08/05/2026: Takeaway pizza delivered to my home in a 5 minute walk. I opened the box and it was already cut, as if someone was about to eat it.... It was immediately brought back.... I'm not asking for much, but at least an apology... it seemed the least I could do.

14/01/2026: A magical place in all seasons, snowy, sunny, or on cool summer evenings. The pizza is always excellent, but you're also welcome to pop in for breakfast, a platter of cold cuts, or a hot chocolate in the afternoon. Clean and welcoming.

05/06/2026: Pizzeria La Meridionale is a little gem with delightful and helpful staff, excellent service, and top-quality food. The owner and his team are truly fantastic and go the extra mile to accommodate every need and request. The delivery service is impeccable and punctual, with the pizza always hot and fragrant, as well as simply delicious (I've tried several different versions and in different flavors), as is everything else on the menu. I highly recommend this place, a real A+!

02/06/2026: Casoncelli reign supreme in this place where time seems to have stood still in the legendary 1980s. We've traveled extensively throughout the Seriana Valley, often stopping to eat here and there, and we agree that the best casoncelli, strictly handmade, in the valley are found here. Congratulations, truly!!! The rustic dough and exceptional filling make 5 stars seem too few (unfortunately, more cannot be awarded).

01/06/2026: Unfortunately, I'm celiac, so I only eat the cockerel, a good quarter of a glass of wine, and then I'm off, but focusing on the food is reductive in my opinion (obviously, you go there to eat). But inside, there are objects that would tempt you for cash or trash... incredibly interesting memorabilia. If you enter, look around, in the corners, etc., etc. Everyone is very kind! Carlo!

13/04/2026: A perfect stopover near Milan – warmth you can feel! After a very long drive from Germany, we just wanted to rest for a few hours before continuing our journey. Since booking online at short notice was difficult, I called the hotel directly. The owner himself – a very friendly and accommodating young man – took care of everything for us immediately. Our arrival at La Perla Rooms was absolutely seamless, efficient, and quick. The welcome with a complimentary espresso was particularly warm – just what we needed after the long drive! The entire team was so lovely that we also ate at the hotel restaurant that evening. A great decision: the food was amazing! Everything was fresh, quick, and prepared with great care (see photos). If I could give 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat. The entire staff always had a smile on their face. The location in Saronno is also ideal for travelers heading towards Milan. Keep up the great work, we'll definitely be back!

08/04/2026: I highly recommend the place. I hosted my parents there, and the rooms were very nice and new. In the evening, we had dinner in the restaurant, and the pizza was delicious and reasonably priced for the area. Plus, if you stay there, you get a 10% discount at the restaurant, which is definitely a treat.

21/05/2026: Since it was renovated it is no longer the same place, before it was the classic country trattoria, now beautiful, but it seems like a company canteen, the service is not the best, the staff is not up to the job and the cuisine is also questionable, they gave us ravioli passing them off as casoncelli, the pasta was overcooked and the fried food was like American rubber, the only wine that is good is the one in bulk, the pizza however is very good in all its variations, well cooked and garnished... you can make your own conclusions.

02/05/2026: A wonderful trattoria with impeccable service, friendly, family-run staff who work with passion. Both the indoor and outdoor veranda are excellent, in a quiet location. The food and dishes are truly excellent. I recommend it to everyone and will definitely return. I will be sharing this place with many friends and will be happy to spread the word, as it truly deserves praise. ❤️

25/04/2026: I was there late at night, so I can't comment on the exterior. Inside, the atmosphere is reminiscent of co-op-style restaurants of yesteryear. The food was very good, the service was quick, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I recommend it if you're not looking for a fancy evening.
