08/01/2026: There's not much to say about this fast-food joint that everyone knows so well. However, I must say that, of the many MCs I've frequented, this one deserves the most stars for the quantity and quality of its food. Located in the La Gru shopping center, it offers all the services typical of this chain.

18/08/2025: A truly beautiful place, with a breathtaking view even at night. Typical Calabrian pizza, and the penne all'arrabbiata dish is superb!
The local wine, produced on site, is delicious.
The granita is a must!
Reasonable prices.

04/09/2025: Clean environment, courteous and friendly staff.
Normal wait times.
The pizza is crispy with excellent leavening, fresh ingredients, and the quality is evident.
Normal prices, a variety of options, and excellent customer service.
In the summer, if you order takeout, I recommend booking in advance so you can at least get it at the time you choose.

25/08/2025: The location is beautiful, with a panoramic terrace overlooking the old Saracena. Service is quick and friendly despite the large crowd. Excellent pizzas, equally excellent value. Recommended.

15/08/2025: We were truly speechless…
When ordering, I specifically asked that certain things I don't eat be omitted from my plate. The response was a reassuring "no problem." After a while, the plate arrived… with precisely the things I'd asked to be removed. I mentioned this, and the response was: "Well, but that's how we do it..." I was already incredulous. Oh well…
For the little girl, I asked for fries and was told they don't make them. Fine, never mind.
But the final surprise came when, as it was time to leave, I saw that the next table was serving… fries!
We were all literally speechless.
An experience that could only be described as disappointing: lack of customer service and zero consistency.
What a shame!

After a long, hot days sail we saw the Pizzeria Barrel wasn't too far from where we were anchored 🤔 We decided to get a pizza to eat on the boat ⛵. So glad we did for €14 we got a pizza that even the two of us found filling and Frittata as a side. The pizza was just what we needed, hot, a large size and delicious 😋😋 The toppings were fresh and just right and the base was amazing ♥️, the potato Frittata were hot and chunky, we couldn't finish them all to be honest.
The night before we set sail we went back for another pizza 🍕, we will definitely be back 👍

We've been coming here for years. Simple dishes but very tasty.
02/09/2025: Truly excellent, both the owner and the young man who works there are friendly and quite helpful. The pizza is truly excellent, both stuffed and Margherita. I recommend the 4 Formaggi, which is really good. The free cover charge is also nice and convenient, so you really get what you pay for. Recommended for both families and solo travelers. That said, I'll be back as soon as I can.

27/01/2026: I wanted to go and eat a pizza on the terrace with my family (12 people).... I was kindly warned that it would be difficult to eat on the sea side since they reserve it for those who order restaurant food.... I didn't know there were first-class customers and second-class customers.... Draw your own conclusions!! ..... of course you reserve the "best" place for those who spend the most.... I should have known.... forgive my lack of wit!!!
26/08/2025: Beautiful location, fair prices for umbrellas, but the food left much to be desired. A fish appetizer cost €20, nice presentation but nothing exceptional. Paccheri with 4 mussels and 3 clams was disappointing. I recommend the location, not the food.

11/09/2025: Unfortunately, after eating well, the girl gave me the receipt, and as soon as I heard the price, I had a doubt. I pointed it out, thinking you'd forgotten to include the cover charge. Instead, as soon as I scanned the QR code in the car, I saw the pizzas priced 2 euros higher than the paper menu. To recap, we ordered 2 empire pizzas with porcini mushrooms, so 2 euros each. On the paper menu, they're 8 euros each, and an Ichnusa pizza from 66 euros is 0.4 euros.
Well done, Ichnusa, 4.50, pizzas 23 euros plus 4 cover charge, 31.50.
Well done 👏 👏 👏 for being the first time...

Short wait, impeccable service, attentive waiters, not to mention the excellent pizzas.

22/08/2025: After years, I'm returning to Soverato, and on a humid evening like no other, I decide to book a table at Miramare... A fantastic sea breeze accompanied us throughout the dinner. We ate divinely, and the "sfilatino" was a truly delicious surprise. Impeccable service and a reasonable bill. We'll be back soon.

Let's start by saying that not all the pizzas arrived; some were completely raw, with the dough still soft, practically inedible, and the quality of the product was unacceptable.
I definitely won't be returning.

Very proper.
The restrooms, however, desperately need work.
12/10/2025: This meal was so average, my worst in italy. The environment was lovely but it seemed i was not welcome here at all. The guy that seated me went and sat down to look at his phone. Another man saw this and grabbed me a menu. The meal was fairly quick to come out. I was looking around and saw other tables had bread. Eventually I was given some but offered no table water. 2 Euro coperto for poor service. I do not recommend this place.
