04/05/2026: A casual yet welcoming and down-to-earth place. A few dishes, but delicious. The grilled rooster is their specialty and definitely worth a try, along with the panpizza with spicy salami. They also make excellent pizzas, all cooked in a wood-fired oven. It's practically all self-service, but that's fine. To save time, avoid peak hours, especially on holidays. Excellent value, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. No photos because the rooster couldn't get cold ;-)

18/04/2026: We were back in Arenzano after a 16-year absence, and we had very fond memories of this pizzeria, so we thought, why not go back? We weren't very happy with the result. In short, it was off-season this time, and the pizzas weren't great. Too much tomato sauce, which was a shame because the crust was thin and cooked in a wood-fired oven.

17/03/2026: Fantastic experience! Excellent food, but above all, the owners had such a huge heart. They took care of every detail for the birthday, from the cake to the flowers for the birthday girl. Such lovely and kind people, unlike any other these days. Thank you for everything, see you soon!

28/03/2026: We had dinner here last week and were truly satisfied. We ate excellent seafood, generous portions, and the price was reasonable. The place is quiet, very charming, and spotlessly clean, with parking right on the street. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and even accommodating our food allergies. Highly recommended, and when we're in the area again, we'll be back for a quiet dinner.

23/03/2026: Very welcoming atmosphere, very attentive staff, even disinfecting the tables before seating the customer, excellent raw materials, excellent tuna crudités, excellent pizzas, homemade desserts to try, they are recommended, honest price not excessive, perhaps from the outside it does not reflect the place inside, the only flaw is a little lack of attention in checking the customer to see if they have a full glass, I give full points as the food is really good and you can taste it, and it is one of the few restaurants worth visiting

09/05/2026: We enjoyed the Italian cuisine served at this restaurant. A warm atmosphere among locals who come for lunch before heading back to work. A great place!

13/04/2026: Evening of September 21, 25. We're about to go in and the waitress points to two tables to choose from. A guy, I assume the owner, interrupts, desperate for attention. He tells me everything is already full and booked (I see two out of three tables free). Then he starts making jokes about everyone's physical characteristics. I ask him: "Will you make us pizza in the end or not?" With a smug air, he peremptorily points to a table that isn't one of the two the waitress indicated. Almost as if he were offering us charity! I signal to my wife for us to leave. The freak stammers that he was joking. "No, dear, learn to behave and then we'll see." For the record: just a few steps away, we find another pizzeria where we were very happy. And since you're acting so Superman-esque, comment on my review, because you must remember the episode well. It's been six months, but I haven't seen any comments from Superman. It's easier to respond when everything went well.

07/05/2026: Really good service. Personally, the pizza isn't my best. The mozzarella isn't stretched out, which is a shame.

02/05/2026: April 2025 Update: After a long time, I've returned to Raffa's. This time it was a Saturday, the place was really crowded, and we waited an hour for our pizza after ordering. However, I want to point out that the waiter warned us of the wait time and that the pizza chefs worked at top speed for that hour, churning out all the pizzas at a blistering pace—they really couldn't have done better. Having made this necessary introduction, I must unfortunately confirm my previous review from 2024; the old Raffa's "golden years" are now just a fond memory for me. This time, too, I wasn't thrilled with the pizza, neither good nor bad, as they say (but more bad than good). The price at least remained the same, but it's clear that times have changed (unfortunately). I'm also adding a picture of this latest pizza. As a side note, I should point out that they forgot the oregano on my Bruno, which is perhaps one of the highlights of this pizza. I had it added afterward, "dry," so it didn't blend with the rest of the flavors as it would when added during cooking. Update February 2024: I've been back to Raffa's several times since my initial review. Over the past year and a half, I've noticed that the pizza, while still good, isn't as good first time. Especially the last few times, I've found it to be quite "dry on the surface," and the dough hasn't completely convinced me either. I'd like to point out something that happened the last time that really bothered me: we sat down at the table and when ordering, we were asked if we wanted farinata before the pizzas. Even though we clearly said no and the waiter hadn't written "farinata" on the order sheet, after a few minutes, the farinata was brought to us, which obviously ended up on the final bill. We didn't argue at the time, but I still don't think it's fair at all for them to try to "push" an appetizer onto their customers even if they don't want it. Initial review (2022) referenced in the photos: Fantastic pizza, a must try! A thin, light dough, the quality of the dough is excellent. The ingredients are top-quality, and the pizzas are large and cooked to perfection without being burned. What can I say? Delicious! Going into too much detail would be a waste of words; the pizzas speak for themselves. Personally, I highly recommend the Bruno with stracchino and Taggiasca olives for those who aren't sure, or the Bambi for those who like venison salami and sausage. Whichever pizza you choose, you can't go wrong. Highly recommended.

05/05/2026: The pizzas are excellent, the service is slow but friendly. We were a bit forgotten at first on the small terrace by the main road. It was very noisy outside. A tip: reserve a table inside.

07/06/2026: On a day at the beach in Recco, we stopped by U fainottu for focaccia for lunch and dinner. The service was very helpful and friendly; even though it was closing time, the owner baked a last pan especially for us. Highly recommended for the friendliness and, of course, for the Recco focaccia (also gluten-free), which was truly delicious. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by!

01/06/2026: We discovered this bakery by chance during a day spent in Recco: a wonderful establishment offering quality products (the traditional focaccia is excellent) and a selection of gluten-free items, with excellent value for those who can't eat gluten. Highly recommended!!!

13/05/2026: The pizza here is excellent - many places manage a thin base but I can’t think of many others that get it so beautifully crisp. It’s kind of no-frills, hole-in-the-wall, with pavement table. It’s great

11/05/2026: The pizza isn't going to surprisingly amazing nor is the apperance going to be super picturesque but you will enjoy the food. The pizza is built on a simple crust with local ingredients from the market around and the taste of it is fantastic from what it is. Meanwhile the service is limited spacing and the timing can be either normal or very long. While the seating area is nothing special So why does this get 5 star? Well the pizza is only 6-15€! For that price and the pizza to taste better then some of the more expensive takeout in Roma especially serve by a happy and wonderful owners. Although this is not a wonderful one time experience I think it's a fantastic repeat experience. Come back for delicious pizza for a delicious price.

10/04/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance while trying to grab a bite, even though it was already late by Italian standards (2:40 pm). The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The place was old-fashioned but had a really cool vibe, and everything was spotless. I made some good friends with Franco, who treated me to some Amaro from his hometown and even gave me a bottle of wine. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely visit. Apparently, they have a lively atmosphere at night with karaoke and everything.

The woman when it is come to paying and ordering was also rude. Also the food is not such fresh. Anyway good view to sit outside
