14/08/2025: Very pleasant and helpful staff. However, the food doesn't live up to the price, and it's truly a tourist trap. €22 for spaghetti with marinated meat, eggplant, virgin olive oil... It turned out to be the most classic spaghetti with tomato sauce and three meatballs, the same meatballs found in the lasagna... Very disappointed with the quality of the food.

13/08/2025: We should have checked the reviews before choosing this restaurant. The food was very bad. The carbonara was overloaded with cheese and so salty it was inedible. The staff was okay, but they kept pressuring us to order more food.

17/08/2025: 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting and then they brought a pizza of shit... a cold gluten-free one that seemed to have been made 2 hours before! Margherita with inedible burnt mozzarella! Cod fillet 4 for that I can't say what but it starts with an M! And after an hour and 10 minutes of waiting we call back to get information and they even treat us badly telling us but what do you want you are not our customers call everyone here because the others are closed we were supposed to be on vacation too! But be thankful that I didn't come down because I had to come down and give it to you I don't tell you where otherwise they won't publish my comment and let's see if you were acting like bullies like on the phone with my partner! And on top of that the gentlemen don't even give you anything because on Saturday points that we had old can't be spent freebies nothing because on Saturday and plus they don't even bring you the stamps because on Saturday! First of all, never again! Stay away from these charlatans and I won't add anything else! 65 euros given away to these... I don't even know What should I call them because I have so many to call them!

16/08/2025: I know your cozy place very well, since I live nearby. We order from several places, including yours, so much so that I'm already "registered." Aside from the delivery that arrived after an hour and a half—and believe me, I do over 200 deliveries a day on foot—if you can't handle the workload these evenings, don't take orders until you're exhausted, because the result is burnt pizzas, mine gluten-free was raw and frozen, the cod fillet was small and nonexistent, and salt galore. Furthermore, your arrogance when I called an hour later to ask where the order was is shocking: you can't tell me that it would have been better if you too had closed for vacation, since all the "never heard of them" call you, which I'm not one of. I also own a business very close to yours, I haven't closed for vacation, and I welcome occasional customers who come to fill the void of the regulars, who are absent. Work must always be blessed, and customers, if well-mannered, are all equal. You should examine yourselves, but I'll stop by in person anyway.

03/02/2025: È la seconda volta che mi trovo a recensire questo locale , dopo esserci stato per altre volte mi scendono trovato male ho deciso di riprovarci. Questa volta la disorganizzazione e i biblici tempi di attesta riscontrati nell’altra visita sono spariti, lasciando spazio a cibo di scarsa qualità che alla quasi totalità della tavolata ha causato un bel mal di stomaco e una notte in piedi! Bocciato definitivamente

23/12/2024: Oltre ad essere sempre un ottimo pub da visitare la sera, ci ha stupiti anche a pranzo con pietanze di pesce squisite:antipasti, primi, fritture:tutto veramente buonissimo e cucinato in maniera impeccabile...inoltre la gentilezza del personale e del proprietario Gigi non manca mai...da non sottovalutare poi, l'accessibilità dei prezzi. 22/05/2025: Two of us went for lunch today. Very quiet, just us and one other person. Good and friendly service. The place was great. We ordered water, a salad, carbonara pasta, garlic and cayenne pasta, and a homemade tiramisu to share. Good. The tiramisu was very sweet for me, but I prefer savory food. The service was fast, helpful, and pleasant. It cost us €30. The only drawback: They don't accept credit cards.

14/04/2025: A stone's throw from Piazza Fiume, an address to share in via Lucania 11a between via Sicilia and Via Calabria. Delicious pizzas with quality products that recall the ancient flavors of the past. The restaurant has a wide choice of Roman dishes on the menu. In a panorama of gastronomic offerings that increasingly push customers to discover sometimes unthinkable combinations, tradition wins here and succeeds very well. The innkeeper is truly the guardian of our taste. The pizzas are excellent and perhaps this is one of the few restaurants that still makes them Roman style, I feel like saying, hurray! that is, low and very light which makes you want to do it again while remaining very digestible. The classic and timeless tomato bruschetta is delicious, as is the focaccia with Parma and buffalo mozzarella. Zucchini flowers pizza with anchovies simply irresistible, tasty and cooked to perfection. Exceptional tiramisu, never tasted so good in a restaurant. La Baita since 1980, is the true history of catering, not entrepreneurial improvisations destined to appear and then disappear like the trends of the moment. An address to recommend and share with relatives and friends and for those who wish to taste the ancient flavors of tradition seasoned with the tenacity and love of those who have decided to dedicate their lives to catering. Listening to the memories of the managers is a romantic dive into the past, the Rome of the past, beautiful and damned. Welcoming environment with industrial references, quick and attentive service. Absolutely honest prices, time stopped in via Lucania 11a and we with it.

