03/01/2026: We ordered a bottle of water, a scarpariello, and a pasta and potatoes dish. Bill 26, discounted at €25... Cost charge, despite the draft, €4 Bottle of sparkling water €2 Scarpariello (pasta with tomato and parmesan) €10, served with a smooth penne pasta dish, which I found unpalatable, and chili peppers that weren't the original recipe (and not requested by the restaurant owner). Pasta and potatoes €10, typical for a trattoria. We stopped here hungry and on our way back from a morning in the hospital. I now understand everything you're saying, but in my opinion the €10 price for a first course is excessive. It was my mistake, trusting the restaurant owner who told us the menu of the day verbally (which wasn't written anywhere). Personally, I don't recommend it.

High-quality ingredients are refined with spices and finesse to create a culinary delight. I ate my best chop ever, tender as butter 😋. A real insider tip. The owner participates in cooking competitions and boasts four meters of trophies and awards.

16/01/2026: It's a place I often go back to with my family for the good food and excellent service. The only downside is that it's closed on Sundays! Mondays would be better.

04/12/2025: HISTORIC PIZZERIA AND TRATTORIA IN THE RIONE ALTO (ARENELLA DISTRICT) We ate very well, as always, and were treated wonderfully, especially by the staff at our table who recommended it. Excellent value, fast service, and excellent food. Overall, highly recommended, even for the pizza! I've been going there since I was little and returned several years later.

31/01/2026: Good morning, yesterday I celebrated two birthdays... celebrated under a tent... even though they tried to disguise the photos with hearts... the wall was completely black... they favor those they know... they don't understand that if you have to celebrate even if you book so far in advance... it's not the first time they've made us sit in places where we can't take photos... this time we even ended up in the "new" outdoor room with plastic closures, dirty windows, photos that made it feel like we were under a garage, despite having paid a lot of money... The room was freezing cold with two elderly people over 80 who were also sick and had to keep their scarves on... a table placed far from the stove... terrible service, rude people like the owner, who, after waiting 45 minutes to order, came to our table and said, "Choose your pizza flavor as soon as possible for elderly people who don't know how to use the menu on their phone and therefore take longer to understand. They don't even give us a paper menu." Terrible pizza...expensive bill...even though they brought our cake and paid for it, they had the nerve to charge for the cake without a set table...just for cutting it. Extremely disappointed. I give zero for everything. You can't even have a conversation with the owner...and he's just kidding...we won't be coming back. I have more parties to throw...but I won't be back. Not even if he gave me pizza for free...zero professionalism and very presumptuous. Thank God, there are places just as beautiful, with better food, and above all, kind and respectful owners and staff, which you'll never find here...and if my daughters ever come to have a party here, I'll never set foot in a place run by ignorant people (who ignore your requests) and clowns again. Instead of giving glory to God that a business is doing well, they've become so proud that they feel like they have to decide everything without understanding your needs... because they have those rides for the kids, they've gotten too carried away... Disappointed is an understatement. I gave it 1 star because it wouldn't let me publish, but it's worth 0 overall.

20/09/2025: Excellent service, you feel right at home. The quality of the food and the price are unquestionable, and the girl with the earrings serving the tables is wonderfully kind. The wait time is just right for the dishes, and you don't even have to wait long for the pizza. It's become my go-to pizzeria.

12/03/2026: Fantastic staff make this place perfect for your stay in pompeii. The reception staff are so helpful and the breakfast team so friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again just for the attentive service. The only down sides being the poor electrical points in the bedroom which we could not get our electrical appliances to work in, and this included the hotel room kettle, the non working fridge which meant that I could't keep my medication cold, the lack of balcony furniture and tepid "hot" water in the shower. This is a shame as the wonderful staff really put their hearts into making your stay an experience which you will not forget. The hotel is sited opposite the archeology site and there are transport links to other places close by.

10/03/2026: Fantastic location, opposite the entrance to the excavations. Very convenient private parking. Breakfast was adequate, but the cappuccino was truly tasteless, both from the bar and the vending machine. The fruit juice was the same. The desserts are standard—pies and donuts, but no local products (no sfogliatelle, cannoli, etc.). Only plain croissants. Single-serving packaged jams and off-brand yogurt, only plain. Bread, but no toaster. Maple syrup, but no pancakes. Small room with a tiny bathroom, with broken tiles and exposed grout. Small TV. Very comfortable bed. Are you sure it's a 4-star hotel? Thank you for your kind reply. But from your booking confirmation email, which I've attached, we had booked a standard double room, not an economy one. We also paid for the two small bottles of water, which were the only items in the minibar. This has never happened in a 4-star hotel, or at least without being notified at check-in. Thanks again for your consideration.
