18/09/2025: 😋😋 Wow! 😋😋🍕🍕 After a long, hot days sail we saw the Pizzeria Barrel wasn't too far from where we were anchored 🤔 We decided to get a pizza to eat on the boat ⛵. So glad we did for €14 we got a pizza that even the two of us found filling and Frittata as a side. The pizza was just what we needed, hot, a large size and delicious 😋😋 The toppings were fresh and just right and the base was amazing ♥️, the potato Frittata were hot and chunky, we couldn't finish them all to be honest. 04/10/2025: Very friendly staff and delicious Neapolitan pizza! Highly recommended (and they've always given me a receipt without even asking!). Be careful, though, there's one serious drawback: once you've tried their pizza, you won't be able to eat pizza from anywhere else. 🤣🤣

28/09/2025: Blade Runner has always been one of those historic pizzerias that, unfortunately, precisely because they're historic, have left their good habits and quality behind. I ordered takeout, calling ahead of time, of course. I asked what time I could pick up the pizzas, and was told "right away." I wonder what the point of such a response is if, when you arrive, you find a cheerful group of other customers waiting outside together, because your order is only taken once you show up and pay at the register. Despite the wait, I get home and open the pizzas. To my immense surprise, I find a pizza I hadn't ordered instead of the one I ordered—well, it can happen—except that when I tried the other pizza I ordered, with mushrooms, the taste in my mouth was of oil and water from the thawed mushrooms. The cashier was very kind, too; ironic if you hadn't understood. Dealing with customers is not a must, but if you must, at least don't show contempt.

04/09/2025: Everything was average, but the pasta and potatoes were delicious. Friendly service. Prices were a bit high.

24/08/2025: Maybe it wasn't the right evening... First, we asked for draft beer: it ran out. We settled for a bottle, because the second request never arrived. A mussels stew with pepper, where the bland and undercooked mussels were floating in a watery liquid devoid of any flavor, not even a drizzle of oil, garlic, or any other seasonings. The pepper was definitely added generously afterward (after the dish was cooked, before serving). The seafood cuoppo consisted only of fried anchovies and three small pieces of frozen cod with the skin still attached. Unfortunately, I was expecting a real seafood cuoppo... you know, that cone-shaped package that usually contains, as the name suggests, fried morsels of various fish, cod, octopus, calamari, shrimp, and not just anchovies!!! It would have been enough to write it on the menu or say it out loud. We added French fries to the order, because other types were also sold out. But were the ketchup and mayonnaise all out? Finally, the pizzas. Luckily, they were good. The outdoor setting was lovely, and the staff at the tables were friendly. An unsatisfactory experience.

21/09/2025: What a terrible place. We wanted to sit outside, but that wasn't possible because everything was reserved, but when we left, no one was there. There was only one waitress. She had to handle the takeout and the restaurant. It took ages for her to come and take a picture and bring the food. Several people were irritated. The pizza was black. Everything was absolutely terrible!!

08/11/2025: I've been coming here for my favorite pizza for 6 years, and I've never been disappointed. Each pizza is made with such care that you can taste it from the first bite. I've brought all my family and friends here to try it. You can tell there are people behind it who truly love what they do. It's not just a place where you eat well, it's a place that exudes warmth, consistency, and respect for the customer. Thanks to those who work there, because maintaining this quality for so long is a rare thing!!

24/08/2025: All pizzas available as gluten free, vegan (no cheese) by request. Very affordable & thin pizzas , went 3 times while my stay in the area, ideal for lunch & snack.

22/08/2025: After years, I'm returning to Soverato, and on a humid evening like no other, I decide to book a table at Miramare... A fantastic sea breeze accompanied us throughout the dinner. We ate divinely, and the "sfilatino" was a truly delicious surprise. Impeccable service and a reasonable bill. We'll be back soon.