13/08/2025: I was 22 minutes late for my reservation, and they took away my family's table of four, without any specific instructions that I should eat and vacate the table within an hour. I'm speechless.

08/08/2025: Every time we come to Sabaudia, it's a tradition to come to this small, family-run pizzeria! It feels like a leap back in time! 3 pizzerias of the past! We like the simplicity of this place! Good value for money! The food is good, and they still have Coke in a glass, something my husband loves and that few have! The suppli are homemade, but I'm Roman... so I'm picky about it! I'd opt for the French fries, which look delicious! Real potatoes! Anyway, we'll be back next year! Book early, as weekends are always full.

06/06/2025: Review: I honestly don't understand how other customers can call this pizza "good". If this is considered a good pizza in Rome, then I really wonder what they eat at home... garbage with tomato? In that case, yes, this pizza can even seem good. I go in with some colleagues, I see "tuna and tomato salad" on the menu. They bring me... tuna and tomatoes. No trace of salad. I ask for explanations and they tell me that if I really wanted salad, I should have ordered it either with egg or without tomatoes. But on Google and wherever you search for "tuna salad", there is always a bit of green salad. Not here. Here they even make you feel wronged for asking for clarification. Then two open tills but the receipt only works where you pay with cards. But call a technician, please. How long have you been open and you still work like this? I ask for bread. They don't bring it to the table, they tell me to go to the till. At the cash register the lady is “nice”: “Come on, today I’ll buy you one, but next time the bread roll will cost 30 cents.” Look, keep the 30 cents, I don’t want gifts, I just want normal service. I go to where you get the bread, the waitress tells me that the bread rolls are finished and gives me two pieces of cut bread. Excellent. And the cherry on top: while we’re still eating, the waiter comes and asks: “Can I take away my plate?” I say no… and he takes it away anyway! Then he looks at my colleague, who still had her fork in her hand, and asks her if she can take away hers too. But for God’s sake, after you had the courage to charge me 7 euros for two spoonfuls of tuna with tomato, at least avoid breaking my balls during the meal.

12/05/2025: Siamo venuti in questo ristorante per cena. Già all' entrata ci siamo trovati molto bene, il posto è luminoso e molto accogliente. Gli ordini sono arrivati e subito e nonostante abbiamo ordinato 5 piatti diversi, ce li hanno portati tutti insieme. I camerieri sono molto gentili e il cibo è molto buono. Consiglio.

12/05/2025: Negli anni ci sono stata più volte e mi è sempre piaciuto, ieri sono rimasta molto delusa. Servizio totalmente disorganizzato: i camerieri che non sapevano dove portare i piatti, il vino l’abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3 volte e dopo aver chiesto di metterlo in ghiaccio non è stato fatto. Abbiamo preso i primi di pesce che erano un lago di olio all’aglio e basta (allego foto di quelli che dovevano essere spaghetti con vongole). Mi dispiace molto, ma è un grande no.

06/07/2025: English: We had a great time upon our arrival, very easy parking, the view of the very nicely set tables with a beautiful window caught my attention, especially for the very bright and fresh environment. We were served impeccably with a really good spaghetti with clams, and it had been a long time since I had one like that, the perfectly cooked grilled prawns also arrived clean and practically ready to be eaten, the cheesecake was very good, perhaps a little heavy, but I imagine that the type of milk that is probably used in these areas is richer, the tiramisu was average, my preference is that there is mascarpone and less cream, but the products were very fresh and I really appreciated the bottled water which was particularly good, Sorgesana. We had a great time and will definitely be back. The lady was very kind, we said goodbye with a coffee and I was also offered a very good grappa. I am completely satisfied and will be back soon.

21/06/2025: Terrible experience. Very slow service! We waited 1 hour for the first course to arrive and 1 hour for the dirty plates to be taken away. The second course?? Nothing!!! After another hour we gave up. And yet it is Saturday night and there are only 5 full tables... then everything is empty. And still only one kind waiter, but unfortunately being just a bit inzallanut. In addition, the owner allowed 2 dogs to enter at a table and so far no problem because I love dogs, but she allowed one of them to bark for the entire duration (that is, our 3 hour wait). From 9:00 pm we left at 11:00 pm and we only ate the first courses... including my 5 year old son. I think you are truly the shame of Formia. It is a miracle that you are still open... especially here.

21/08/2025: We went there tonight and it was our worst meal since we've been on vacation in Rome. The lasagna was swimming in oil and the spaghetti carbonara wasn't great either. The only good thing (that convinced us to eat there) was the waiter who spoke French.
