A simple, basic place. It doesn't have air conditioning, but the tables along the street are comfortable. The pizza, made by Franco, a pizza chef with decades of experience and a deep knowledge of the subject, is light and tasty. We ordered a classic marinara and a log, which was a pleasant surprise. Franco's kindness and courtesy make him stand out from his more highly-regarded colleagues. Next time, we'll try what we thought were some inviting panuozzi.

La Locanda della Pacchiana

25/06/2026: I had dinner this evening with my family and we had a great time. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and fast, and the prices were fair. They also have a very pleasant outdoor area. I'll definitely be back.
14/06/2026: Very convenient location, with ample parking just off the Casilina highway. Very nice place, good food, but with a few flaws. The food is very good, but some of the choices made to break tradition for the sake of being trendy are questionable. For example, the pasta alla Genovese, the sauce is blended, so the shredded meat and onion are mixed into something I'd call "Genovese baby food." The pizzas could have been cooked a little longer (the red ones), but they were excellent.
