11/08/2024: After getting some kebabs and finding wasps inside the sandwich, we were laughed at and received no refund. Dirty, small place with no seats. Truly one of the worst kebab shops in all of Varese.

21/07/2024: Good morning everyone.. let me start by saying that we are talking about a take-away pizzeria and therefore I don't understand these embarrassing comments to say the least.. and it makes me think that they are only made to denigrate people of non-Italian nationality who try to work honestly to survive in this difficult period. Having said this, I toured all over Varese to try the various pizzas that the local restaurants offer... and I must say that this Gabibbo pizzeria has been chosen for some time for its digestible dough and simple ingredients... their business is like those that once existed... a small business that tries to treat customers based on their personal needs. So these unsympathetic, gratuitous and out of place reviews can only hurt the people who work and the area which, to tell the truth, doesn't offer much unlike the usual boring aperitifs that have been on offer for some time. Also keep in mind that the pizzas and kebab sandwiches are baked in a wood-fired oven which not all pizzerias are equipped with. Greetings to all and bon appetit.

26/08/2024: Questo ristorante l abbiamo scoperto un po' per caso Sembra di tornare indietro nel tempo Gli arredi e l atmosfera fanno un po' anni 90. Ciò detto la qualità del cibo è eccellente. Ci è capitato si di mangiare una semplice pizza (ottima) sia ci cenare a base di pesce qualità eccellente davvero. L olio è entusiasmante!!

01/08/2024: I arrive at the restaurant around 8pm, booking by telephone a week in advance. Enter and the place is completely empty (Wednesday) I'm about to sit down and they inform me that dogs are not allowed (5kg miniature poodle who by the way doesn't shed by nature). To which they give me no other alternative than to leave the place immediately and practically push me out. In the group of 8 people there were also 2 children... thrown into the middle of the road. I'm not saying much but at least advise when booking given that in 2024 99% of places will accept dogs. Here we are left in the Middle Ages

20/08/2024: The pizza was really good and the service was really fast. At the tables outside you have a fantastic lake view and few mosquitoes. The sorbet wasn't the best. Despite this I highly recommend it for pizzas

19/08/2024: We stayed as a family of 5 for 2 nights. The rooms are clean and adequately equipped. The staff was very friendly in the hotel and in the restaurant. The 2 star deduction comes from the restaurant. The dinner was ok but not a feast for the palate. The food here was too tasteless for my taste, as if nothing was seasoned. That's why we only went there once, the house wine and breakfast were very good!

16/08/2024: Pizza club, all can you eat pizza. Very interesting format, very kind and cooperative staff to make the visit to this place a pleasant experience. A huge quantity of pizzas, with the staff constantly turning the tables. The best are Naples, the pan pizza and the one with pesto. Really good prices, the pizza tour includes a liter of beer per diner. A place I would happily return to.

13/08/2024: Not very large pizzeria, with the possibility of eating outside. Unfortunately, however, being on a provincial road, you are "victims" of traffic. Very good pizza and friendly, attentive service. Prices a little higher than average. There is a small dirt parking lot owned by the pizzeria, in the rear part of the restaurant.

04/07/2024: Nei "gloriosi" anni '70 (del secolo scorso, ovviamente...), quando si "bigiava" la scuola, oppure anche un normale pomeriggio o sera a Gallarate era un "must": ovvero, andiamo a farci una pizza da Nello. Storico locale di pizza al trancio, l'insegna recita che è aperto dal 1944 (ci voleva una buona dose di coraggio per intraprendere un'attivita' di questo genere in quegli anni tragici...) e quindi compie meritati 80 anni. Si è solo leggermente spostato rispetto alla location storica, questione di pochi metri, ora è piu' "bar", e anche piu' "stretto", ma la "storica" pizza di Nello troneggia sul bancone. Pizza che ricorda quella dei bei tempi, con i suoi pregi e i suoi difetti, ma a me è sempre piaciuta, dimension generose a prezzi corretti. Oltre alle pizze fanno bella mostra di se' giganteschi arancini di vari gusti (una volta...no, non c'erano, chi volete che conoscesse gli arancini di riso a Gallarate negli anni 70...), cosi' come invitanti panzerotti, anche qui quattro o cinque diverse tipologie. Servizio molto carino e gentile, la peculiarita' del locale è che puoi mangiare pizza praticamente a tutte le ore del giorno, essendo aperto ininterrottamente dalle 10 del mattino sino alle ...5 del mattino del giorno dopo!

14/05/2024: I have been to them several times for business lunches, last Sunday I decided to take my wife for lunch and we were both very satisfied. The food is always excellent (I recommend the pan-fried shellfish!), the staff is always very courteous and the service is quite fast. The only sore point, as I happened to be on the day of confirmation banquets and as the car park was not very large, I had to park 500 meters away in the cemetery car park. This does not mean that it deserves a full 5 stars!
