22/12/2024: Unfortunately I don't know what happened but there was a drop in quality on the pizza. I had dinner with friends (summer 2024) in addition to the heat under that roof and walls closed with transparent plastic, I'm sorry to say but the pizza was not good at all. We ate with friends and no one was happy. Let's hope it recovers because a few years earlier it was good and digestible.

16/03/2025: Pasta not al dente, completely raw as well as the swordfish! All inedible and sent back. Remade the pasta but still not good. No one apologized, neither the waiter nor the owner, for this disgusting thing! Never again!

22/02/2025: Un ambiente familiare ed accogliente seppur ricavato in un’unica grande sala ben curata e con angolo bar che sforna un’ottima pizza cotta nel forno a legna con un impasto leggero che la rende ancora più gustosa e digeribile. Tante le proposte a menù ma la tonno e cipolla bianca con un pizzico di piccante sopra è davvero una bontà! Prezzi medio bassi e comodo ed ampio parcheggio antistante il locale posto all’inizio dell’abitato.

01/05/2025: I fell in love with this pizza from the first bite! Thin dough - crispy, but not dry ✔️ Tomato sauce - perfectly seasoned, slightly sweet and super aromatic 🍅 Mozzarella stretching like a dream 🧀 Fresh and well-selected ingredients - nothing more, nothing less! Very nice service, very cozy atmosphere and Italian music in the background - total vibe! I will definitely come back because it was one of the best pizzas of my life! 10/10 – a must try for every fan of Italian food!

12/05/2025: It wasn't easy to find a place open in Castrovillari on a Monday for lunch....but in the end we did it.... It was a very positive experience... The exquisite food (tagliatelle with nduja, mushrooms and more and a cut of meat)... ....very fast service....but it must be said our table was the only one in the whole place... The clean environment, tastefully furnished, the functional and spotless bathrooms.... What can I say... it was worth it... I recommend it!!!!!

02/06/2025: We didn’t have a good experience . My risotto was too salty and flavor overpowering. When served asked, we explain and they never had a consideration like reduce on 1/2 price on my plate or no charge it or a free drink/dessert. I couldn’t eat and was like nothing for them.We were waiting at least a little consideration “on my plate” $16. I do not recommend this restaurant. Probably are too much better options in the area.

30/05/2025: Welcome back to Amantea! I haven't been back to Amantea and Sombrero for many years. We had a great time! Excellent food and fresh fish, generous portions! There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 artisanal spaghettoni all'amanteana and 2 paccheri, both exceptional, especially the spaghetti. Then we continued with 2 slices of grilled swordfish, 1 grilled cuttlefish, 1 tuna with Tropea onion and 2 mixed salads, superlative tuna! A bottle of white wine, 2 bottles of water, 1 pistachio tiramisu and 2 coffees to finish for €45 per person. Top price for the quality of the dishes! Friendly service. Unfortunately I only have the photo of the tuna and the dessert. We ended up at one of the most beautiful tables, in the corner with a view of the sea and the sunset. Even after years it is still the best!

16/09/2024: Nice place. Unfortunately you don't notice it as you pass by, you have to know it's there, otherwise you'll pass by. Friendly, non-invasive service. Excellent food.

04/09/2024: I was looking for a pizzeria and I found it: Pizzeria Gourmet Il granio. I book on the fly and go here for dinner. The dining room staff seats us, we book the pizzas and wait. The appearance of the pizza is not like the one in the photos seen (with a nice high crust), but tonight it's better this way. Well cooked pizzas (as requested by us), good and highly digestible. It didn't weigh me down at all. The bill was proportionate to the pizzas eaten.

