11/05/2026: Beautiful setting but disastrous food. Tasteless pizza (plastic-like cheese) that seemed frozen. Pasta portion contained a maximum of 10 pasta pieces. Prices are a bit high for the quality. However, a special mention to the Dominican bartender who was very friendly.

05/04/2026: Bad, bad! Today we were a table of 10; it was everyone's first time at this restaurant, and it was disappointing for everyone. The €45 Easter menu was cheap compared to most places. We didn't expect to eat wonderfully, because we know that during the holidays, the food is rarely top-notch, but it wasn't that bad either. The appetizers were paltry, and the first seafood course was supposed to be scialatielli with scampi and swordfish. If there were two pieces of fish, it would have been a lot, but we still had to add pepper and salt to give it more flavor, because it was also bland, clearly due to the lack of ingredients. For the main course, a small piece of sea bass with a few fried potatoes, and for dessert, mascarpone cream with a few pieces of strawberry. I felt like we were at a table of pigs who would eat anything, given the way everything was served, from the quality to the lack of flavor. I wonder where the chef found him; perhaps he needs further training. The cleanliness wasn't top-notch either, as the table was already covered in crumbs and dust as soon as we sat down, glasses hadn't been rinsed properly, and the bathrooms were dirty and smelly. Oh, and I almost forgot, the bathrooms aren't accessible to people with disabilities or mobility issues, as they're located along a flight of stairs. We won't be returning.

14/05/2026: It was incredibly delicious. Everything was delivered quickly, warm, and they didn't skimp on ingredients. They even brought two complimentary shots.

08/05/2026: The pictures in the reviews looked great, but after going there, it was a disaster. The waitress was unhelpful, and as soon as you speak German, you're not served properly. I ordered a mixed grill. Never again! Sorry. Avoid this restaurant.

08/11/2025: ⭐ 1 star – Terrible experience and total lack of professionalism! We've ordered from this pizzeria several times and they've always been late, but this time they went beyond the pale. We called to order takeout pizzas: everything was fine, they told us to wait. After 40 minutes, we called back to find out the status of the order and they hung up on us. We tried again on another number, they answered as if nothing had happened and told us they'd be arriving in 15 minutes. Half an hour passed, still nothing. We showed up in person and discovered they hadn't even started preparing the pizzas! Moral of the story: they left us without food without warning, and with truly unprofessional attitude, we went ourselves. They told us they were closing, and in the end, they actually prepared our order and gave us a free Coke. Too bad, because a courtesy call would have been enough to let them know about the problem. I hope we never have an experience like that again.

15/04/2026: AWFUL. A complete rip-off. As soon as we arrived, they told us they didn't make pizza, even though more than half the menu consisted of pizzas. The menu doesn't mention anywhere that they charge a cover fee. We ordered a Coca-Cola and they brought a glass, not a bottle; we ordered a bottle of water and they brought a refilled bottle. The spaghetti was poorly arranged on a plate. The meat was passable, but the portion was ridiculously small. The potatoes were frozen and fried. When we opened the envelope containing the fork, knife, and napkin, the napkin was stained with wine. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I consider the Coca-Cola and water charge a RIP-OFF, and the fact that they don't mention the cover fee is outrageous. I've attached a photo of the food price.

We learned this from a very rude lady who, after looking us up and down with a hostile expression, bluntly told us IT WAS CLOSED! Actually, it might have been better to arrive 7 minutes early, because I wouldn't have wanted to be served in such an atmosphere. 11/10/2025: We had dinner with our children at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, even to the youngest guests. We truly enjoyed our evening and are very grateful for it!

21/09/2025: We stumbled upon Lido di Sala after wondering around Sala Comacina where we were staying. It's incredibly charming, with covered tables overlooking a scenic cove of water. Luca, our server, was wonderful and personable, and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy, just a well-prepared and very tasty meal. The ossobucco was fabulous, and the vanilla banana liqueur dessert was amazing. Thank you to Luca and staff for a wonderful Sunday dinner!
