19/03/2026: The food was awful and very expensive. The service seemed friendly, but it turns out they were lying through their teeth. I didn't tip because there was no need for it. The waiter made it very clear he was angry, to put it mildly. I honestly don't recommend it.

09/12/2025: Pizzeria Il Capriccio in Mentana offers delicious, well-topped pizzas with friendly service. It's located in the town center. There's a bit of a wait, and the place could use some updating, but overall, it was a pleasant evening. Recommended.

04/03/2026: Booked for a group of 24 people, very negative experience, superficial service, I asked for a fruit salad or other dessert due to an intolerance and they told me they don't have anything, an apple if I want. One waiter even gave me a rude answer... really a place to avoid!

01/03/2026: I had the opportunity to have lunch at "Il Pozzetto" in Borgo Pio with a friend... it was a pleasant surprise! The service was impeccable, the staff kind and welcoming! The dishes were prepared with care and the ingredients were excellent! Simone, the owner, was also very nice... we will definitely be back!

18/02/2026: We went on Friday 13th February at 1am at the counter there was a boy and a lady, terrible service, she was very rude and answered rudely to me and my mother, a pigeon came in and she started laughing, when I pointed this out to her she replied "well what can I do?" Terrible, we won't be going back

10/02/2026: The pizza was greasy and tasteless. Furthermore, when paying by card, the amount was rounded up, as is usually the case with cash payments. When I pointed this out, the cashier arrogantly replied with a mocking smile, "That's how it works here!" :) Perhaps the Guardia di Finanza would have something to complain about... ;)

27/03/2026: A nice place to stop for a quick coffee or snack. I had a coffee and a croissant, and both were good with normal prices. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere inside was pleasant and comfortable. They also have a large selection of pastries and different types of pizza, so there are plenty of options if you want something more filling. Overall, a good spot for a quick bite or a relaxing coffee break.

04/03/2026: Extremely rude staff. We enter through a broken and faulty "automatic" door, and instead of worrying about our safety, the cashier warns us to be careful not to break it. A very precarious wheelchair ramp at the entrance does the rest. We order a coffee and a pastry: the waiter picks up the pastry WITH HIS BARE HANDS and places it on the coffee saucer. There you go, you eat that, and now you'll watch the sliding door close, bidding farewell to old customers. Terrible, rude, dirty. GLOVES, SERVING TOGGLES, NAPKINS. HAPPY FAILURE

11/10/2025: I stumbled upon this fraschetta by chance with my family during a day trip to Sermoneta. The restaurant is located in the heart of town. We found the service and food quality to be excellent. The platter was superb, and both the gnocchi with ragù and the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms were excellent. Highly recommended. Fantastic value for money.

07/10/2025: We just left our wonderful dinner at Fraschetta Poli. Today is Tuesday, so it wasn’t very busy which meant that we had the delight to be served and to converse with the owner-he was a very lovely, sincere man. Our mushroom pasta was delicious-the mushrooms especially were extra delicious! We shared a bottle of white wine that was very good as well. We felt quite welcomed and very much accepted. It was a lovely Tuesday evening dinner and we very much enjoyed the food, the wine and the conversation with the owner. Buon Appetito!!!

01/03/2026: We arrived at this pizzeria around 8:00 PM and politely asked if we could grab two pizzas on the fly, specifying that we had an appointment at 10:00 PM. The waitress's response was vague: she told us she had to serve two other tables first and then take our order. After about 15 minutes, she came back to take our order. We didn't order any appetizers precisely to speed up service, thinking we'd be served right after those two tables. Instead, at 8:40 PM (so 40 minutes after arriving), still no pizza. When I asked for an explanation, I was told they don't do pre-cooked pizzas and that they had to serve Just Eat orders placed as early as 4:30 PM first. I understand the internal organization, but if I'm told there's a long wait, it can be clearly communicated immediately, so the customer can decide whether or not to stay. In the end, we paid for the two beers and left without having eaten. For two simple pizzas, such a wait is truly unacceptable. Big disappointment.

31/01/2026: Non-existent service, we waited over an hour to order, the pizzas arrived in installments, when I went to ask they rudely replied that I had to wait.

16/02/2026: The waiter was rude and arrogant from the start, almost as if we were bothering him. Prices were exorbitant for what they offered. The pre-ordered menu was completely overturned, and we were treated to dishes that had little to no connection with Italian cuisine. The chicken was as dry as cardboard, practically inedible. The lemon sorbet? We watched it pass by, fully loaded, and a ridiculous portion arrived at our table, like a quarter. The "olive oil" with the bread was clearly vegetable oil. The salad was served without dressing, and when we asked for it, the waiter, instead of bringing us something, yelled at another table for the bottle of balsamic vinegar. A place like this shouldn't exist in Rome. Avoid.
