12/02/2026: Truly excellent pizzeria. The pizza has a very good dough and isn't heavy; it's not my first time here, and I always enjoy returning. The dining room isn't very large, but the place itself is cozy and charming, and you can watch them make the pizza since the oven is right in the dining room. The menu offers a wide selection at reasonable prices. There's no parking, but you can park on the street if there's a space available, or walk a short distance to the large Terme di Siena parking lot. Overall, it's a good place with excellent pizza, and I highly recommend it.

16/09/2025: We'd heard good things about this pizzeria, and since we were on vacation in the area, we checked to see if it was open and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, after a 30-minute drive, we arrived and couldn't find the place. We asked for directions at a nearby restaurant, and they told us it had closed for the season for two days. We double-checked the hours on Google, where it said OPEN CLOSES AT 11:30 PM. Your pizza might actually be good, but you still made a terrible impression.

13/09/2025: Very positive experience during the closing phase, he tried to accommodate me by getting me my favorite beer I don't know where, quality service at the highest levels, highly recommended and the best restaurant in the seafront area, I will come back 1000 more times, I have no words to describe the culinary positivity that the manager transmitted to me👍 don't walk uselessly through the streets of the town, stop directly here and you won't regret it👍

10/03/2026: Years later, unfortunately, I have to say that the quality has deteriorated. We paid €30 for an appetizer with practically nothing. There were four of us with a reservation and we wanted to order two entrees, but the waiter immediately told us they couldn't be prepared. I don't understand why this wasn't communicated at the time of booking. Honestly, it was a disappointment. As for the service, the waiter was good and helpful.

08/03/2026: Coming here is an incredible culinary experience... plus the excellent welcome from the owner and staff. The restrooms are clean even after hours... highly recommended.

23/12/2025: While visiting the Amalfi coast we found Bougainvillea! We stopped in one evening to try the best FRESH gelato we have ever had. We came back the next day for delicious pizza and an ice cold Coke Zero. The staff is incredibly friendly and the location was perfect to take in all of the people strolling through beautiful Sorrento. BUT the best part of our trip was our gelato making class! From the rich history this family has and the love they pour into all that they do to laughing as we tried our hand at making two gelato flavors. It was an incredible experience! While you are there, ask at the counter about the gelato making class with Teresa! She is wonderful and fun and all of the things that make Bougainvillea a must stop when visiting Sorrento.

16/12/2025: The place is very large, the decor a bit run-down. It has a shabby feel, perhaps because of the low season. I ordered an octopus salad, a bit cold but not bad, but it was sparse; there was no celery, a few cherry tomatoes, nothing. Then came the scampi linguine, which was neither praise nor infamy, and a pre-packaged sorbet. Beautiful plating isn't enough if quality doesn't support the whole! Overall, I didn't have a bad meal, but the service was truly lacking and unprofessional. The quality-price ratio was very poor: €50 for a beer, an appetizer, and a first course; €6 for a commercial sorbet that costs less than a euro at the supermarket. And it doesn't end there: the bill was given on a slip of paper with no fiscal value, without a receipt. I don't recommend it.

03/01/2026: Extremely long wait times. We arrived at 9:40 PM and our pizza arrived an hour later, after which the drinks were already warm. Out of four pizzas, two were cold, and one portion of fries was undercooked and full of oil. It's not the first time this has happened, but this will certainly be the last, as we won't be returning.
