05/01/2025: We were skeptical at first because the restaurant is relatively large. But in the end we were very satisfied. My fish menu for €25 was totally ok, the pizza was also good. The landlord was very friendly and was able to console us about the temporarily non-working coffee machine for the espresso at the end.

19/12/2024: The pizza has always been excellent, but unfortunately one star for the home service, we called at 5pm to have them arrive at 9pm, and they were delayed by an hour on Thursday, and also we live very close.

09/01/2025: There could be infinite vulgar terms to describe the SPUNZILLO experience. However, we would like to remain polite in the final judgment. Starting with a great premise, which requires great understanding in the classic timing of day 1 of the year, we would like to be able to describe the rudeness and inadequacy of the staff. Left for 40 minutes without even water on the table. We were a table of 15, so there were no demands on times but the first pizza on the table arrived half an hour earlier than the last. There is no point in describing the quality of the pizza. Terrible, inedible raw, tasteless with the oven clearly dirty as the bottom of the plate almost looked like it had been used as an ashtray. The gem of the day, however, didn't take long to arrive... in addition to a gluten-free """""margherita pizza""""""", a piece of wood appeared first in the mouth and then on the plate. Up to this point any error would have been contemplated, except that at the time of the bill each of our complaints was belittled. To make sure we didn't miss anything, the owner and his staff also insinuated that our complaints were aimed at a discount on the final bill (€17 per person, an affordable budget for the first of the year). In total indifference and after missing out on a delightful sunset on the Salerno seafront, the owner saw fit to remove €15 from the bill without apologizing; moreover, according to them: "which will never be a piece of wood on the plate". With the education that distinguishes us, if you read the review and it is the only pizzeria available in Salerno, go and eat sushi. I conclude by saying that if it could be reviewed with 0 stars we would have done so.

09/01/2025: Terrible, especially the service not even able to communicate. Treated superficially, despite the time close to closing and the restaurant half empty. Pizzas with pieces still identified inside, a pizza chef who should use the shovel to dig a hole and hide because of how rude he was. Don't go and give money to these people, rather I recommend the stones on the seafront.

01/10/2024: It's the first time we've been there, but we'll definitely be back, excellent pizza, light and well-hydrated dough. Even the really tasty gourmet bruschetta trio could feel the freshness of the ingredients 👍😋

30/09/2023: We arrived before midnight when most places were already closed, hungry for wine and pizza. The owner of the place joked with us despite the language barrier, made us two delicious pizzas and sold us Pompeian wine. Taking the pizza to go, the gentleman gave us a mini calzone for the road Very nice and local! "not Italians, but Neapolitans"

08/01/2025: Margherita d'asporto al prezzo di 8 euro, una vera beffa considerata la variegata offerta cittadina. Pizza bruciata, coglie l'ingenuità del turista.

04/01/2025: 28/12/2024 siamo stati a pranzo in questa pizzeria storica che non ha assolutamente niente da invidiare alle più rinomate limitrofe. Margherita spettacolare, wurstel e patatine per i bimbi ottima (non secca/asciutta come spesso accade altrove). Locale molto accogliente, personale molto gentile e disponibile. Prezzi nella media per la zona.CONSIGLIATISSIMO.

03/11/2024: Since I barely understand Italian, I had difficulty making myself understood and I made a mistake in asking for 2 aperols, instead of 2 aperitifs. In fact I wanted 1 aperol and a coke. The person did not understand and another person came with 2 aperols. I explained the problem. She replied curtly "it's ordered"... And didn't take the second aperol... But, in good faith, I then preferred to joke with her. I didn't want to worry about such a beautiful place (Capri)

14/12/2024: The food is good, especially the pizza. However, it's a shame for the organization because you have to get up and collect each dish when it's ready, but the problem is that we weren't told and we had never been there so we should explain how it works when you enter so you don't wait unnecessarily and be able to order immediately. Then I would still recommend putting a placemat and cutlery even if it doesn't fall within the "ecological" and "economical" category but honestly eating for two in the center of the table on a tray seems a bit like fast food and certainly not like a designer pizzeria.
