18/05/2026: Sublime dishes! We tried both the risotto and the gnocchi, both delicious! Our favorites were the gnocchi with pears, Taleggio cheese, and speck. Highly recommended. Fast service, friendly waiters, and a lovely atmosphere. I recommend this to anyone who loves risotto. This is definitely a great place to eat it. Generous and satisfying portions. You can also order a trio or two of risotto or gnocchi. We didn't order it, but the platter, which we noticed at other tables, looked equally tempting. Affordable prices, definitely excellent value for money!

17/05/2026: Our visit to the Gnoccheria was a real highlight. The food was absolutely first-class – prepared with great care and incredibly delicious. The gnocchi, in particular, were a delight and showcased authentic Italian cuisine at its finest. The service also deserves high praise: very friendly and attentive staff and a warm atmosphere from the very first moment. The beautiful ambiance in the vaulted cellar made the evening even more special and ensured an authentic and cozy experience. We were also surprised by how fair the prices were: for five people, we paid only about €170 in total, including wine and some appetizers.

13/05/2026: FOR YEARS, THE BEST PIZZA IN VARESE, ABsolutely! Here in Tuscany, I haven't yet found such a high level of quality. There's absolutely no comparison with the unsurpassed flavor of this excellent pizza (There's definitely the "magic touch" and secret ingredient of the delightful pizza chef and manager!) Over the years, the pizzeria—the restaurant itself—has changed shape, opened to the public, and expanded the menu; all this without losing what, in my opinion, is undoubtedly the restaurant's strong point: HOSPITALITY. I've always felt "at home" here, I have wonderful memories of pizza parties with friends on Wednesday evenings, but above all, the kindness and cheerfulness of all the staff. Call ahead in advance, especially on weekends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ❤️

12/05/2026: In Varese, during my lunch break on a Tuesday morning when many restaurants were closed, I found this pizzeria. Creative and unusual pizzas, while still remaining traditional. I really enjoyed the one I tried. Quick service, friendly staff. I love Eastern philosophies, and finding a portrait of my teacher Yogananda and a statue of Ganesh at the checkout filled me with joy. A very pleasant experience.

My boyfriend and I were there, and the lovely girl who welcomed us sat us upstairs even though it was closed, and there were seats downstairs... the pizza was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the timing was perfect. The girl at the door who seated us deserves a special mention: super nice and friendly. She made our evening even better.

02/03/2026: The pizza was practically overcooked, not crispy, and had very little toppings. The worst I've had in years. I don't recommend it at all.

14/01/2026: We went there with my family in November. The food is delicious and plentiful, and the pizza is excellent. The service is excellent. The menu is varied. What struck me most were the desserts, which were different from the usual, expertly crafted, and had fantastic flavors. I highly recommend this place; everything is taken care of with care. 20/04/2026: Every time we stop at Alle Arcate, it's a guaranteed culinary experience. Mrs. Rosalia's courtesy and Mr. Aldo's cuisine have been a must-try for us for almost ten years, with the quality and variety of their products always top-notch! I've read reviews that mention parking as the only drawback. Yes, there are 3/4 of them in front of the restaurant, but just go a little further or a little further and you'll find parking... and then... walk a few more steps, it's absolutely worth it! P.S. Mrs. Rosalia makes amazing desserts!!!

10/05/2026: Quick, cheap, excellent food. Great for lunch. For €10.00, you can eat and drink. Or for €11.90, choose three Japanese/Chinese dishes and drink. I'll definitely be back as soon as I can.

30/04/2026: Business lunch with four colleagues (so we were in a bit of a rush). We waited almost half an hour for our first course, while the same dishes ordered by tables arriving after us were served. The food was pretty poor quality. The sausage risotto tasted boiled, and the meat in the second course was dry. The pizzas looked good, but I didn't try them personally. Not recommended.