31/08/2025: My friends and I called this beach club to see if there was a table for three. We were told we could go there within 15 minutes of calling. In reality, when we arrived after the 15 minutes indicated, we were told they'd seat us shortly, but it took an hour before we were actually given a table. Our order was taken by a waitress who wasn't particularly friendly, unlike the rest of the staff, who were much more welcoming. I ordered a mixed fried fish dish that didn't list sausages among the ingredients listed, but they were included in the dish. I personally don't eat pork, and if they had been listed, I would have had them removed before ordering. For me, it wasn't a big problem, but for someone with allergies or sensitivity to meat, it would have been more of a hassle; simply pointing them out would have been enough.

28/08/2025: We visited this place today with my friend and we absolutely loved everything. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t speak English, but it wasn’t a problem at all — we still managed to place our order without any issues. Everything was served quickly and smoothly, and the waiters were pleasant and friendly. They even helped us choose the perfect wine for the evening, which we truly appreciated. The atmosphere of this place is incredibly charming, and it definitely deserves a visit.

12/10/2025: Very dirty place, as soon as we sat down, the table was full of hair and sewage, reported to the waitress who comes with a dirty cloth and simply wipes it without detergent, the tuna and salami pizza arrived, the tuna was poor quality and had an unpleasant smell, called the owner and apologized saying to remake it, they use tuna offal (tuna scraps in a can), chips and arancini full of oil and dark in color, after all this the pizza chef arrives with a threatening air telling us to go away, in conclusion they wanted to pay the bill without having eaten and we were verbally attacked continuously by the son and the mother owner... terrible experience and a Saturday ruined without having eaten... I disregard everyone especially the poor kids who frequent without knowing what they could get into... I hope the NAS pays a visit very soon.... 🤕

28/08/2025: Everything was excellent. We went on the day the place was packed. In August, the wait is obvious, but the quality isn't. That's why we're happy to have found Sachsenhausen. Everything is fresh and cooked to order, and the staff are all very kind. Thank you, and we'll be back soon. Oh, and the pizza dough... super!

02/10/2025: Yesterday I ordered a sandwich, it arrived and it was wrong, I'm allergic to mayonnaise and in the sandwich there was only mayo, I called and told him of the mistake and if he could bring me another one as I had previously asked (with ketchup), she initially said she had to check the order, obviously she didn't believe me, then she understood the mistake and decided to send me the sandwich, instead of eating at 8:30 I ate at 9:30 because of them, and the best thing is that the first thing the delivery guy did was ask me back for the wrong sandwich from an hour and a half before😂 they hoped I had eaten it but I didn't eat it because I really am allergic but they definitely lost a customer, I really order often and you ask me for the sandwich back after an hour and a half? It had become a brick😂 unprofessional for me, you don't ask for the sandwich back after an hour, at most you apologize for the mistake for making me eat an hour later, negative experience, working with the customers is not for everyone.

01/10/2025: I wouldn't go back even if I were starving. The waitress, who I believe was also the owner, practically dictated what we were eating when we ordered. When I asked for the menu, she got irritated and replied, "You find menus in dives; here I only give you fresh food." She also started criticizing her age, saying, "How old are you? I'm 20 years older than you, you don't have to teach me how to run a restaurant." I tried to reply politely, "Excuse me, but why do you have to decide what I should eat? You're not offering me a meal; I'm paying for a service, and I just want to know what's available so I can choose according to my taste." As we continued with our order, we were told that she could only prepare a mixed appetizer and a single first course for everyone because a nearby table had booked earlier and "they needed to focus on them." An absurd reason, to say the least. I didn't want to reply or get up and leave, simply out of respect for the colleagues I was dining with: from that moment on, I remained silent. As if that weren't enough, I saw the same woman smoking in the next room, right near the cash register and the kitchen. Unacceptable. And to conclude: 5 appetizers, 8 first courses, 3 250ml Cokes... total €250. A terrible experience from every perspective: unprofessional, no freedom of choice, an environment with no respect for rules, and an exorbitant bill.

21/09/2025: Paid 54 euros for two starters, two first courses and water, nothing special, honestly the starter was of poor quality, I don't understand the price, given that on the menu I would have paid less, I won't be returning, the positive thing is the service, the waiters were super kind and courteous, shame about the rest
