08/07/2025: The restaurant looks promising, with a beautiful dining room and a traditional atmosphere. We booked for dinner, and when we arrived, it was very quiet. We were waiting for the menu to choose, but the waitress came over and told us the dishes out loud, without mentioning any prices and without much enthusiasm. I had to ask questions to understand how the dishes were cooked. At the next table (occupied by locals), they offered baked vegetables that we hadn't mentioned, but which I would have greatly appreciated. The fries were brought 20 minutes before the fish... when the grilled meat arrived, the disappointment was evident in our eyes, both at the presentation and the quantity. At that point, we were just hoping for no surprises with the bill, and I must say that the food was average (€18 for the grilled meat, €15 for the main course), but the €3 cover charge per person that wasn't mentioned, along with the drinks, definitely increased the bill. Guests should be able to choose based on price; it's not fair to not present anything in writing (and I don't think it's legal, either). It's a shame, places like this could be much more valuable than they are.

11/08/2025: Disappointed. The server took advantage of the fact that we were foreigners to add extra sides without telling us that we would have to pay extra. As a result, we paid €55 for two (just the dishes) and it was greasy, tasteless, not great...

16/08/2025: Poor housekeeping, trash left by previous guests, dust, spiders, and cobwebs, and we're talking about a suite. It's supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but you'd never know it; the wallpaper is falling apart, everything is old and worn. The door to the room opens like a charm even though it's supposed to be locked; anyone could easily walk in. From the rooms that are supposedly soundproofed, you can hear everything; the noise of tables being moved until midnight, probably because they were cleaning up the restaurant for the next day. The restaurant is one of the very few redeeming features; the service and quality are good. Yes, the price is affordable, but you get the quality you pay for, maybe even less. I would have given one star; I'm giving two just for the service.

03/08/2025: Good value for money. Good restaurant. There's a lounge with slot machines. Location: Located near the Milan-Genoa/Genoa-Milan highway exit. There's a McDonald's near the hotel (accessible by car). The center of Binasco is also close by (also accessible by car). There are bars, restaurants with reasonably priced lunch menus, a pub, a bakery, a butcher, a newsstand, a hardware store, a greengrocer, a mini market, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, and many other services. The shower door barely opens enough to get in because the shower door touches the toilet. The room has a television, air conditioning, a radio, a small refrigerator, a large wardrobe, and a double bed. The radio didn't work, or I couldn't turn it on. The floor is carpeted. The room doesn't have a balcony.

The kebab itself is really tasty, with well-seasoned meat and fresh ingredients, and the fries are crispy and flavorful — a perfect combo. The location is cozy and comfortable, ideal for a quick meal or a relaxed bite with friends. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience even better. Prices are fair: the full kebab menu, including fries and a drink, is around 10€, which is totally reasonable for the quality you get.

11/08/2025: Pizza buona una non basta perché troppo sottile ma assolutamente ingiustificato il prezzo, locale anni 70 tenuto senza nessuna cura molto rumoroso e con un sacco di mosche che girano, tavoli troppo attaccati l’uno all'altro, servizio gradevole, non credo ci ritorneremo più!

09/08/2025: Ci ho pensato a lungo prima di scrivere questa recensione, perché Le Specialità per anni è stato uno di quei posti “di fiducia”: pizza superlativa, servizio attento, prezzi alti ma giustificati dalla qualità. E poi… puff, come in certe storie d’amore che finiscono male senza nemmeno una litigata. Siamo tornati due volte, e per due volte si è ripetuto lo stesso copione: arrivi, ti siedi, e poi vieni lasciato a contemplare il vuoto cosmico. Dopo un po’, qualcuno si ricorda che esisti e ti porta il menù. Niente pane (solo quattro olive — buone, per carità, ma non proprio un antipasto e comunque le si paga!), e bisogna sollecitare. Poi il momento clou: arriva il filetto al pepe… ma la mia pizza? Scomparsa. “Mangia il filetto che si raffredda”, dico. Lui finisce. La pizza ancora non si vede. Quando finalmente compare, lo fa con l’entusiasmo di un lunedì mattina, senza scuse, senza spiegazioni. La pizza è ancora buona, sì. Ma senza il contorno di attenzione e cura, resta solo una pizza buona… e Milano, di pizzerie buone, ne ha tante. Conclusione: Le Specialità non è più quello di una volta. Chi vuole solo mangiare ‘bene’ può ancora tentare, ma se cercate anche un briciolo di calore umano, un luogo del cuore dove mangiare bene e stare in un ambiente accogliente e professionale forse conviene guardare altrove.

03/08/2025: Pizzeria under new Egyptian management. I tried the pizza, good dough and very well topped. And the kebab platter was also very generous and tasty. The friendly and welcoming owner even made me some warm bread on the spot! Margherita Number One!

30/07/2025: The pizzeria offers a variety of menus and interesting fried food options at very competitive prices. The round pizza or pizza by the slice is good by Sesto standards. The place is very simple, and the menu and prices make it suitable for young people too. Overall, a good experience.
