17/11/2025: A big heartfelt thank you to Adriano for helping us recover our beloved pink bear. He found it, arranged registered mail to send it back to us, and patiently answered all our questions during the 3-week wait. His kindness, care, and dedication truly touched us. We are deeply grateful for everything he has done. In addition, the owner, Andre always make us feel welcome throughout our stay. Breakfast and coffee are the best we have tasted in Como.
20/10/2025: The only good thing about this “hotel” is the location. Rooms outdated but okay for the price, however very cold.
On the other hand please avoid this accommodation, the receptionist I assume owner named Silvia wrongfully accused us stealing from the breakfast (muesli bar)😅 then started an argument being quite aggressive and making no solid point which is totally unacceptable as we were paying guests. Only the gentleman at the reception tried to deescalate the situation which made us not to pursue furthermore the situation.
This has made such a bad impact on our trip, she was hitting a tone that was derogatory , was pushing the lines of bullying and was far from professional behavior.

20/09/2025: Simple and delicious. I don't understand the negative reviews about this restaurant. At places like this, ordering simple dishes is more likely to ensure it's freshly prepared. The service is okay.

11/10/2025: We had dinner with our children at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, even to the youngest guests. We truly enjoyed our evening and are very grateful for it!
21/09/2025: We stumbled upon Lido di Sala after wondering around Sala Comacina where we were staying. It's incredibly charming, with covered tables overlooking a scenic cove of water. Luca, our server, was wonderful and personable, and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy, just a well-prepared and very tasty meal. The ossobucco was fabulous, and the vanilla banana liqueur dessert was amazing. Thank you to Luca and staff for a wonderful Sunday dinner!

There was no one to take care of my table; every time I needed something, there was a different person. We had a long wait for dessert.
A gentleman waiter with no patience and no manners.

18/09/2025: A pleasant restaurant with a varied menu that pleases everyone, geared towards families with young children, and a well-stocked playground. There's a man-made lake with tables set up for relaxing. Obviously, with lots of children, it can get chaotic and noisy, but if you're with a family or don't mind the sound of children's happy chatter, it's the perfect place to spend a few happy hours. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone is excellent, from the kitchen to the pizzeria to the dining room. Recommended.

The lasagna arrived frozen inside, hot outside.
The waitress took it upon herself to tip without our permission.
Taking advantage of tourists.
€60 for three people for a bottle of water, two lasagnas, and a pasta dish.
All frozen.
Avoid at all costs! I regret this lunch.
24/09/2025: This was the only pizzeria in the area that was open. Unfortunately, due to the weather, 80% of the restaurants were closed. We had a delicious meal at reasonable prices.

20/10/2025: Excellent pizza. When I asked for a pizza with more meat, it arrived in just a couple of minutes – wow! Low price and a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you so much. If I have the chance to come back, I'll definitely stop by. Have a great time.

Quick and very friendly service.
Extraordinarily low price on the lunch special.
The place is housed in a tiny space: kudos to the two workers for their patience. The few chairs and two tables available outside overlook the street. However, there are small gardens nearby in case you want to eat outside.

30/11/2025: Good evening, I found this place by chance with friends. The service was fast and the waiters were friendly and helpful. The pizzas were very good. We did the pizza tour, and they also included 1-liter soft drinks. Excellent value for money.
Very elegant and spacious atmosphere. The bathroom was large and, above all, clean. Even at the end of the evening.

22/11/2025: We stopped for lunch, there were 2 of us.
We decided to have an appetizer for 2 (cheese and cured meats). Nothing special, but the price?
€20 each!
We left with €78.00 for 2 plates of pappardelle, an appetizer, a bottle of water, and 2 coffees. NOT BAD 🤦♂️
