The pizzas were crooked, with a very generous crust, so much so that we wondered if the pizza chef actually knew how to roll out a pizza properly. The result was far from satisfactory. Furthermore, the prices have increased significantly, and considering the quality of the experience, the value for money is completely unjustified. We won't be returning, especially since there are much better pizzerias in the city.

A wide selection of wines. The menu features seasonal and local products. Seafood dishes are recommended during the summer months. I recommend letting the staff advise you on your choice of dishes. In our case, Carmine was excellent, expert in guiding us through the dinner and selecting the dishes. The staff's presence during dinner was pleasant and never intrusive. We opted for a varied and generous mixed seafood appetizer. A welcome plate of "cresciute" pasta dishes was served. A smoked wild salmon bun, fried fish, octopus salad, mussel sauté, and battered shrimp were among the various courses. Afterwards, we chose a dish per person: seafood risotto, lemon-flavored catch of the day, and a mixed grill. The grill was of a decent size (I would have liked more), and the other courses were plentiful. Very pleasant Pallagrello wine. A lovely final dish of traditional desserts and fresh fruit. One caveat: the waiter was alone. He worked for three hours, always efficient and polite, never losing his finger on the pulse, but this meant long waits because the chef groups the orders together to streamline service. Ultimately, I would happily return. Both meat and fish menus. Home-made flavors, honest and delicious.

10/10/2025: THE BEST GENOVESE I'VE EVER EATEN. We were so enchanted by the look that I forgot to take a photo until halfway through. Plates were cleared, set, and mopped up. Portions that won't leave you dissatisfied: generous and incredibly flavorful and tasty. Very affordable prices and a top location on the Salerno waterfront. The Nerano was also very good, but I'm a big fan of the Genovese. The staff was very kind and helpful.

29/09/2025: I've eaten at this typical little restaurant on the dock many times, and I must say I've always been very satisfied despite the crowds and sometimes long waits. But I must say that the last time I visited, I noticed a marked deterioration in the preparation of the dishes. Even the fried anchovies were almost inedible, cold; I think they'd been fried an hour earlier. The sauté was good, the pasta was so-so. Even the famous cod meatballs weren't up to par. We were harassed the entire meal by very, very pushy street vendors. Lots of flies. All in all, a disappointing experience. It's a shame, for us it was a go-to place. We still left a nice tip, and no one thanked us...
