29/05/2026: We've been for dinner twice in a row, sampling the entire menu—fish, meat, and pizza—and it's all excellent. There were 12 of us, motorcycle friends, staying at the hotel of the same name (under the same ownership). The wine list is interesting, with fair markups. Anyone can create excellent dining, but the art of hospitality isn't for everyone. Angelo, the chef and owner, is a friendly, professional, and generous person. We'll definitely return.

10/05/2026: The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired. Some appetizers arrived after the main course, and the dishes were served unevenly, so one person was still eating when everyone else had finished. On the positive side, the artistic presentation of the plates was a highlight, showcasing the chef's creativity. The portions were small but tasty. However, they weren't always worth the price. The timing of the dishes, in particular, needs improvement. It's unacceptable that a simple salad took longer than a freshly prepared risotto.

10/05/2026: Ample parking, welcoming atmosphere, good food. There are perhaps a few too many seats available for the kitchen/service capacity; the wait is a bit long. On Sundays, the place is full at lunchtime.

16/01/2026: We went for dinner last week with friends. The place is very welcoming, the staff are very friendly, and the pizza is delicious. In the summer, they have an outdoor terrace and easy parking.

31/01/2026: Too expensive for what it offers. A plate of candles with Genovese sauce for €18 is way too much. It's supposed to be a trattoria, but its prices are those of a luxury restaurant. There's little attention paid to celiacs. Even if they apologize, they can't be excused. It takes a little goodwill and professionalism to please customers, even those with food intolerances, which aren't dictated by lifestyle choices, but by health issues! It doesn't take much to please a celiac without apologizing for not even having dessert or an appetizer. Finally, raising prices and not improving the service or the food... it certainly doesn't entice customers. It's a shame because they could do so much better. I don't think I'll return... it's not worth it!

22/12/2025: Never again. Supermarket cheeses considered elite, and even poorly served. Two micro burgers with two sides of very gourmet baked potatoes. The eggplant mushrooms and chicory in a micro bowl are also gourmet. A bottle of wine for three people is of poor quality. Three micro cannoli for dessert, and they say they offered it for €35 per person. I will never go again. For €35, I can eat much better, both in quantity and quality, elsewhere, even in much better locations.

03/09/2025: I hadn't dined at Borgo since it was renovated, so taking advantage of a quieter late-summer evening, I decided to try it with some friends. The location is very well-maintained, with wooden tables and benches giving way to more modern and elegant furnishings that blend perfectly with the splendid setting of Acciaroli's harbor. The new, fully open kitchen is also very attractive. I really enjoyed the appetizers, both raw and cooked, where I found great respect for the raw ingredients, which remain the protagonist even in the more elaborate dishes. For the first course, I opted for the linguine with prawns, a simple dish but truly excellent in flavor. The desserts also deserve special mention; we tried several, all very good (but if I could have, I would have eaten 12 ricotta flowers!). The value for money was good considering the location, service, and overall quality of the dinner.

20/04/2026: I'll be honest: we generally eat out 3-4 times a week, both in Italy and abroad, so we have a broad yardstick. And we're very picky. I've been coming to Naples every year for years; this is the place where we've eaten the best ever. We had both lunch and dinner here. We're leaving tonight and we ordered a takeout panuozzo because we want to have their food for dinner tonight too. Excellent ratings for: Buffalo pizza Panuozzo with provolone, eggplant, and prosciutto Parmigiana WAW lentil meatloaf Buffalo mozzarella with vegetables. Very good and kind people. HIGHLY recommended.

07/03/2026: Avoid ordering pizza over the phone. After almost three hours, I decided to cancel the order. A very negative experience.

17/07/2026: We dined last night for the first time since the renovations, and were already regulars. We had a wonderful meal: - Grilled fish - Margherita pizza - Ricotta and pear cake - Cheesecake (berries) Everything was truly excellent, we'll definitely be back.

06/07/2026: We booked for lunch on Sunday, June 29th, the day they reopened after a long closure. When we arrived right on time, no tables had been reserved. We were forced to leave. Shame!!!
