24/08/2025: My husband and I stopped by by chance for a road trip.
The place is elegant, welcoming, clean, and even romantic in its own way, with very pleasant background music.
The outside is lovely with a relaxing atmosphere.
The staff is very polite and helpful.
We chose the TRUFFLE PIZZA, MUST TRY!!! and the STUFFED CALZONE, SUPER DELICIOUS!!!
We couldn't have made a better choice.
The quality and price exceeded our expectations.
My sincere compliments for the choice and care taken with the raw materials.

12/10/2025: Pizzeria del Contadino is an institution in Aversa. I've been going there for several years, especially for takeout, and I've always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, especially Gerardina, who's fantastic. She manages to do at least three things at once (slicing pizzas, serving them, preparing them for takeout, answering the phone, and managing the cash register), all with a smile.
The pizza is delicious, a pan pizza with a tasty dough and excellent toppings, with a focus on vegetables and local produce. I recommend the pepperoni and mozzarella pizza, my favorite, but also try the Marinara del Contadino. The escarole pizza is also good. The four-cheese pizza is interesting, enhanced with a little salami. Excellent value.
21/05/2025: The pizzas are excellent in quality and quantity, the frying pan equally, the staff are all kind, polite and helpful, the atmosphere small and modest, but the taste and the quality of the cuisine make this also enjoyable.

25/08/2025: It's the pizzeria of my childhood, and everything has remained the same. Simple atmosphere, good pizza made with quality ingredients. Rosetta and her husband are always so sweet.
01/08/2025: A lovely little restaurant on the mountain road to Amalfi. The owner was very welcoming and had a nice chat about where we were from and where we had been. Her husband cooked the pizza using a traditional wood fuelled oven which we really enjoyed. Prices were very good.

29/04/2025: If you're going to Sacco for the Gola del Caldo, or to Roscigno Vecchia, this is the right choice for a bite to eat: excellent home cooking at more than reasonable prices.
The pasta with mushrooms was very good, the roast lamb even better.
The owner also kindly provided us with directions by phone, since GPS navigation systems in the area are going crazy.

03/10/2025: I've been to this pizzeria several times, and every time has been an incredible experience! The pizza is cooked to perfection, with a soft and light crust, and the toppings are always fresh and high-quality. But the real highlight of this place is the fried fish: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it's simply divine!
The service has always been impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. The place is cozy and clean, and the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming.
In short, if you love pizza and fried fish, you can't miss this place! Five stars without hesitation.

07/12/2025: As an appetizer, the classic frittatina was excellent: dry breading and a soft, succulent filling.
Pizza montanara (a cream of shredded vegetables and fried sausage), fried and baked with a multigrain dough and mixed seeds added during the final stage of cooking: an innovative and very tasty pizza.
Pizza with melt-in-the-mouth pancetta and mashed potatoes from Taburno: very tasty with high-quality ingredients. The "Birra del Borgo Ducale" craft beer was good. The only drawback was the over-lighting (for my taste) in the dining room. A well-deserved 50top pizza italy award.
01/12/2025: Nice and welcoming place, friendly and helpful staff. My pizza was good, with quality ingredients, but be careful when cooking it. My friends' pizzas were a bit undercooked (a shame considering the quality of the ingredients).

24/11/2025: I had a phenomenal experience at Acunzo! I ate one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Excellent service, welcoming atmosphere, and I noticed all the decor features The Napolitaner paintings, very original and contemporary. The pizza was top-notch Neapolitan fare, a true institution in Vomero. It was an exceptional family lunch, and I'll be back as often as I can. The dough and ingredients are top-notch!

The plates were cracked and dirty. The meat was burned.
They work very slowly. While I was eating, the waiter put salt packets on my knife. Who knows where those packets were and who touched them...
18/10/2025: I recently visited the Giovanni Junior Restaurant, and unfortunately, I have to say I wasn't entirely impressed with the experience.
The space is large and welcoming at first glance, but once seated, you notice a lack of attention to detail: simple tablecloths, a cold atmosphere, and rather inattentive service. The staff is friendly, but gives the impression of rushing, lacking any attention to the customer.
The main disappointment, however, was the food. The dishes were bland and flavorless, crudely cooked, lacking balance or attention to detail. The food arrived at the table with little attention to detail, even in its presentation, and everything seemed to be made with little passion. Even the simplest dishes, like pasta or meat, were bland, as if they lacked that little bit of seasoning or flavor that makes you remember a restaurant fondly.
The menu is extensive, but quality doesn't follow quantity. You get the feeling that speed is more important than quality.
Overall, a mediocre experience that doesn't make you want to return. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but it needs a lot more attention to detail in the kitchen and a little more care in the service to make you want to return.
