27/09/2025: It took a while to serve us but the pizza was monumental

21/09/2025: The worst restaurant ever. We weren't allowed to sit outside because everyone was booked??? Everything was still empty afterward. You also had to get your own glasses because drinking wine from a carafe is pretty crazy. And the pizzas were burnt. The girl alone had to answer the phone, serve, and take the pizzas. What a terrible manager to do this to your staff. Definitely not a restaurant I recommend.

14/11/2025: A quiet pizzeria for a relaxing evening. The staff is friendly and offers decent service. There's a small indoor dining area where you can sit down and enjoy your meal without any hassle. It's located in the Pennello area between Vibo Marina and Bivona, on the main road that connects these two seaside resorts in the Vibo Valentia area.

08/11/2025: The atmosphere is very nice, the pizza is delicious and they bring it to you hot but not too hot.

23/09/2025: The pizza is average, the staff is unfortunately not very friendly, probably because it is small, it is not possible to manage a place with two people, there is a lack of staff, only one person takes the orders, manages the reservations, gets the toppings from the kitchen, serves the tables, even if it is unacceptable, as a result the delivery times are exhausting.

04/10/2025: Very friendly staff and delicious Neapolitan pizza! Highly recommended (and they've always given me a receipt without even asking!). Be careful, though, there's one serious drawback: once you've tried their pizza, you won't be able to eat pizza from anywhere else. 🤣🤣

28/09/2025: Blade Runner has always been one of those historic pizzerias that, unfortunately, precisely because they're historic, have left their good habits and quality behind. I ordered takeout, calling ahead of time, of course. I asked what time I could pick up the pizzas, and was told "right away." I wonder what the point of such a response is if, when you arrive, you find a cheerful group of other customers waiting outside together, because your order is only taken once you show up and pay at the register. Despite the wait, I get home and open the pizzas. To my immense surprise, I find a pizza I hadn't ordered instead of the one I ordered—well, it can happen—except that when I tried the other pizza I ordered, with mushrooms, the taste in my mouth was of oil and water from the thawed mushrooms. The cashier was very kind, too; ironic if you hadn't understood. Dealing with customers is not a must, but if you must, at least don't show contempt.

23/09/2025: Best pizza for a long time, the base was fresh and tasty, plenty of juicy toppings on the pizza too. Cooked with fresh ingredients while we waited 😋😋 Can't wait to go back. Thanks for the huge pizza 🍕👍🙏

18/09/2025: 😋😋 Wow! 😋😋🍕🍕 After a long, hot days sail we saw the Pizzeria Barrel wasn't too far from where we were anchored 🤔 We decided to get a pizza to eat on the boat ⛵. So glad we did for €14 we got a pizza that even the two of us found filling and Frittata as a side. The pizza was just what we needed, hot, a large size and delicious 😋😋 The toppings were fresh and just right and the base was amazing ♥️, the potato Frittata were hot and chunky, we couldn't finish them all to be honest. 23/08/2025: We had dinner in 7 waiting time almost an hour... for the pizza the dough was good but not enough toppings... peppered mussels and good seafood salad... fried fish mediocre!

26/08/2025: Beautiful location, fair prices for umbrellas, but the food left much to be desired. A fish appetizer cost €20, nice presentation but nothing exceptional. Paccheri with 4 mussels and 3 clams was disappointing. I recommend the location, not the food.

02/10/2025: Yesterday I ordered a sandwich (only ketchup, because I've been allergic to mayo since I was born), it arrived and it was wrong because we had put mayonnaise instead of ketchup, I called and told them of the mistake and if they could bring me another one as I had previously asked with ketchup, she initially said she had to check the order, then she realized the mistake and decided to send me the sandwich, instead of eating at 8:30 I ate at 9:30 because of them and the first thing they did was ask me for the wrong sandwich back from an hour before, (they hoped I had eaten it) but I didn't eat it because I really am allergic but they definitely lost a customer, unprofessional in my opinion, you don't ask for the sandwich back after an hour, at most you apologize for the mistake for making me eat an hour later and for the mistake while we were all eating I had to watch the others for an hour and wait for your sandwich.

31/08/2025: My friends and I called this beach club to see if there was a table for three. We were told we could go there within 15 minutes of calling. In reality, when we arrived after the 15 minutes indicated, we were told they'd seat us shortly, but it took an hour before we were actually given a table. Our order was taken by a waitress who wasn't particularly friendly, unlike the rest of the staff, who were much more welcoming. I ordered a mixed fried fish dish that didn't list sausages among the ingredients listed, but they were included in the dish. I personally don't eat pork, and if they had been listed, I would have had them removed before ordering. For me, it wasn't a big problem, but for someone with allergies or sensitivity to meat, it would have been more of a hassle; simply pointing them out would have been enough.

22/08/2025: After years, I'm returning to Soverato, and on a humid evening like no other, I decide to book a table at Miramare... A fantastic sea breeze accompanied us throughout the dinner. We ate divinely, and the "sfilatino" was a truly delicious surprise. Impeccable service and a reasonable bill. We'll be back soon.
