Eating here is a journey through flavors, tastes, imagination, and tradition, all wrapped up in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly!!!!
There's not much to say... You just have to try it and let it carry you away.
Always highly recommended.
27/04/2026: Went here for gluten free pizza and it did not disappoint! Lots of gluten free options & delicious pizza. Great service and nice place. Quite the drive up from the main part of La Spezia which made it a whole experience! Very windy road in the mountains with a great lookout before you turn in. Highly recommended

19/04/2026: There were eight of us, and we had an excellent experience in every respect. The staff gave us a very warm welcome and offered great advice. The food was also outstanding—many of us even ordered a second main course. The large portion of pasta was so huge that it was served on a pizza plate.
If I ever find myself in Genoa again, I will definitely come back!

We were on the highway and stopped for a quick dinner. The restaurant is very close to the A10 motorway entrance. The pizzas are huge, but light and tasty.

Special praise to the two waiters: friendly, professional, and always precise in their service, capable of making you feel at ease without being intrusive.
I had such a great time that I now return almost every day. When a place manages to combine quality, atmosphere, and customer service, it truly deserves to be recommended. Kudos to the entire staff! Reservations are required during the summer and holiday months.

03/01/2026: A visit to LaTaverna is definitely worthwhile! It's a very nice, cozy restaurant. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, and the bruschetta variations are simply amazing! But what I'll especially remember is the incredibly delicious tiramisu :-)
And what's more, every single employee in the restaurant is incredibly friendly! We always received helpful advice and assistance when we didn't understand everything due to language barriers, and we were always greeted and looked after with great care. Thank you so much for the wonderful evenings!! :-)

A remarkable lack of patience and rudeness, both among the servers and with the customers.
The atmosphere was extremely noisy. We left without ordering dessert (every man for himself) or leaving a tip.
