02/02/2025: Premetto che ci sono stata con amici un sabato sera e ho provato solo la pizza. La pizza è la più biscottata del mondo e il forno è elettrico, quindi se vi aspettate una pizza napoletana, desistete. Forse perché era la serata di sabato, c'era un po' di disorganizzazione nel servizio. Abbiamo aspettato le pizze per un' ora e mezza. Il locale è affollato e piuttosto rumoroso. Inoltre è praticamente seminterrato con totale assenza di finestre. Prezzi nella media per la zona ma ingredienti mediamente superiori per qualità. Il personale è stato molto gentile.

19/08/2024: My first time at the Rotonda and had dinner with round pizza. I found it really tasty and beautifully rich 😋 I'll have to go back to try the pizza by the slice and the other dishes! Affable and polite staff. It is especially pleasant to be able to eat outside on the porch ✌🏻

11/01/2025: There is always a first time, and for us this is the first negative review of a place. The inadequacy of the staff used as a buck passing by the owner outclasses the quality of the food. But be careful about giving negative reviews, because despite leaving two plates FULL of breading they dare to say that the plates were clean upon collection. That, even though there were 6 of them on Sunday evening and there wasn't a full house, they also made confusion with the tables as well as with the order? Among other things, reading old reviews we are happy that we were not the only ones who did not read that the "perch" fillets were breaded. Smart move on their part to change the wording on the menu this week, but at least now other customers won't end up ripped off. We are not so masochistic or charitable, if we hadn't wanted that type of dish we wouldn't have taken it; we leave good works to the church. If you order an appetizer and a first course based on sardines and after 10 minutes they tell you that there are no sardines, know that in their head they don't mean all the dishes, but only the appetizer. And there were two people who did not specify it, including the owner. P.s. There must be a reason if the score isn't among the best, and we discovered it the hard way. We repeat, avoid.

11/01/2025: Good morning, I feel obliged to respond here to my negative review on thefork as I can't on the platform just mentioned. 1 I am not Masterchef but it would be enough to reread to understand (I find it difficult given that you only know how to mention Masterchef as soon as a note is made to you) that the criticisms were not about the food but about the service/treatment. I never refer to the quality of the food. 2 blaming the employee doesn't do you credit and.... clean dishes? The plates were not clean and empty. 3 "...just check it's clearly written.....", let's talk about the fact that you updated the menu on thefork after my negative review writing breaded and fried on perch; I checked again the same evening and it wasn't written there (it says that it was just updated on thefork). Furthermore, I had asked for the paper menu to check and it wasn't listed there. Then just scroll on the fork to read about other people talking about the non-fried perch listed on the menu. Dishonesty

02/02/2025: Fake gluten-free pizzas. The pizzas with gluten-free dough are cooked in the oven with the other pizzas, as declared by the girl over the phone. Not good for celiacs, even if they say the opposite.

15/11/2024: I shot 4 in the area. It is undoubtedly the best so far. Excellent pizza, friendly and helpful staff. They made us 4 off-menu pizzas, all good and with great availability towards the customer. Highly digestible due to the superior quality dough

10/11/2024: Intrigued by the positive but unfortunately dated reviews (many from The Fork and many from a long time ago), we were not intimidated by the most recent reviews and booked to try this pizzeria which, not being clearly visible and has little parking, we had not never seen before. Although the staff is not very welcoming but kind in their ways, for what we found in terms of quality of the food and cooking techniques and for the digestion problems (we had dinner at 8pm and now, at 10am, we still have heartburn), at the moment we cannot give a positive opinion and unfortunately we have to confirm the most recent opinions released by other users, probably something must have changed in the last period... Since I am never happy to issue such a negative opinion but, we must be objective with those who read the reviews, we will try to return later and see if we can change the rating and review but, at the moment I can only write the following... From a place which, according to the reviews years ago, also appeared to do cooking, currently only serves pizza and one would expect a quality product but, already from the appearance it was evident that there was a big cooking error and little pre-cooking leavening, that is, low crust and overcooked, a symptom of raw pizza. In addition to this problem, there are other errors such as the tomato puree which is acidic and lacking in flavor which, combined with buffalo mozzarella that was not drained, made the pizza a puddle of tasteless water. The other pizza was supposed to have grilled vegetables but, looking at the photo, it is clear that the vegetables have never been on a grill and were probably seared on a griddle or pan, resulting in the vegetables being semi-raw. As regards the shape, I can understand that to speed up the setting of the tables, placemats and paper napkins are used but, certainly not the canteen ones at dinner... I repeat that I never like to be so crude in evaluations and reviews but, at the moment I have no positive notes (kindness aside)... we will try to return, perhaps with a takeaway and see if our first visit was just unlucky or, confirm the most recent. P.s. responding to those who usually leave positive reviews because they left you a negative review should make you think and perhaps use it to improve yourself and not pretend to apologize and then get angry as I have read in some cases. It's advice to improve yourself in this too.

