Very well-kept and warm environment, excellent pizza, excellent place for celiacs

The thick pizza is delicious. The pizzoccheri are also delicious. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming. The staff is super friendly. We'll be back!

We went there for dinner. Very elegant atmosphere. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant/pizzeria in Selvino. Excellent pizza by the slice with various toppings. Excellent pizzoccheri. Good burgers, as well as fries. Excellent tiramisu. It's a bit of a walk from the center, but it's worth driving or taking a short walk. Very good. Friendly and sociable staff. Excellent service and cooking. Parking outside is perhaps limited, the only downside.

A day trip out of town, lunch at this fantastic restaurant. Welcoming, very friendly service. The pasta e fagioli and pizzoccheri were both superb, and my daughter's gluten-free pizza was exceptional! We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Update 2026 After years, despite no longer eating at restaurants and instead limiting myself to takeout, I feel compelled to raise the rating of this review. Although the experience was among the least pleasant I can remember, it contrasts with the general kindness I've experienced on other occasions (although, admittedly, only with takeout). Old review: 1/5 Embarrassing... a dinner to forget... We had to go to the restaurant in person to make a reservation because they weren't answering the phone or WhatsApp. Our appointment was for 9:00 (second sitting). We showed up 20 minutes late, and despite there being several empty tables, we were greeted with a loud and rude "Ooh, they're here." They seated us after a 5-minute wait at the entrance, and when it was time to order, they told us they were out of pizzas... At one pizzeria, they didn't have 4 doughs for a RESERVED table because there was a lot of takeout... so they invited us to look at the rest of the menu too... Miraculously, they finally had some gluten-free dough, so they made us order quickly because they might run out of those too (?!). In the end, they turned out to be truly low quality, a tasteless sponge covered in tomato and mozzarella... nothing like the real pizza at Ruota. I feel very sorry for the waiters, who were polite and at least seemingly sorry, but it's RIDICULOUS to book a table at a pizzeria and find yourself without any pizzas. The restaurant management is obviously only interested in selling everything they can and saying goodbye. I'm from Selvino, but after the embarrassment I made with my dinner guests, I will never take anyone to eat at this restaurant again, and I will strongly advise against it because their interest isn't in providing quality service, but only in selling to the first person who comes along. Shameful!

A pleasant surprise! We'd never been there before, but the dishes offered made the Ruota definitely become a regular stop. *5 stars aren't enough, I won't add anything else*
