08/01/2026: Baracca, a very fitting name. I've never had such a bad lunch in my entire life. The meat was almost impossible to chew and had a strange smell. The meringue was supposedly homemade. It looked like frozen ice cream to me. For €20, I wasn't expecting much, but not that little either. Be careful!!

08/01/2026: Very cheap but also very unpleasant. Fusilli with porcini mushrooms and speck, not a single mushroom on the plate. The Bergamo-style involtini were good, but it's a shame there were only two of them, and they were very small. I won't be back!

22/02/2026: I stayed this weekend at the end of February, taking advantage of the gorgeous weather for hiking and taking advantage of a Smartbox worth €60. I'm writing this review because I don't understand the frustrated people complaining about the €20 supplement per person: just do the math and you'll see that a property like this charges at least €80-90 per night for the overnight stay alone. I think it's pretty pointless to argue about the supplement, especially since otherwise, instead of giving them away, you could just buy Smartboxes for yourself instead of booking on Booking.com or other portals. We were offered an additional €66 per couple for a full dinner and breakfast, but we had already made other plans for the weekend and didn't take advantage of it. The menu, the photos, and the aromas were very inviting, however, and the fact that the room was almost full for both dinner and breakfast confirms this, thanks in part to the central location in Selvino, halfway along the main street.

25/01/2026: A unique location, in my opinion fascinating; places like this are ideal for spending an evening with friends. Excellent food, beautifully prepared, and above all, generously portioned. As someone who struggles with fried foods because they're often poorly prepared, I found their fried food phenomenal and beautifully executed. I absolutely recommend the place, and I'll definitely be back.

25/01/2026: Good pizza, cheap, friendly and helpful staff. As for delays, they're usually a quarter of an hour, but obviously, weekends are busy, and that can happen.

26/12/2025: I love this place!! I eat it always when I come here. They have a gluten free option which they bake in the oven on a special aluminium deck.

08/03/2026: We ate very well, the portions were super generous and the service was always available even though we arrived at 2 PM! Highly recommended.

09/02/2026: We booked for 25 people well in advance, but unfortunately the restaurant failed the large group test. It's a real shame, because the quality is there: the appetizer was excellent and the casoncelli were really well-made. The braised meat would have been good too, if it weren't for the final management. ​The sore points began with the service: extremely slow and completely uncoordinated. When we tried to point this out, the owner (who was waiting tables) took offense, responding in an irritated and unprofessional manner. ​The kitchen management was equally lacking: ​The bread ran out almost immediately and was never replaced. ​The final portions were unsatisfactory: the last portions of braised meat were clearly scraped out of the pan, scant, and with a strong burnt aftertaste. ​Dessert and coffee: the house tiramisu wasn't a real tiramisu (just cream and zabaglione, no mascarpone), and the coffee was honestly terrible. In short: while some dishes are worth it, the owner's inability to handle large numbers and his unwelcoming attitude make the experience unrepeatable. We won't be returning. Response to the owner on 02/09/25 I completely understand the inconvenience you may have experienced, but this isn't the first time our group has found themselves dining out, and we've never received such treatment. Although we were one person fewer than booked (and not as you said), we believe that managing a large group should be part of a restaurant's professionalism, with all the inconveniences that entails. I'm aware of one person who didn't pay (and I disagreed); the bill was €37.00. It is unacceptable that the second courses are served before the first courses and, even more so, that our complaints were met with polemical responses rather than with a spirit of service, and the tone he used in replying to me further demonstrates this.

12/08/2025: Pizzeria San Martino, a few steps from my house and somewhat hidden, is nevertheless well-known in the area. In the first two or three years after opening, it stood out for its attention to every detail: a tidy place, impeccable service, and consistently excellent pizza. After a few years, the quality of the pizza has remained extremely high—truly among the best—as has the service and the welcoming, pleasant atmosphere inside. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the outdoor area. During nights and on days when it's closed, the terrace becomes a place of passage and rest for people who leave it in a shabby condition, significantly degrading its overall image. This unfortunately takes away from the place's charm, to the point that, even when it reopens at the end of the summer, those who pass by during these weeks are unlikely to have a good impression. My advice is to consider permanently removing the terrace and replacing it with a well-kept and striking entrance: two tall, elegant candles, or two slender, well-kept flowerpots, perhaps with a nice rug at the entrance. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, but the current exterior risks putting off customers. It would be a shame not to take action, given the excellent quality of the cuisine.

19/02/2026: The pizza was quite good. It looked a little smaller than average, but it was still filling. If it had been a little bigger or with a little more toppings, I would have been more satisfied. The gluten-free pizza was different from the usual ones you find; very thin, but still enjoyable. The prices were average; there are slightly cheaper pizzerias in the area.
