16/12/2025: The place has improved significantly in recent years—five years ago it was nothing like it is today. The quality of the food and the presentation are excellent. You can either order à la carte or choose your fish directly from the display. The kitchen is open all day, which is quite distinctive; on our last visit we walked in at 1630 for a late lunch/early dinner without any issue.

15/12/2025: I absolutely love this place. The staff is truly amazing — welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring, which makes the whole experience even better. The design is beautiful, very stylish, and everything is spotless and perfectly maintained. The food is excellent: fresh seafood, delicious pizza, and very tasty appetizers — everything we tried was top quality and full of flavor. On top of that, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, perfect for both a casual dinner and a special evening. Highly recommended. I’m coming back every week. My friends are also delighted.

The menu changes regularly and offers a good selection of first courses, meat and fish main courses, and even excellent pizzas! The desserts are the icing on the cake! Congratulations!

15/11/2025: Quality food, the appetizer was excellent, the fried food wasn't the lightest but it was good. The quality/price ratio was good, but the portions were a bit small for the price. The service was friendly and fast, and the location was simple but elegant. I recommend trying the fork, especially; we tried it with the 50% discount, which doesn't apply to drinks, coffee, or cover charge.

22/11/2025: I went to this restaurant last night and, unfortunately, my experience was very negative. After eating, I felt sick: I had nausea, vomiting, a stomachache, and dizziness. The quality of the food was disappointing. Both the fish and the meat were terrible: the meat was served cold and poorly cooked. I should point out that I have no intolerances, but the poor quality of the ingredients and preparation was evident.

16/12/2025: Business lunch at noon, simple place, clean, good service, smiling waitresses, super fair price. The pasta was good, the fried calamari with fries were delicious. The gluten-free option was excellent, both for the pizzas (I haven't tried them) and for lunch. Worth a stop. It's in the center, so park your car wherever you can find it, but parking is free for lunch until 2:30 PM.

16/10/2025: A simple, no-nonsense restaurant. The pizzas are simply delicious and quite large. Thin crust and crispy base. Unfortunately, they don't serve pasta or lasagna. Friendly service, who also speaks a little German, is available. The menu is available in several languages. All in all, this restaurant is highly recommended.

10/09/2025: Good food, bright and clean atmosphere, friendly service. Informal lunch, with a business menu and very fair prices.

06/12/2025: The only problem was waiting more than an hour for the pizza... We arrived at 8.30pm and ate at after 9.30pm.... Apart from that, everything else was delicious.

25/11/2025: Ristorante Pizzeria Al Desiderio offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere with plenty of vegetarian-friendly options to choose from. The penne all’arrabbiata was absolutely fantastic — perfectly cooked pasta with just the right amount of spice. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Do note that the restaurant is actually a short distance from where Google Maps has it pinned, so keep an eye out as you approach. Highly recommend for a delicious and comfortable meal!

What really made the visit extra special was the staff: they were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. 14/12/2025: A wonderful family restaurant in the neighborhood. Incredibly friendly service, the Milanese cutlet was excellent. When visiting this establishment, you get the feeling that the staff is part of your family. I definitely recommend a visit. P.S. It was nice to see the native Odessa drink on the shelf of the establishment)

05/12/2025: A great little place with good food and friendly staff. There's a fairly wide selection of Italian dishes, although you won't find any soups, as you'll find in most Italian restaurants. The menu does offer "Seafood Soup," which is delicious, but it's a mountain of seafood in tomato sauce, not a soup. It's a place for a quiet dinner with a small group, not a noisy party, suitable for both locals and tourists. The prices are reasonable. One drawback: they were closed during their opening hours one evening, so I had to dine elsewhere.

16/11/2025: My partner took me to this place, and as soon as I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by its unique character. Simple yet effective, it's a brewery-pub. I ordered a grouss sandwich, and the meat was truly high-quality. The beer was excellent, and the dessert was amazing! I might have added a few more fries on the side. The service was efficient and fast! We'll be back :)

12/12/2025: We were looking on Google Maps for a pizzeria in Gazzaniga that was open on Sunday at 9 PM. We found this place, which was open until midnight, so we decided to call and ask if there were still tables available. After receiving a positive response, we arrived at the restaurant at around 9:30 PM. The welcome was not the best, and the staff did not hesitate to show that we were a burden. The restaurant is located more or less in the town center, but once inside, the atmosphere is classic/vintage with 50s/60s-style furniture and decorations. The ambiance was warm and homely. We decided to order some pizzas, glasses of wine, and later some desserts. Overall, the pizzas were rated positively but not excellent; the dough was very thin, but the ingredients and toppings were good. The dessert was not great; it seemed not very creamy or well mixed. The wine was good. The service was not the best, not due to a lack of skills but because of an unprofessional and disrespectful attitude towards us. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations; the service played a crucial role in our evaluation, despite the average dishes and the restaurant's great potential. Only at the end of dinner did we find out that the closing time was different from what had been indicated. Flavor Compass - D P e G C
