12/10/2025: Came here for lunch on a Sunday. Ordered the pasta with clams and the seafood pasta. Everything was delicious, large portions, only locals in here. Pasta with clams was very good recommend. Also ordered mixed salad which was huge. Right across from a large grocery store. Highly recommend walking here from off the lake. Only minor complaint is that the bread was stale. Prices very reasonable for the quantity and taste.
11/10/2025: Good restaurant, especially the pizza, which is not bad! However, I expected more from a Sicilian owner; the menu could be improved.

07/10/2025: Something beautiful. Such an atmosphere is a treasure. One of the most beautiful places on Lake Como, a must-visit with your loved one.
03/10/2025: Positive: The mini golf course is also okay, and for €5 per adult and €4 for children, it's okay. But that's about all the great things Lido Menaggio has to offer.
Contrary: I can say without exaggeration that the bathing area is an absolute disgrace compared to the entrance prices, bordering on a rip-off. A family of four pays €20 to enter. However, after that, you're only allowed to lie on the lawn. A sun lounger costs an additional €4, and a parasol another €4. You quickly notice that the entire complex is unkempt, and in some places even looks neglected. The toilets aren't cleaned (literally covered in trash), there's no toilet paper, the sand soccer field is a disgrace, with broken glass on the floor and staff walking carelessly past it, and cigarette butts on the lawn. After a power outage lasting almost two hours, the thawed ice cream is resold. Truly disgusting!!! We declined politely.
The other food options are no better. A regular burger costs €6, a sausage in a bun with mustard is sold as a hot dog and costs €5, and a regular-sized portion of fries also costs €5. The prices are outrageous considering what's on offer. The Menaggio Lido seems to want to be a hip place. But it can't. It seems forced and incompetent.
The list of flaws could go on endlessly. In Germany, a lido like this would have to close after one season.
I can think of one good thing, though... The water playground in the lake is great; all the kids who can swim and the adults have fun here, and that was ultimately the only reason we went there three times. Otherwise, you can safely avoid this place. But form your own opinion. Have fun!

16/05/2025: Ci sono stato diverse volte e ogni volta è un'esperienza superlativa. Partiamo dal pane: è croccante fuori e morbido dentro, si sente che è fresco e non la solito panino industriale. La carne è di ottima qualità, mai secca. Hanno una salsa piccante fatta in casa che è una vera delizia per chi ama i sapori decisi, ma anche le salse classiche (yogurt e bianca) sono cremose e gustose, perfette per bilanciare il sapore della carne. Il panino è sempre ben farcito di carne, verdure fresche (insalata croccante, pomodori saporiti, cipolla tagliata finemente).
Anche il personale è sempre gentile e sorridente, il che non guasta mai. L'ambiente è semplice ma pulito e accogliente.Il migliore della zona!

07/10/2025: We ordered a set menu for two (price not displayed), 3 different starters, main courses, and side dishes, including water. When we got to the cashier, we paid about €12 for a starter and €14 for a main course with side dish. I asked why we thought we were paying for a set menu (I don't remember the exact price now, but it's a good deal for workers, around €12-14 maybe, no more). The owner, a bit gruff, told me she ordered a starter and her husband ordered a main course???!!! If we'd known, we'd have ordered the full menus!!! But the food was nothing to write home about.
05/10/2025: We went for dinner on a Saturday evening, booking the same day via the Google form: very convenient and quick.
The atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. We ordered a charcuterie board with gnocco fritto (very good). I chose pizzoccheri, truly excellent, while the others had polenta with mushrooms, also very good...except that one of them found a little "surprise."
We pointed it out, knowing that certain things can happen, but the response was "it's normal, it was probably in the mushrooms." No apology, just a desire to pass it off as normal. Personally, if I had found it on my plate, I wouldn't have been able to continue eating.
Even when it came to the bill, there was no apology or gesture of courtesy, not even a small discount. We were a little disappointed: we didn't want to cause controversy, but a little more attention and sensitivity would have made a difference.
