PizzAntica In Agropoli

We went for dinner one evening, and this time we ordered pizza, trying the authentic version, a pizza unlike any other: soft and crispy at the same time, very light, truly excellent, and the ingredients are definitely top-quality. The restaurant is spacious, and the play area is also very nice: the kids didn't want to leave.

Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to share, but my experience was excellent. You can order a whole pizza in a pizza pan or, even better, get several slices of different pizza flavors. Needless to say, the dough was perfect; the pizza was neither too thick nor too thin, and it was crispy. It was perfect, with a great texture, just the right amount of air bubbles, soft and crispy at the same time, and not dry at all! The ingredients were excellent, and each flavor had its own unique flavor. The only one I wouldn't recommend is the potato and ham one, as it was a bit dry. It seemed like the potatoes were old/long-cooked, and therefore dry. It could have used a little more cheese to make it more moist. The price was absolutely excellent: for 11 slices, two bottles of water, and a Coke, we paid €25.50.

The pizza al ruoto is very good, and the flavors are varied and imaginative... A must-try if you're in Agropoli.

Truly excellent pizza al roto! Crispy yet firm, with a wide variety of flavors and fair prices, especially considering the location. The best option is to grab a couple of slices and eat them on the go, but you can also sit at their tables (both inside and outside). The staff is friendly and helpful, even when there's a long line, which isn't a given. If you're looking for a classic restaurant-style pizza, this isn't for you; but if you want a good pizza al roto quickly, this is the right choice! (Reservations are not accepted.)

The pizza, available in many varieties, is delicious. Located downtown in the area leading up to the village of Agropoli Vecchia, it has outdoor seating and is a pleasant place to stop. The photos show the other location on the San Marco seafront.
