20/03/2026: A must try if you’re in or around Trastevere. Family of 5 and we ate from here quite a few times during our stay in Rome and I must say the food did not disappoint. Pizza, pasta, main courses, everything was cooked to perfection. I also can’t say enough good things about the service staff, everyone here has been great. Truly a wonderful eatery, highly recommend.
20/03/2026: Other tables were served limoncello before paying the bill, so I thought I'd get some too, but I didn't. Why? Is there a rule against serving it to solo diners?
I ordered the vongole pasta, but it was a bit disappointing, perhaps because I'm used to eating large, plump clams.

01/03/2026: The pizzeria is very good, and the pinza is top-quality. The dough is good, and the ingredients are top-notch. I had a capricciosa, and it was well-filled. Of course, for me, a native of Campania, the pinza isn't even close to a true Neapolitan pizza, complete with a deep, hollow, and soft crust. But that's my personal opinion and has nothing to do with the restaurant's rating, which, I confirm, is excellent. The atmosphere is refined, as is the service. I recommend it.

The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet, and the service is quick and professional.
The fried foods are exquisite, with both traditional and elaborate options.
The pinsa, for my taste, is perfect.
Crispy dough, good-quality and well-balanced toppings.
Excellent selection of beers and digestifs.

09/03/2026: Despite our reservation being cancelled due to our negligence, we were reassured, and after a short wait, we were seated. The fried foods, pizzas, and gluten-free pizza were excellent. The apple pie was delicious. Plus, the girls and their mother were so welcoming. We'll be back soon...just keep an eye on the outcome of our reservation!

04/01/2026: We went as soon as they opened for lunch, a quiet time to eat, without waiting.
The artichoke alla giudia is top! 🤩
Served crispy and with paper towels on the plate, but the fried food is perfect.
They welcome dogs, at least our small one was fine.
The amatriciana was also very good!
We'll be back!

28/10/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by how well the pizza was made — balanced flavors, nice crust, and great taste overall. You can tell they care about quality here. I’d like to share my experience with the service shown in the attached photo. I was surprised at how easy it is to track your diet with it. Super convenient — I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to eat more mindfully.

22/02/2026: A historic pizzeria in Ferentino, famous for its legendary calzone, available with various fillings in baby, regular, or UFO sizes! The pizza and fried appetizers are also excellent. Reservations are not accepted; we recommend arriving by 7:45 PM to secure a table straight away. Il Giardino is a guaranteed success.

You might be wondering what fregnaquanti are: they're thin egg tagliolini, a specialty of Segni.
They can be seasoned in any way:
Clams, porcini mushrooms, porcini mushrooms and clams, garlic, oil, and chili pepper, with butter, with sauce like the women of Segni used to make...
Generous portions.
But Scroccarocco isn't just fregnaquanti; the menu is full of delicacies, including desserts featuring the famous zozzamucco.
I recommend booking regardless of the day, and I'll end with the usual motto: try it and believe it.
