16/02/2026: I went for lunch on Friday at noon, and I have to say it's a very basic place. We waited about 10 minutes for a table (when we went into the dining room, there were at least 10 seats available, so I didn't understand the wait... Hmm...). We ordered a set menu and a pizza. The pizza arrived fairly quickly, but my first course still hadn't arrived after almost half an hour. The waitress came by and asked if I was waiting for the second course. I told her I was still waiting for the first course. The waitress, who was nice, apologized, saying they'd forgotten my first course! After 5 minutes, it arrived, and the second course soon after. The food was average for a typical midday working-class restaurant. Not terrible, but not exceptional either. I don't think I'd want to go back.

05/01/2026: Never was a name more appropriate. If you love bold, authentic flavors, this is the place to be. The base, crunchy around the edges and soft in the center, with a subtle cheese and tomato base, frames the distinct, authentic ingredients that are instantly recognizable. 🫶🏻🍕

15/11/2025: A welcoming place with oak wood from the mansion, delicious pizzas, and a wood-fired oven with a vintage touch of yesteryear. Superb and fast service. We'll be back often.

09/06/2025: Purtroppo questa volta non sono stata molto soddisfatta. Il cibo è ottimo e il servizio pure. È successo anche altre volte che l' ambiente fosse eccessivamente freddo ma stavolta forse un po' troppo. Una persona è stata male per colpa dell' aria condizionata. Ho fatto notare più volte quanto sia sgradevole mangiare col freddo, mi è stato detto che il titolare vuole questo...dovrebbe ascoltare i clienti. 26° è una temperatura ideale e non fa star male né quando si entra men che meno quando si esce e fuori ce ne sono 34 e oltre...

08/02/2026: We ordered the grilled meat, other cuts of meat, and finally dessert; everything was top-notch. The staff is professional and helpful, and the atmosphere is rustic and in keeping with the mountain setting. I recommend it for a pleasant evening with friends or a romantic dinner for two.

The other problem was the pizza: I asked for it to be white twice in a row, but it arrived red twice (the first time I closed one eye and didn't say anything, but the second time, honestly, I didn't). It's a shame because the pizza itself is good.

05/03/2026: I just left this horrible place with great relief. Zero welcome, I think it was a mother and daughter. The place was deserted, the daily menu had very few options, and the appetizer consisted of supermarket-quality cured meats (the packaged ones). The roast was dry and tough, and if I hadn't insisted on polenta, I don't know how they would have served it. Hot sparkling water and rubbery bread. Not a smile or a word of kindness, a truly awful lunch. I think the view must have been pleasant, but with the thick fog, you couldn't see a thing. A day to forget.

01/10/2025: I went to Pastimbaldo for a business lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, the staff friendly and very quick with their service, a crucial quality when you're short on time during a lunch break. I started with the vegetarian meatballs with baked potatoes: a simple dish but prepared with great care. The meatballs were soft, flavorful, and well-seasoned, while the potatoes were cooked to perfection, golden on the outside and soft on the inside. For first courses, I tried two house specialties. The spaghetti cacio e pepe was creamy, with just the right balance between the saltiness of the pecorino and the bold note of the pepper, a traditional dish masterfully executed. The real surprise, however, was the pasta alla Pastimbaldo, an original and rich combination of ragù, cream, and pesto: three elements that together create a unique, enveloping, and surprisingly harmonious flavor. A dish that alone is worth the visit. Excellent value, generous portions, and fresh ingredients that truly make the difference. A perfect place for both a business lunch and a more relaxed break in good company. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well without sacrificing speedy service.

06/01/2026: The takeaway pizza was very hard to cut and also to chew, I don't know if it was because it was very cold yesterday (the transport?) or if it was just the dough/cooking process.

12/10/2025: The food is good, the pizzas are delicious and the place is small but there is take-out.

07/01/2026: Shameful! Not once have they delivered on time, and I'm not talking about minutes, but out of three times, the delays were 20, 35, and 40 minutes. The only thing that saves them is the pizza, which is good, but the delivery management is truly embarrassing. Oh, and when you call to ask what happened to your pizzas (with good manners), they reply annoyedly, "They left 10 minutes ago." I assume I'm going to burn myself eating it at this point.

10/12/2025: Good, easy-to-digest pizza. It's a takeaway pizzeria, and the atmosphere is usually spartan.
