19/11/2025: I often go to Salamensa for breakfast, and over the past few months, I have to admit that my experience has become increasingly disappointing. The format is different from the typical cafeteria: it's a self-service cafeteria, so there's a high turnover of customers. For this very reason, however, I expect greater attention to cleanliness. I often find dirty tables and floors covered in crumbs, sugar, and other debris, with no one consistently cleaning up. Considering that the prices are the same as traditional table service, I'd expect at least an equivalent level of care. Another critical point for me is the wait: on average, it takes at least 20 minutes to line up just to get a tray and sit down. There are more people serving—someone handling the pastries, some at the cash register, some overseeing the savory portion—but in the cafeteria, where the slowest work takes place (coffee, cappuccino, latte, etc.), there's almost always only one person. With a long line, this inevitably slows everything down. Furthermore, the coffee machine is quite dated: today, there are much faster and more efficient solutions without compromising quality. When Cristina is there, the situation improves significantly, but I still think that a place of this caliber deserves more careful management of flow and service. I'm surprised that Mino, whom I consider an expert in the field, doesn't grasp these aspects: it would be enough to visit the place during peak hours, observe and listen to customers queuing or seated. Lately, it also seems to me that the quality of the pastries and drinks has changed a bit: perhaps it's simply my palate, but I perceive a less convincing taste than in the past. 04/11/2025: This review covers the hotel and restaurant. As for the hotel, everything was great. They were very accommodating with many of our special requests. The view and staff are fantastic. I can only say I recommend it. As for the restaurants, we tried many of the options there and everything was delicious, so I can recommend it as well.

20/10/2025: A terrible experience. I'm reluctant to leave a review like that, but I don't like being made fun of. More than an hour's wait for a pizza in a room with less than 10 people. After a couple of requests, a further wait, and an unexpected mockery from a waitress who was probably new to the experience, a prepackaged and raw pizza arrived. We got up and left, paying only for drinks and a cover charge. (And it really takes a lot for me to do something like that.) Maybe this will help the restaurant manager understand that they can definitely do better. Luckily, a little further on, we found a decent restaurant.

20/11/2025: I ate well. This place made me feel at home. The portions are more than decent (they even offered us a welcome plate of bruschetta), the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Good value.

27/10/2025: Pizzeria Marina is a welcoming and simple place, recently renovated. We tried the full à la carte menu. The food was very good, all seafood, and the wine list was good. The only flaws that detract from the review are the tables being too close together and the strong cooking smell that lingers after you leave. The staff is friendly, but since I'm a foreigner, they struggle to understand commands; you have to repeat them and make sure they understand! If I was helpful, follow me and leave a like! 👍🏼☺

07/12/2025: I was in Busto Arsizio for an event held in the squares near the restaurant, and four of us stopped for dinner at this place. The atmosphere was very refined, with welcoming, warm colors and materials. We were seated right away, having reserved a table. I always recommend doing so, as I've noticed a good turnover at the tables. The pizza tasted great, with various types of dough and high-quality, carefully selected ingredients. A vast selection of beers. Excellent, attentive, and professional service. A plus was also the owner, Laura, who was very friendly, came to our table, introduced herself, and exchanged a few jokes and smiles with us. I don't know how much it cost because I didn't pay, but the prices aren't excessive. Congratulations again.
