29/04/2025: Simply thrilled! We stopped along the road that took us to Como, hungry as hell. We were welcomed by a fantastic, kind and smiling girl who advised us to let the dog in too, but given the not high temperatures of the period, we left him in the car. Very quiet place, welcoming I would even venture relaxing. As for the food, I can only say "excellent", generous and well-prepared portions at prices to suit all wallets. Highly recommended to everyone! I will return and tell everyone I know who passes by that street to stop and have the same experience

22/04/2025: Seit Jahren besuchen wir immer wieder die Pizzeria Colibri, wenn wir zu einem Kurzaufenthalt in der Region Comer See sind. Auch diesmal wurden wir mit sher gutem Essen und Freundlichkeit bestens bewirtet. Wieder einmal ein Höhepunkt - die Penne Arrabiata. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Stop.

20/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua al Colibrì. Cibo molto buono con delle fantastiche penne saporite e una buonissima pizza Margherita. Personale come sempre molto simpatico e accogliente. Noi andiamo al Colibrì durante le festività da 5 anni circa, ed è stato sempre il nostro punto di riferimento per Natale, Pasqua... Ci vediamo presto!

03/05/2025: I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews? When I entered the restaurant, I noticed there are many families and more percentage are old people, I guess they won't know how to write a good review😁 The owner and chef are very kind and polite, they always smile to you, service is very efficient. This is an restaurant opened since 1986, but inside is renovated, ambience is comfortable and extremely clean, this is my first time not scared my bag and clothes will be dirty if they fall on the ground. Pizza is very delicious, they use good quality cheese and ingredients, the pizza dough is still crunchy and soft after it is cooling down. They offer the liquors for free, they are very good too. The price is very reasonable, I don't understand why there are still people complaining the price is high???? In Como you can find a normal pizza over 14 euro everywhere, but their pizza average is 8-11 ! I will go back definitely and introduce it to my friends. --------------------------- This is my second time going back to this restaurant after 3 years. Everything is the same as my first time, extreme clean, very friendly people, and the best pizza in Como. The tomatoes sauce is very fresh made and not too salty, cheese is very good quality. We also order the pasta, it amazed us, very flavourful and delicious. You can not find so reasonable price in Como center now a day. I will come back soon.

21/04/2025: Shameful! We sat outside, and were told that they were full and that they wouldn't be around to accept any more customers. Nothing was reserved outside. We left and then I saw that they had seated people, tourists probably! Then, when you close down due to lack of professionalism, make sure you don't enter Switzerland at a low cost! If you can't handle a full restaurant, change jobs. Again, poor management and little respect. Italy equals hospitality, once perhaps! Go and eat away from the tourist places, they will only make fun of you! Avoid if you are not a tourist! Reading your response, I add and correct, people just sat down, they were not accompanied to the table. Nothing.. my observation is legitimate and not at all out of place. Easter Monday or not... there was room for two people. We sat in the next room, so I saw everything.

21/04/2025: Ci siamo stati il 21.04.2025 per pranzo (Pasquetta), per un pranzo in famiglia (7 persone) Locale di fronte al lago a Porlezza, ben tenuto e con tanti posti, sia interni che esterni. Consigliato riservare. Personale accogliente, gentile e sorridente. Bravo ad Angelo e a tutto il suo staff per la simpatia. Appena arrivati ci fanno accomodare al nostro tavolo. Abbiamo ordinato diversi piatti, tagliere di salumi, spaghetti alle vongole, fritto misto di mare, tris di spiedini di pesce, risotto ai calamari. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino rosè, molto buono e fresco che ben si abbinava a tutti i piatti. Tutti i piatti buoni, materie prime di ottimo livello, ben cotte e buona presentazione. Abbiamo poi preso caffè e dessert, frutti di bosco e gelato (buono). Servizio buono, attesa un pò lunga tra i piatti, ma suppongo sia dovuto al fatto che il locale fosse molto affollato per la festività. Prezzo totale 312 Euro, che per quanto proposto lo trovo corretto. Ci torneremo di sicuro, magari in una giornata meno affollata. Consigliato.

18/05/2025: Excellent pizzas and more than good prices. The parking lot is large and available. Very kind, prepared and friendly staff. The only flaw of the evening: Small bottles of water so you have to order them often and really bad coffee, it tasted burnt (even though they remade it) very dark, without foam. Maybe the machine needs to be changed/cleaned thoroughly.

11/05/2025: I went with my family to dinner at this little place recommended by friends. Delicious, rich pizza, excellent ingredients, truly super. Impeccable service, fast and very friendly. Informal environment. Honest prices. I will return to try other dishes

14/04/2025: Pizza FAILED!!!!! Tasteless dough, "silly" tomato, the ingredients could be seen with a magnifying glass, but the truly shameful thing was that they served us a calzone that was practically broken with a shovel and therefore 2 cm thick. It can happen that you break a calzone, but how dare you serve it to the diner like that??? Even the waiter was embarrassed.... obviously it was returned to the sender. As a pizzeria you are worth very little, for the place it is, a real disappointment.

06/04/2025: Good pizza with quality ingredients. The gluten-free pizza is very good, but I recommend always reporting if you have celiac disease because it is cooked in the dedicated oven. Gluten-free beers are also available. Clean place, excellent service.

14/05/2025: An unforgettable taste experience! We discovered a truly exceptional seafood restaurant: abundant dishes, very fresh ingredients and authentic seafood flavours. Mussels, clams, grilled prawns and mixed fried fish: each course is a delight! All accompanied by an excellent quality-price ratio that is truly unbeatable. Absolutely recommended for seafood lovers!

07/05/2025: Nice and elegant place, the owner is up to par. Negative notes, the focaccia cannot be served lukewarm, a mistake repeated with the starter. Orecchiette full of oil. Industrial sweets. The inexperienced waitress gets annoyed when she has to repeat, not realizing that two guests are almost deaf (you can also tell from their language). Potential. Not enough value for money.
