10/05/2026: Tonight, on a scale of one to ten, the rating is 1, and that's a lot. A restaurant I've known for over 25 years, always the best. Every time I booked a table, it was already a party at my house because we couldn't wait to get there. Today, May 9, 2026, I called at 7:45 pm hoping to find a table, but nothing. They took my reservation right away. We arrived at 8:30 pm, half-empty, all the tables free. In fact, we ate awful food and paid a lot. The room inside smelled incredibly like sewer, with slimy plates and encrusted forks. Yet, it was my favorite restaurant where I've always eaten divinely. I'm so sorry, but tonight you lost so many points!

21/04/2026: We were a table with five children. The orders were taken immediately, but the little ones' pizzas arrived last, after a significant wait. A pizza ordered with a ricotta-filled crust was served with ricotta on top. When we pointed this out, the waiter's response was, "Well, can't you just put it on the inside?" After another 15-20 minutes, another diner was informed that the pizza he had chosen was unavailable because the main ingredient (the one that gives the dish its name) was missing. He was therefore forced to quickly choose an alternative. The place wasn't crowded, which is why the inefficiency struck us as very strange.

29/04/2026: The restaurant is very tidy and welcoming, although the shift toward a management model closer to that of a chain is clearly noticeable. With several locations scattered throughout Naples, the originality of each individual location has given way to a more standardized and corporate efficiency. ​The Pizza: Undoubtedly the strong point. It remains excellent, faithful to tradition, and well-executed. ​The Service: Average. Friendly and quick enough, but lacking that touch of warmth one would expect from a historic Neapolitan pizzeria. ​The Price: In my opinion, a bit high considering the area. You're paying for the brand and the structure, slightly losing the quality-price ratio that usually characterizes the city's pizzerias.

18/04/2026: Not a perfect experience! The main problem was the wait: even though we were seated at a table, service was very slow because priority was given to takeout pizzas. I understand the importance of delivery, but those who choose to eat in should be given adequate attention. We waited far too long for our pizzas, while takeout orders continued to come in. One possible improvement would be to better prioritize orders, for example, by dedicating a time slot or managing takeout separately, so as not to penalize diners in the dining room. The food quality is good, but the wait negatively impacted the overall experience. I hope they can improve this aspect because there is potential.

03/04/2026: "An appetizer that first captivates the eyes and then the palate! 🐙 The octopus salad was incredibly fresh and tender, complemented by crunchy vegetables. The fried fish, served on a base of very thin matchstick potatoes, was light and not greasy. The presentation on the blackboard was beautiful, with a splash of color from the beetroot wafer. A perfect start! "A fish soup as it should be! 🦐 Extremely fresh ingredients: the shellfish are meaty and flavorful, immersed in a light cherry tomato sauce that enhances their natural flavor without overpowering it. The thin, crispy bread crouton is perfect for ensuring not a drop of sauce is lost. A simple, authentic, and carefully prepared dish. "The perfect ending! 🍓 This cheesecake in a glass is as beautiful as it is delicious. The cream is velvety and pairs wonderfully with the fresh strawberry coulis. I loved the crunch of the chocolate flakes and the freshness of the dried lemon. A balanced dessert, not too sweet and divinely presented. Must try!

19/04/2026: I went to dinner here with a friend last night, and I can say with certainty that I will never return. Let's start with a significant detail: there's a beautiful sign outside that says "Pizzeria and Restaurant," but after about 15 minutes, we discovered that pizza hasn't been made for a good two years. At that point, after having already ordered water, getting up and leaving seemed inappropriate (even though it probably would have been the best choice), so we decided to adapt and order something else. We both ordered well-done. After a while, a portion of sausage (8 pieces!) arrived, ordered for one person. If it wasn't possible to have a smaller portion, it would have been correct to mention it beforehand. Our question was answered with a "share!" Let's move on... Then my burger arrived: raw and completely flavorless. Next up came the grilled vegetables... and there's really not much to say about this: a tiny portion consisting of a slice of pepper cut into four strips, a slice of zucchini cut into three pieces, and a slice of eggplant cut into three pieces. More than "grilled vegetables," it's more like a simple sampling. Furthermore, despite us having dinner together, the dishes arrived at different times, effectively forcing us to eat separately. Conclusion: the prices are too high for the quality and quantity offered. The staff is neither particularly courteous nor rude, but it depends on who you happen to be at. The place is fairly clean, but be careful if you suffer from asthma: the place is small, and the use of grills at the table for meat creates a lot of smoke. Will I go back? Absolutely not, never again. In Pompeii, for the same price, you can find much better.

30/05/2026: We went to Pummaró on the recommendation of my brother, who had been there years before. We had a simple but superb pizza, delicious. The staff was kind and helpful. I felt right at home. I recommend going there.
