A meticulously maintained and stylishly furnished environment, an unparalleled view of the first hills of Friuli (both from the spacious outdoor terrace and the upstairs mezzanine), and extremely friendly staff. But above all, refined, varied, sophisticated, and flavorful cuisine that will delight even a carnivore like myself. Pets are welcome. The online booking system is very convenient. A place we'll definitely return to.

There are just a few tables in the dining room, just the right ones to take your time and savor the passion in every dish. Regional and non-regional wines complement the dishes without overpowering the pairing. It's worth a stop.

02/01/2026: This was definitely the best place we ate lunch on our trip to northern Italy. A wonderful family atmosphere, and a very pleasant lady helped us decide on our order. The service was very fast, and the food was incredibly delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant with its truly Italian soul!

15/02/2026: Excellent restaurant and pizzeria in the center of the seaside resort. The staff is very kind and courteous, serving customers with expertise and great discretion—always attentive, but never intrusive (a rare quality these days). The food is excellent and reasonably priced! We'll definitely be back! Well done!

21/02/2026: Pizzeria da Pippo is always a sure thing, the pizza is always excellent with quality ingredients and the possibility of having various doughs. The only negative note is that I have never managed to try Senatore Cappelli because they always seem to have a minimal quantity of this dough. For the rest, however, everything is positive, including the fast service and the quality/price ratio.
25/01/2026: The pizza is delicious; the Senatore Capelli dough is truly exceptional and very easy to digest. A wide variety of pizzas, worth trying.

10/01/2026: Given that the food is good everywhere in Grado, this is a 5-star restaurant. A welcoming and refined place with soft background music. A 5-star welcome from the highly qualified staff. The seafood appetizer with grilled octopus in a bean sauce was superb, the tuna tartare was immense, the ravioli filled with sea bass and sea bream fillets, with a pepper and balsamic vinegar sauce 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰, and the tagliolini with shrimp were excellent. Dessert was a fruit salad with ice cream (see photo). Special mention for the black grape bread. We will definitely be back!
09/01/2026: There were four of us for dinner. The food was excellent, everything fresh and delicious. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was super friendly and very attentive, even though the restaurant was fully booked.
It's our new favorite restaurant in Grado.
Good wines and an excellent grappa.
We'll definitely be back. It's a bit pricey, but the quality justifies the cost.
If everything stays this way, we'll definitely become regulars.

19/01/2026: I stayed in Trieste for a weekend at the end of December. I was impressed by this restaurant, which I went for lunch and then returned for dinner. The menu offered a wide selection of carefully prepared dishes. I tried the "cauldron di mare" (seawater boiler); I still remember the flavor of those shrimp, the best I've ever tasted for freshness and quality. Spaghetti allo scoglio (seafood spaghetti), a super-abundant and delicious dish, flavorful yet delicate. The cod, the fried calamari.... the fish menu was a total hit! The table service was very friendly and efficient. Attilio was quick to serve, attentive, and helpful. The quality-price ratio was excellent. I will definitely choose this restaurant when I return to Trieste.
10/01/2026: We went to eat at the pop-up restaurant just around the corner, Skaramanzia, and it's still the same owners. We'd read that you could get their best sellers, and we wanted to try both the ravioli and the seafood. In the end, we ordered these two starters and also made some different appetizers by mixing the two menus. Wow! My partner and I were thrilled and have already booked for next week, when we're bringing more friends! Well done, guys, and see you very soon.

23/02/2026: We stopped by on Sunday for lunch. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Sabrina was welcoming, kind, and friendly. The owner was present and helpful, and we enjoyed chatting with him after lunch. We'll definitely be back.

04/03/2026: Great place for a quick but quality lunch. Excellent food, superb service, and a setting that truly exceeded my expectations. I stopped by for lunch and had a truly wonderful time. The selection was varied, all delicious, generous portions, and prices were more than competitive.
Do you plan on returning soon, perhaps in the evening for a good pizza?
In the meantime, I'd definitely recommend it to everyone.

14/03/2026: For those looking for an alternative to the classic pizza, Baci di Pizza is the perfect choice. Excellent pizza dough topped with a wide variety of ingredients, from vegetables to cheeses and cured meats. Tasty and appealing. A decent place with professional staff. Recommended.
