06/04/2025: If you are not an acquaintance of the owners, rest assured that you will be the last to be served, and even with arrogance..... We entered with a reservation at 1.10pm, ordered in a hurry 5 minutes later. While they were serving the other diners who entered after us, after an hour we asked about our order. Answer: you took the starter so you went back to the queue for the other orders.....ahhhh, like a game of goose 😅. the first course has arrived at 2.05pm, obviously brushed in two seconds, the second arrived at 2.25pm, now everything is more fluid, friends and acquaintances have already arrived. I'm sorry to put such a review because the cuisine deserves it, everything else is relative. I have to give one star otherwise the review won't be published, but believe me for the customer service you deserve a -10000000000. Zero education

15/03/2025: But what a great discovery. Delicious pizza, really like in Naples. Mainly takeaway or home delivery, but organized with some outdoor tables to eat on site like we did. Friendly and sociable owner, final bill in line. See you next time, thanks!!!

01/04/2025: Ho mangiato stasera al Babayaga in compagnia della mia ragazza ed una coppia di amici. La pizza era molto buona e abbiamo potuto bere un bottiglia di vino rosso di ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo! I camerieri molto simpatici ed attenti sul proprio lavoro. Consiglio moltissimo!!

25/03/2025: It's a place where the weather is nice. The downside is that they charge €3 for a cover, and they also charge you for food that's too big for everyone. I don't recommend going right away; there are better places to go. It's better to go if you have no other option.

06/01/2025: Andiamo in questo ristorante da anni ormai, abbiamo sempre apprezzato la qualità del cibo, dalle pizze, ai piatti di cucina ai dolci (gran parte fatti in casa), la gentilezza e cortesia del personale. Per noi è come essere a casa! Davvero consigliato anche per gli ottimi prezzi

23/10/2024: Nous cherchions un restaurant traditionnel avec parking et vue sur le lac, et nous avons trouvé cette pépite dans les hauteurs de Menaggio. Le patron, Umberto, parle un très bon français, il a vécu un temps à Paris, et il s'est occupé de nous comme si nous étions des amis. Nous nous sommes régalés avec des plats traditionnels, des pâtes faites maison (Raviolis aux noix de Saint Jacques et crevettes incroyables) et des pizzas délicieuses, et un excellent amaro digestif offert pour conclure ce vrai moment de convivialité, un de ceux qui vous font forcément aimer l'Italie, merci Umberto et à bientôt!

20/10/2024: Questo posto è perfetto per un pranzo tra amici o in famiglia, personale disponibile e accogliente. Gli sciat e la polenta uncia ottimi e delicati. Pizzoccjeri e risotto al persico sublimi. La tagliata tenerissima. I dolci leggeri e delicati. Il panorama è incantevole, siamo stati a nostro agio mangiando molto bene. Da provare. Isabella

27/02/2025: They brought us a pizza instead of another after a short wait and they didn't bring us a mixed fried dish that they had ordered. Evidently, they were a bit distracted.... They offered us a limoncello but on an empty stomach, maybe not... The piece of pizza we were able to eat was at the same level as the frozen ones in supermarkets, perhaps worse. The fries, mushy. The house wine, which costs the same as a bottle (17 per litre), is like the usual house white wines. Frankly, we don't recommend going there, there are many better places in Porlezza.

26/02/2025: I put 0.. They made 2 errors on one order. Wrong pizza.. It wasn't good, it looks like a frozen pizza from a supermarket... Maybe even worse.. Another forgotten dish!! It's February!!! So I can only accept the error in high season.. I absolutely do not recommend!! In Porlezza there is much better, especially for pizza...

17/02/2025: We enter, it's completely empty. Staff does not greet us, they take a map and show us to our places. We sit down and order some food and drinks. She comes to us when ask what we want she doesn't greet us with good evening. We order 2 cokes, 1 magerita pizza and 1 tuna pizza. First get the cola in cans, which is unprofessional; it is better to put it in a glass bottle. The cutlery was in a bag. The staff was also watching TV with the sound loud. We first got our pizzas, the magerita, which was super tasty, and soon after, the tuna. My father also liked it very much, but it was a pity that there was little tuna on it. The atmosphere was a bit strange because they were watching TV and talking to local people who were also eating there. And dogs were allowed inside, which is also a bit unprofessional. Then she went back to watching TV. And then we left. Went to pay in cash which was a reasonable price. So the conclusion: Staff was not that friendly, the pizza was otherwise good and very large. So definitely recommended at this time because it is not so busy.