28/09/2024: Premetto che questa mia recensione si riferisce alla mia (ultima) esperienza in questa pizzeria datata 27/07/2024. Parlando della qualità della pizza: decisamente più bassa rispetto alle altre volte che l'avevo presa, in quanto è venuta bruciata in vari punti, troppo croccante e con poco condimento, dunque bocciata rispetto al passato (perché ERO cliente fisso, una volta ogni 7/10 gg). E già questo, basterebbe per giustificare 1 stella. Ma il motivo di questa mia recensione è un altro, perché può capitare a chiunque di sbagliare una volta una pizza. Ebbene, la 4 formaggi bianca in questa pizzeria costa 8.50€, avendola già presa più volte come detto nelle settimane e mesi precedenti. Quel fatidico 27/07/2024 arrivo alle 19 circa (apertura pizzeria, quindi ero solo io) per prendermela da asporto e mangiarla a casa. Nel frattempo pago, e fornisco in CONTANTI 15 euro (una banconota da 10 e una da 5) al proprietario Sig. Arturo (il quale, a differenza delle altre volte, non dice neanche il prezzo da pagare), per pagare la mia pizza di 8.50. Errore mio, perché se una cosa costa 8.50, perché devo dare 15 euro (10+5)? Non bastava dare la banconota da 10? Ripeto, errore mio, ero sovrappensiero e stanco perché avevo avuto una giornata lavorativa di quasi 11 ore. Detto questo, il sig. Arturo mi dà come resto 2.50 euro a moneta (quindi ho pagato la pizza 12.50). Lì per lì penso che nel giro di 10 giorni la pizza è aumentata di 4 euro (da 8.50 a 12.50), molto strano direi. Comunque, prendo la pizza (brutta e non venuta bene) e la mangio a casa. Un'oretta dopo circa, per curiosità, vado a vedere lo scontrino, e vedo che è riportato che la pizza è stata pagata 8.50, e non effettivamente 12.50 (15 da me forniti a cui vanno sottratti i 2.50 di resto che mi ha dato). Al che mi arrabbio, e molto. In un primo momento penso, per giustificare Arturo, che non ha visto la banconota da 5 che gli ho dato (comunque impossibile, perché quando era alla casa e gli ho dato le due banconote, le ha riposte entrambe ed ha esitato un attimo nello scegliere il resto da darmi, come sorpreso dalla mia mossa) e che mi ha dato il resto come se io gli avessi fornito solo 10 euro. In realtà, anche questa mia ipotesi è falsa, perché allora avrebbe dovuto darmi 1.50 euro di resto, e non 2.50, come invece ha fatto. Ciò significa che è stato tutto volontario e studiato. Ecco quindi configurata la "furbata" (per non adoperare altri termini molto più pesanti ma adatti). Ma non è finita qui. Perché in fondo allo scontrino è riportato "pagamento mediante bancomat". Ecco, come già ho detto sopra, il tutto è invece avvenuto con pagamento tramite contanti. Ancora a testimonianza della volontarietà e coscienza della furbata che il sig. Arturo ha fatto nei miei confronti. Il tutto, specifichiamo, per guadagnare 4 euro in più su una 4 formaggi bianca di un cliente. 4 euro. Una pizzeria storica e rinomata di Como. Mi sembra quantomeno assurdo ed inspiegabile, sempre per non adoperare altri termini. Io poi non sono ritornato a chiedere spiegazioni al sig. Arturo, scontrino alla mano, inerenti il pagamento della pizza, sia perche un'ora dopo, secondo me, non avrebbe avuto senso, sia perché per 4 euro non vado fallito (invece a qualcuno sembra che facciano più che comodo....). In conclusione, è ovvio che non tornerò mai più in questa pizzeria, sia per la storia assurda che ho appena raccontato, sia perché comunque al di là di tutto, la qualità pizza le ultime volte era veramente calata. Il sig. Arturo ha guadagnato 4 euro in più una volta, ma ha perso un cliente fisso (sono sicuro che non ci dormirà la notte sul fatto di aver perso un cliente come me), il quale diffonderà questa storia in giro e metterà una cattivissima parola sulla pizzeria e sulla persona.

02/11/2024: Very high prices for poor food. The first courses are nothing special. Dried meat can barely be eaten. Paid a bill, almost 50 euros per person But the real value is half. They should make a menu with typical local dishes while the majority are seafood dishes.
