04/05/2026: ---- A Million Reasons Not to Choose Them ---- We had a scandalous experience at the Terraferma restaurant, Via Melchiorre Gioia, 63, Milan. We've been using The Fork for over ten years when traveling, dining out everywhere, and have never been treated with such contempt. After booking with a 50% discount through The Fork, the staff refused to apply the discount to the dishes we had chosen. We selected other dishes out of courtesy, but the disappointment was complete: rubbery veal escalope, tasteless pasta, nothing like the price. When we went to pay, and asked for an explanation and to understand why they wouldn't apply the 50% discount to the dishes we had originally chosen, the waiter became verbally aggressive, telling us to leave the establishment ("get out"), and positioning himself in front of us in an intimidating manner. We reminded them that, during the reservation process, it had never been specified that certain dishes were excluded, only that they were not included in the set menu and drinks were not. But why not clearly state this on TheFork? And it was then, at the time of payment, that they became condescending, refusing any discussion. The person acting as manager (the waitresses had pointed him out to me) couldn't speak properly and only made noises like "sutttt." I was very surprised by his behavior and especially his incompetence. To top off this deplorable experience, after leaving the restaurant, the owner reported to TheFork that we hadn't honored the reservation, which I know to be intentional to prevent any reviews. I will not remain silent: I will report this abuse to TheFork and all restaurant websites as well as on social media, because it is precisely due to such dishonest and unprofessional practices that tourists are being ripped off. Looking closely at the Google reviews, I realized that several tourists had experienced this terrible ordeal. It's very sad the image this restaurant owner has given...

01/05/2026: Their spaghetti with mussels and clams is a must try!!! The noodle texture is perfect 🤌🏻. The service is really good and they serve the food quickly. The lemon sorbet was also really yummy and the texture and taste were on point.

18/12/2025: Stopped in for lunch (around 1:30 PM) for a quick bite. I ordered a Margherita slice, and it was heated up and served within minutes. Very, very good! A chat with the kind and friendly owners. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by.

30/01/2026: Nico's is a guarantee. Delicious pizza, light dough, and ingredients you can really taste, not the usual stuff thrown in. Every bite is a delight. The place is cozy and comfortable, but the real highlight is the staff: Nico, kind and friendly, and his wife Katiuscia, always available, smiling, and super welcoming. Fair prices and top-notch quality. If you've never been, you're doing it wrong. Highly recommended! 🍕🔥

09/03/2026: I tried the Apulian-style fried panzerotti this evening, and I have to say, as a native of Puglia, it was delicious, made with care, just like your mother would make at home. Wonderful! Congratulations! I stop by often, and it's always a great stop for a quick lunch at any time. I recommend panzerotti made the way our grandmothers used to make them.

26/05/2026: There are no words to describe the deliciousness of this pizza. It's the typical Milanese pizza by the slice, and you can choose between a regular or large portion. Personally, I find the regular portion more than satisfying, but my friends prefer the large portion. The prices, in any case, are very fair. I absolutely recommend choosing a pizza with sliced ​​meats, because they're truly excellent quality. I always order the one with char-grilled ham from Salumeria Il Borgo: probably the best cooked ham I've ever eaten. They also always have very interesting off-menu pizzas. The staff is friendly. The only downside is that there are two time slots for reservations: if I'm not mistaken, the first is from 7:30 PM and the second from 9:00 PM. A couple of times, choosing the 9:00 PM slot, we encountered rather significant delays, and the space to wait for a table was limited. Once, we found ourselves waiting on the sidewalk on one of Milan's coldest evenings, so it wasn't the best. It must be said, however, that the staff later offered us an appetizer and a glass of prosecco as an apology. Since then, to be more flexible with our timetable, we prefer to book early. In any case, I highly recommend trying it.

11/05/2026: The pizzas are delicious and really well prepared. It's a shame they don't know how to handle online orders. They accept orders and then cancel them when the delivery driver arrives at the restaurant to pick them up. It's happened to me three times already. I won't order again.

25/04/2026: I randomly chose a pizzeria on my way home, and I think I stumbled upon the best in the area! The pizzas are delicious, and the waitress with glasses is incredibly kind to us, even though we have difficulty understanding her, and to my dog ​​too 😍

Outside, under the pergola, with a small table, or a corner for two inside beneath a dreamy vaulted ceiling. Delicious lactose-free almond paste pastries are available. The staff is truly friendly, and the place is impeccably clean and tidy.

23/05/2026: Italian food lovers probably won't enjoy it here - they didn't serve pizza, even though it was on the menu. The gnocchi weren't exceptional, but the price-performance ratio is decent considering we were so close to the city center. The staff was very nice. Although some of them didn't speak much English (and we don't speak very good Italian), they tried to communicate with us and we even got a free pineapple after the meal :)

24/05/2026: We've been here twice. The first evening it was very crowded, the waitress was unfortunately very unfriendly, and we felt like we were bothering her. The food took longer than expected (every table was taken), but it was very good. Pasta and pizza were both excellent. The coffee and tiramisu were also good. The second day was more pleasant; the waiter was polite, and the food was good again. A particularly positive aspect was a waiter who is Spanish (Dominican Republic). He was so nice and funny both days. It was only because of him that we even considered visiting the restaurant again. He's a very warm and welcoming person.