03/06/2025: Stasera siamo ritornati con la mia famiglia in questo locale... che dire seguo su Facebook le dirette e a guardare i panini mi viene l'acquolina in bocca... è da tanto che volevo provare il panino 118 e questa sera era l'occasione. Che dire panino squisito e stra buonissimo... faccio i complimenti allo chef pane morbido e buonissimo per non parlare degli ingredienti che sono di ottima qualità e squisiti... complimenti a tutto lo staff persone simpaticissimi accoglienti ed educati... il mio obbiettivo è provare tutti i panini perché sembrano è sono squisiti

23/05/2025: Che bontà! All’Angolo del Gusto si mangia davvero benissimo. Abbiamo provato sia i panini che la pizza e sono entrambi eccezionali! I panini sono gustosi, abbondanti e di qualità, con un pane spettacolare, mentre la pizza è buonissima, ben condita e cotta alla perfezione. Le patate croccanti che accompagnano i piatti sono una vera dipendenza! Ci siamo tornati già tre volte e ogni volta è stato un piacere. Il prezzo è giusto, e il valore aggiunto è dato dal personale gentilissimo e super simpatico, che rende l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Un locale che merita davvero !!!consigliatissimo!!

20/03/2025: We activated in the restaurant and at first glance it looked like the Lampedusa refugee camp, we went up and there were bags of flour in plain sight that if the NAS saw it they would set fire to the place, the fried cutlet seemed more like human flesh than pork, the chips strictly bought expired at Eurospin, when we left I thanked the gentleman and I went away on my own two feet

19/03/2025: Venus? I expected a divine experience, but it ended up being more of a culinary hell. €15 per person and not even a CocaCola they had the decency to bring. The water, however, must have been the only thing they didn't mistake for 'precious'... Because if they really wanted to make me feel like I was on an intergalactic journey, they succeeded: an odyssey of survival. 24 of us went, but between the inedible food and the service that made a refugee camp look like a resort, we were all more worried about our digestion than about dinner. The schnitzel? Fried in the same oil as the fish, evidently. The flavor? More than fried, it seemed as if they had immersed it in a broth of piss and desperation. No, I'm not exaggerating, would you believe it? Stuff that not even a stray dog ​​would eat. In the end, a star shines brighter than the restaurant.

04/05/2025: Più volte sono stato in questo locale, a volte ho fatto recensione mediocre e a volte buone. Questa volta mi tocca fare un ottima recensione, aggiungendo che impasto della a pizza e gli ingredienti sono di ottima qualità, ottima scelta delle birre, tra le migliori sul mercato, ampia scelta di pizze, normali e gourmet, personale gentile, simpatico e sorridente, prezzi nella media, ampio locale e ben curato. Complimenti. Consiglio e ci ritorno

09/03/2025: Vado spesso in Calabria per vacanza e lavoro, difficilmente in questa zona ho trovato locali così curati ed eleganti. La soppressa maggiore è stata la pizza, di ottima qualità sia l’impasto fatto com farina integra macinata a pietra, ottima lievitazione e idratazione che la rendono molto digeribile, sia il toppimg fatto con cura, buona qualità dei prodotti e ottime ricette tutte gustose e bene equilibrate. Come dolce ho assaggiato una brioche fatta da loro ottima, si vede che con i lievitata ci sanno fare. Ho visto anche dei panini serviti ad un altro tavolo sembrava eccellenti. Il servizio abbastanza attento, però purtroppo i calabresi, pur essendo persone eccezionali, sorridono poco. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

18/05/2025: My review is based solely and exclusively on the service because unfortunately we did not have the chance to taste even one dish. Table for 2 people on Sunday, we sat down at 12:45 and the room was almost empty. We waited 45 minutes and no one came to take our order. When we pointed out to the waitress that we were still waiting, and that the tables that arrived after us had already finished eating, she replied that she was following the order of arrival. This was not true because in 45 minutes we had the opportunity to see people arrive and occupy the tables. At that point we decided to leave because, even though we pointed out the very long wait, no one came to serve us. Once we got up, we warned the entrance because I think no one in the room noticed. The bread was good anyway

16/05/2025: There were 3 of us for lunch. The terrace overlooking the sea was pleasant. The waiters were friendly but nothing overly so. However, like many restaurants in Sardinia, it was expensive and the food was nothing exceptional. The fish roe pasta was cold and really not to my taste. Another disappointment was the octopus on the plate of fried calamari, which is still not the same thing! In short, move on if you want to have a good time.
