13/06/2025: Since I had a nice lunch in the afternoon I went back for dinner. Much busier now but again very good food for a tourist location. The food is really very good in order but also an excellent room service, very friendly and helpful restaurant manager. Service in general was also good.

18/08/2025: I discovered La Lanterna Bistro almost by accident and immediately fell in love!!! A welcoming place, meticulously maintained, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, they serve authentic Neapolitan pizza, the kind with a thick, fragrant crust, made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients, many of which are traditional Neapolitan. An explosion of flavor with every bite! The service is impeccable: the staff is incredibly kind, smiling, and always available. They make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Highly recommended if you're looking for an authentic, tasty, and enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be back!

05/08/2025: My experience was not positive. I had the fried calamari but unfortunately they were inedible, in fact they tasted of ammonia like my daughter's pasta with clams which was too flavoured with coriander with some clams that were squishy.

04/09/2025: It's a cool late-summer day, and a good, warm lunch is in order. Lo Scoiattolo welcomes us to its beautiful, modern dining room with a veranda overlooking the mountains. We begin lunch with steamed mixed vegetables and sciatt (perfect, piping hot and soft inside), followed by blueberry gnocchi with chanterelles and a barley and grain soup. Excellent service, very fast (despite the busy restaurant), friendly, and reasonably priced. We'll be back (also for the homemade desserts).

10/08/2025: I went for lunch today. The carbonara was one of the best I've ever tasted. The quantity was truly exaggerated, and for once, it didn't come at the expense of quality. Creamy, flavorful, the guanciale was excellent, and the pasta was cooked just right. All this combined with friendly, fast service and absolutely fair prices given the quality and quantity. I will definitely return and try something else on the menu. If you're not in the area, it might be worth making a special trip.

05/10/2025: It's not just a pizza restaurant... it's a culinary experience that borders on reality! Let's start with the pizza: exceptional dough and sublime quality ingredients! In 35 years, I've eaten a pizza this good, maybe three times... But the highlight is undoubtedly the dessert... A meringue to savour on the taste buds, and strawberries served beautifully! Even the licorice liqueur wasn't the usual dark soul, but something carefully chosen by I don't know who, but certainly delicious! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The place is very welcoming, with a family atmosphere even from the first time! If you really want to nitpick, the only sore point is the coffee... I was even surprised by the price...for the service I got, I thought I'd spend a little more... I'll definitely be back to enjoy their EXCELLENT cuisine again. 5 stars more than deserved, if I could have added an academic kiss!

07/10/2025: I had lunch with my family and we opted for the fish tasting menu. We received many mixed dishes of delicious, well-cooked peaches. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere.

06/10/2025: Nice restaurant, but the service leaves much to be desired, not attentive. Each fork and glass is different. The quality of the ingredients isn't exceptional, but the menu itself states "thawed product" on some cooked dishes. The main problem is that the fish must be cleaned! Seeing the intestines in the shrimp and scampi puts you off. The only fair thing is the prices based on what they offer. P.S. Check your receipt!!

14/10/2025: We ordered pork and gnocchi. We wanted to try gnocchi since we came to Italy, but it didn't suit our tastes. The meat was delicious, so we had it with beer. The beer was delicious, and the staff were friendly, but it took a while for us to get out because there were a lot of people there.

13/10/2025: A place where the only thing you can enjoy are the beers. Sorry to say, but that's not the case for the food! 😞

09/10/2025: OMG, how delicious!!! Stumbled upon it by chance. Best pizza ever! Very friendly and totally reasonable prices. Singola is about the size of a regular pizza in Germany, about 28 cm. They also have large ones for 3-4 people, and they also bake them for display. Large individual slices can be enjoyed from whatever is available; it takes just 2 minutes in that large oven and they're already piping hot. Be careful not to burn yourself! Lots of students eat there and have sent the nice couple behind the counter lots of postcards and brought home travel magnets. That says it all about their warmth. It's really small, and inside there's only room for three stools at the small counter. But you can also sit outside; it was still nice and warm in October.

21/09/2025: I had the pizza, it was okay, the anchovies were full of bones (a sign of poor quality). We waited a long time for the pizza, the service forgets about the customers. We wanted to order dessert, and I called the waiters. I'm still waiting. We got up and left. The bill was a bit expensive for the price. I don't know if I just happened to be there on a bad night, given the other reviews.

24/08/2025: A local favorite. Beautiful place, with a wonderful terrace at sunset. Simple, quality food, and an absolutely fair price/quality ratio!
