the staff is incredibly friendly, and above all, the pizza is delicious. It's incredibly light, so much so that even those who don't like it will eat the crust. The pizzas have a wide variety of flavors, all of which are spot-on. We're now regulars, and this makes everything so much more enjoyable. When the pizza chef recommends pizzas, it's as if he can read our minds. It's become a cure-all 😂.

23/03/2026: I don't recommend this place. We walked in and there was no one before us. We asked what they could fill the panzerotti with. The response was lazy and surly, listing two or three fillings. To be on the safe side, we chose the classic one and a Margherita. We did it all in a rather annoyed manner. In the end, we left with two classic baked panzerotti and a Margherita, for 12 euros. The result was that we didn't eat anything; the panzerotto was empty and the dough was rubbery, and the pizza seemed frozen. I don't think we'll be back.

23/11/2025: Good morning, I was at this pizzeria last night and picked up 9 fried panzerotti. More than panzerotti, I'd call them MASSIVE ACCUMULATIONS. Conclusion: both my wife and son weren't feeling well last night.

17/11/2025: Returning to Peppo's on Via Regina Margherita is always a pleasure. This pizzeria has a nostalgic feel that makes me feel at home, and the owner, Peppe, is a real character, friendly and just the right amount of gruff. Let's talk about the basics: the fried foods are delicious and the drinks are always cold. But the real honorable mention goes to the baked panzerotti, simply excellent. As a lover of spicy food, both the panzerotto and the spicy salami pizza are a real treat that never disappoints. I like the pizza because it has a lovely crunchy texture. There's great honesty in the dish: they don't skimp on the quantity of ingredients, and even if we're not talking about "top-quality" raw materials, the result is more than satisfactory. Above all, and this is crucial, I've never had digestive problems the next day. Of course, the dough could be even better, perhaps with a longer leavening time, but that's just a small detail. In short: it might not be the most technically incredible pizza I've ever tasted, but I always go back to Peppo's. For the average in Barletta, the quality-price ratio is simply superb. Highly recommended.

29/08/2025: Takeout pizzeria. The pizzas are generally good. We ordered them a couple of nights because we were nearby. The crust is thin and crispy (I prefer them softer), the ingredients are decent and generously portioned. Prices are good. The atmosphere doesn't convey a great sense of cleanliness (they may be spotless, but that's just how it looks). Some pizzas were overcooked, with burnt edges and bases.

12/04/2026: If you order a pizza for delivery, you can throw it away cold as a popsicle when it arrives. More than an hour and a half of waiting for simple pizzas has happened before. If it were just the double and undercooked ones, I would never recommend it again.

01/03/2026: The four of us went to Lu Bambu in Collepasso for pizza and were absolutely thrilled! The pizza was a real sensation – simply perfect from the first bite to the last. The dough, the toppings, everything was perfectly balanced and incredibly delicious. The pizzas are generously topped, and the prices are fantastic. However, you should allow some time, as the wait for the pizzas can be quite long. Our tip: Order an appetizer beforehand – it's definitely worth it. Overall, a clear recommendation; we'll definitely be back!

08/03/2026: I was concerned about the lack of an emergency exit on the first floor. The access stairs are steep and dangerous. The staff is fantastic.

14/10/2025: It has really high prices for cocktails made with supermarket alcohol, there is no waiter to serve you and they always make a mess on the tables and on the floor and nobody cleans up
