Service by very friendly and helpful staff. Simple, rustic, and pleasant atmosphere! Parking in front of the restaurant.

I've been here before, several times. The pizza chef knows how to make a light pizza, just the way I like it: it's not gourmet, it's not cheap (mine was €15), somewhere in between. I've recommended it to several people, and last night I was with a couple of friends and my wife. My wife, who can't even touch certain types of cured meats, always orders a calzone: a little mozzarella and prosciutto. Always: here and elsewhere, every time we go to a pizzeria. The waiter, a young man perhaps a little too young, takes the order. The pizzas and other dishes arrive after a short wait. All good, except that my wife's calzone contained some spicy salami. Maybe there's a calzone with spicy salami, and it's the norm somewhere: not in Milan, and especially not when you've been asked for a calzone with ham and a little mozzarella. My wife immediately feels sick, but let's avoid any drama or unnecessary tantrums: I call the guy and ask why there was spicy salami in my wife's calzone. The responses were, in order: - You asked for a calzone with salami - - I can't know the lady's allergies - - Come here and talk to these people yourself - turning to the pizza chef. Let's think about it. It's clear that someone who knows they can't eat something certainly can't order it. The words "salami" and "spicy" were never mentioned by my wife. My wife's allergies are my wife's problem, of course: but we didn't show up with a medical record, we simply said "calzone with ham and a little mozzarella." Six words. And there were four of us: we all heard the same thing. Ignoring a customer, calling them stupid ("you come here...") and even waving them off is the worst thing a waiter or anyone else can do. But this guy is a kid, and we let it slide. My wife gets worse. We leave in a hurry, leaving €50 for our bill with our friends. A hellish night. 24 hours have passed, and she's having rashes everywhere, but we were lucky: no colic. The restaurant owners were luckier: I could have hospitalized her, had lawyers write a lawsuit... but then I thought they could close the place for weeks, and in the end, why make a big deal out of a bad convenience and an immature kid? Well, it was a mistake. The grandfather, who also owns the place, discounted my wife's pizza (€11), but made her pay for the cover charge and still water. I repeat: he agreed to pay for the water and cover charge for a customer who was sick due to a mistake by the restaurant. Zero empathy and too much arrogance: class resides elsewhere, and style, any style, is missing. But such obsession with money should always be rewarded. Let's sum it up. The pizza is fine, just that. The service is clearly poor: the customer is an idiot and should be fleeced anyway, even if it's just a few euros. You decide whether it's worth it or not: I give it one star and never more. And then, as far as I'm concerned, such pettiness and the disdain shown toward my wife's discomfort deserved something better. So I asked the few who frequented it not to go there anymore. I WhatsApped this story to the hundreds of people on my list in the area, and this review will also go online on other sites. I'm happy with that.

05/03/2025: Gentilissimi e pizza buonissima (uno delle migliori pizze al trancio di Milano). Quando passo in zona mi fermo sempre. Chiedete il dolce alla fine, molte volte sono fatti in casa e sono buonissimi!

09/07/2025: This takeaway pizza place is surprisingly good. You can order online but as it's near my friend's house, we just walked there and ordered inside. The owner said we could have two free soft drinks with our pizzas - so for something like €14 we got two very nice pizzas and two cans of Coke. Amazing. I hope TikTok doesn't find out about this place, or else we'll never be able to get in again.
