25/03/2025: I visited on a Monday. Usually most restaurants are not open on Mondays outside of the tourist spots. This I was told by a friend who lives nearby. This pizzeria and restaurant serves good quality. Prices are fair for the portions provided. They have a real wood fired oven for making pizza. The thing I found most interesting was their restrooms. They're known as turkish style restroom. Look at the pictures and you'll see. This place is worth a visit.

Il servizio è stato estremamente lento e praticamente inesistente: abbiamo aspettato più di 30 minuti solo per ordinare, e il personale sembrava completamente disinteressato alla presenza dei clienti. Nessuno si è preoccupato di chiedere se avevamo bisogno di qualcosa o di scusarsi per l’attesa. Ho chiesto una birra che non è mai arrivata, dopo aver finito la pizza nessuno ha chiesto se volevamo altro, quindi ci siamo alzati senza poter ordinare nè dolce nè caffè. Alla cassa abbiamo provato a segnalare il problema, ma siamo stati completamente ignorati, come se il disagio fosse normale amministrazione. Un’atmosfera di totale disorganizzazione e mancanza di professionalità. Sicuramente non torneremo.

12/05/2025: Excellent restaurant with quality Italian cuisine... kind and helpful owner and staff, even without a reservation on a Saturday evening they welcomed us and served us to perfection... the Gufo appetizer is absolutely worth trying.

12/05/2025: I had the pleasure of visiting the Il Gufo Restaurant in Carono for Pertusella starting from Brescia and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive to detail, making the service impeccable. The pizza I tasted is undoubtedly the best I've eaten in the last ten years: cooked to perfection, with the highest quality ingredients and a truly unique flavour. I highly recommend everyone to pay a visit to this restaurant and try their amazing pizza!"

05/05/2025: Domenica a pranzo presso questo ristorante specialità pesce io e mia moglie.Posto eccezionale vicino al lago Maggiore con parcheggio interno.Sono molti anni che frequento questo ristorante tutte le volte che veniamo al lago e consiglio vivamente questo ristorante di pesce cucina mediterranea.Titolare Giovanni è il suo personale molto gentili e professionali e sempre pronti nel servire i piatti di pesce o ha risolvere qualsiasi problema di gusto.Ha anche un ottimo piazzaiolo di cui fa delle ottime pizze venire qui e’ sempre un piacere.Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo lo consiglio vivamente saluti Domenico.

15/05/2025: Esperienza negativa, entrati subito ci han comunicato che se volevamo il menù del giorno avremmo dovuto guardare i piatti esposti e ricoperti di pellicola (eh no non erano di bellezza) preso un primo e un secondo a prezzi folli. Il primo era assolutamente fuori prezzo visto il quantitativo e la qualità (prodotti pronti) il secondo fuori da ogni logica per qualità prezzo 18€ una cotoletta di vitello senza contorno che puzzava di vecchio. Aggiungiamo anche il cestello dei fritti direttamente a contatto con il legno del tavolo e dimentichiamo sto locale. Peccato una volta era buono
