12/07/2026: Terrible experience and paradoxical situation at the entrance Highly not recommended. A nightmare experience both in terms of service and safety. We visited this place in a group of seven. The experience started badly: at the entrance, there was an unauthorized parking attendant regulating traffic with a chair and leaving us an anonymous ticket with a motorcycle number. The real problem arose at the exit: she demanded €3 and, when we refused to pay for illegal parking, violently pushed the chair in front of my friend's motorcycle to physically prevent her from leaving. To defuse the situation and out of fear, my friend was forced to give her the €3. An unacceptable scene bordering on extortion. Added to this was the disastrous service: we sat down and ordered seven pizzas at 8:30 PM. Despite repeated reminders and constant apologies from the staff ("yours are next"), the pizzas didn't arrive at the table until 10:30 PM. Waiting two hours for pizzas is a sign of serious disorganization. Combine this with the complete lack of customer protection from abusive and aggressive individuals at the door, and the overall assessment is overwhelmingly negative. We will never set foot in there again.

12/07/2026: A very beautiful beach in the Gulf of Policastro. Around a hundred umbrellas with double loungers and dedicated areas with three loungers and a giant straw umbrella. The rotunda with a bar and very friendly and helpful staff is excellent. You can enjoy lunch with locally sourced food. The beach is sandy, with a pebble shore and a rocky seabed, and the water gets deep right away. But the sea is worth a visit. It's quiet and ideal for families, especially teenagers. We had a great time and will return as soon as possible. Well done.

26/07/2026: I've been happy to return to this place, where the waiters are always very friendly and, all things considered, the food is average. But this time, I find it unacceptable to specifically ask for meat and find myself served a sinewy entrecote (probably vacuum-packed) with a dozen—no more—diced baked potatoes, and pay almost 55 euros for it: pure madness.

04/07/2026: Visiting the coast, we came from Spain. The pasta with sea urchins was excellent. The pasta with langoustines and cherry tomatoes was superb, the fish was excellent, and the wine was magnificent. The service was quick and efficient.

02/07/2026: I knew Cantuccio would be a disappointment, because I'd already been there once and didn't like it at all. I decided to go back, but the outcome was even worse than the first time. I ate the worst raw fish I've ever eaten: the shrimp and scampi were badly cleaned, with the shells not completely removed and the fillet (intestine) still present. So I had to clean them myself at the table. And they weren't fresh. The oysters were even worse: badly opened! The second course wasn't up to par either, as I ordered fish and grilled vegetables as a side, and they brought me a dry amberjack steak, and the vegetables were ridiculous. Obviously for the modest sum of over €100 per person.

12/07/2026: Pizza quality ruined by embarrassing service ​I dined at this pizzeria with a reservation for 9:30 PM. Despite a slight and tolerable delay for our table (we were seated at 9:50 PM) and a prompt order, our pizzas arrived at 11:20 PM. ​What made the situation unacceptable was the staff's handling of the issue. The restaurant manager made a patently false excuse about an "electric oven" malfunctioning (when the establishment notoriously operates with a wood-fired oven), offering a perfunctory apology lacking any real regret. It would have been enough to communicate the significant delay transparently from the beginning. ​A final note of absolute disgrace: no consideration was given to the final bill, not even a minimal token discount, but merely an attempt to make up for it by offering Nutella-filled strips at the end of the meal. A renowned restaurant isn't judged solely by its food, but also by the professionalism of its staff and its ability to handle unexpected events with respect for its customers. The quality of service definitely doesn't live up to its reputation.

02/05/2026: I frequent this restaurant regularly with my family, and I can say with absolute certainty that it's a must-try. Over the years and countless dinners, I've never found a single flaw or reason to be disappointed. The cuisine excels in everything, from the light and flavorful pizza to the meat and fish dishes. We sampled almost the entire menu and were thrilled with the deliciousness of the Neapolitan Genovese and the boscaiola, as well as the freshness of the sliced ​​meat and appetizers like the eggplant parmigiana, Mexican-style beans, or the original combination of cuttlefish and zucchini. The ultimate confirmation of their professionalism came at my graduation party. Every single request was accommodated: the staff, always extremely kind and attentive, decorated the place just how I wanted it, creating a magical atmosphere. They even prepared and decorated the cake, which was beautiful and delicious. My guests were delighted, impressed by the sheer abundance of dishes and the quality of the ingredients, all at absolutely fair and competitive prices. Dogs are welcome, and there are two rooms, one shared and one separate, where I've often held my family's birthday parties. For my graduation, I chose the main room because of the more elaborate decorations. It's also a great place for children; the owners are very kind and polite; I highly recommend it.

15/03/2026: A charming, family-run restaurant located near the Belvedere terrace in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio. The food is excellent, and the prices are fair. The pizza and fried foods are delicious; try the crocche, large and flavorful. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful waiters. I highly recommend it: excellent value for money. You can sit anywhere in the room, and you have a good view of the children playing, so it's excellent. The pizzas are good, as is the meat. Helpful staff and friendly valet parking.

11/06/2026: I went with my family; we ordered both the meat and the sandwich. Everything was delicious; the meat was truly excellent, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection. Even the burger in the sandwich—you can taste the quality of the meat. The space is also excellent; the rooms are large, and there's even a children's area (unfortunately, there's a charge for this; this could have been avoided).

The owners welcomed us with rare warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at ease, just like at home. The pizza is simply delicious, but an honorable mention absolutely goes to the escarole calzone; it was truly delicious. A place where excellent food meets exquisite hospitality. We will definitely be back.

12/05/2026: The idea isn't new, but it always makes an impression. Umberto and Antonella offer something different and interesting: pizzas made with sulphurous water, truly delicious. We chose a calzone and an ortolana. But there's so much more. The atmosphere is unique, as is the opportunity to sample carefully prepared local dishes paired with excellent wines, presented by Antonella herself, who is also a renowned sommelier. Recommended for refined palates and those who appreciate authenticity.

10/07/2026: I highly recommend it. We stopped by chance, encouraged by the reviews. A great place with a true Italian atmosphere. It's not geared towards tourists, which makes it even better. The best capricciosa I've ever had! The ingredients are made with love, and the pizza has wonderful whole olives. They even made focaccia especially for my son. And the prices – 19 euros for dinner with drinks for four people.

29/05/2026: Excellent pizza, cashier management needs improvement We were eight young people at Pampanini Pizzeria in Benevento. The pizza was very good, and the place was nice. Kudos to the kitchen and table service. The checkout experience was a shame: we wanted to pay "Roman style" (split the bill equally) and then each pay with what they had (cash or card). The cashier was insolent and arrogant, insisting that we all pay with the same method—either all cash or all card. For a group of eight young people, this is inconvenient and impractical. The place deserves it; the food gets a thumbs up. I hope you can better train the cashier staff, because this kind of thing risks losing customers.
