17/10/2025: Everything is delicious and fresh. I recommend it.

12/10/2025: A truly unpleasant experience. Orders aren't served in the order they arrive; everything is done "by feel," resulting in you being served after many other tables that arrived up to a half hour later, even though you arrived first. Dissatisfaction is widespread. A table of young people next to us left after waiting over an hour and a half for their food. Another table had their orders wrong, and instead of apologizing, the waiter continued to rant about them... the mussels were very good, as usual, but the rest of the dishes were far below expectations. Compared to a few years ago, I absolutely no longer recommend this place. The next door place, "I due fratelli," is much, much better; both the service and the food are significantly superior.

09/09/2025: A lovely bar,cafe on the beach in Vilammare. Had food available,drinks. You can hire sunbeds a d pedallos here.

21/08/2025: A great spot for lunch overlooking the sea. We recommend the fried fish and the paccheri with mussels and shrimp.

16/02/2026: I arrived at 9:30 PM and ordered just two very basic pizzas, which arrived at 11:30 PM. When ordering, they asked for double mozzarella on the pizza, but they forgot to add it, and the entire crust was charred. After complaining about the two-hour wait, I didn't receive an apology, just the excuse: "The place was busy." I recommend you improve this aspect, because a full place doesn't justify a two-hour wait for two pizzas.

16/09/2025: I'm only reviewing the food since I stopped in for a quick lunch. Service was quick; my dish arrived about 3 minutes after ordering. I had a caprese salad and a Nastro beer. I would have expected a slightly larger portion than the caprese, given that it cost me €10. Still, it was good. The tomato sauce was plain. A fairly light dish. You can sit down after 3:00 PM, since I arrived a few minutes late. Coffee included. All for €14.

16/10/2025: A very nice place where you can find excellent food and special people with big hearts. Napoli pizza with friarelli and sausage isn't good... but it's amazing. Chicken al mattone... divine. Then there's the owner and the head waiter, Pasquale, with a heart as big as a house, the pizza chef with golden hands, in short... a pizzeria restaurant discovered by chance on a Thursday in October 2025... that will remain in my heart ♥️ The negative reviews certainly refer to a place with the same name but in another location.

29/07/2025: I can only applaud the lead actor's great performance. I'll start by saying that a few years ago we went to Cocis in Pizzo, near the shopping center, and twice, even though the chicken and pizza were good, they always treated us the same way: a higher bill, and when we asked for a detailed receipt, they added other dishes. We arrived on July 26th, 25th, and we ordered chicken and pizzas for a group of about 15 people. The first thing I said to the friends I was sitting with was that a few years earlier in Pizzo, they had tried to cheat me with the price twice. I have to say that the food is good, both the pizza and the chicken, but the bill remains the real price. When it came time to pay the bill, the man who had greeted us showed up with the classic handwritten note: TOTAL 300 euros. After a quick calculation, we immediately realized there was a problem, and the waiter who did the calculations told us that we hadn't even been charged for the children's first courses (2/3 penne with tomato sauce). So, already with our previous experience, we asked for the itemized bill, and then, like magic, the first courses appeared again. To avoid unnecessary words, I looked at the menu and realized that the wines we ordered had been increased in price to bring the bill to the round figure of 300... APPLAUSE for the third time... COCIS, BRILLIANT IN THE KITCHEN AND PHENOMENAL AT COUNTING... Of course, as soon as we pointed this out, they justified themselves by saying that the menus had been poorly designed and the bill had been adjusted... OBVIOUSLY. With this I just want to make a note to the managers of this place, you are good at cooking and you have a beautiful place, so you absolutely must not risk incurring any fines or anything else, to recover a few more euros it is not worth it and ABOVE ALL THE CUSTOMER IS SACRED... he is the one who goes where he is treated well and does not deserve to be cheated

06/07/2025: An excellent pizzeria where you can spend a relaxing evening and, above all, eat truly well... We opted for the pizza round for €20 per person, which consisted of: an appetizer of French fries, warm focaccia, and a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and olives. Then we moved on to the pizza, which we sampled in five different flavors, all excellent. To finish, a pizza with Nutella. P.S. The pizza round also includes unlimited water and a soft drink each. Bravi, bravi, bravi.

16/02/2026: I called for information and the girl was rude and arrogant. They also allow dogs, for a fee of course, but they can't access many areas of the property, so I have to pay for the dog and leave it in the room? Don't write for friendly at this point. I won't recommend it to anyone.

16/02/2026: It's a fake, dog-friendly hotel. Dogs aren't allowed in many areas. Furthermore, the reception staff is very rude. A huge disappointment.

31/10/2025: Craving an aperitivo, I found myself there—unfortunately, I might add. The gentlemen, then, acted as if we weren't there; they brought us two bruschettas with cherry tomatoes and an open sardine (the garnish was from a can, most likely from the sardine itself) on a single plate. The spritzes, which were also hand-carried and without a tray, came to €8 each (if I'd gone to Milan's central station, I'd have spent less). The two-star atmosphere honestly reminds me of a kebab shop, which, judging by the plastic chairs and tables filthy with leftovers and insects, takes me back to the golden days of when I was a youngster after an incredible evening. PS: They won't give you a receipt even if you pay a fortune.

18/09/2025: I happened upon this place by chance and found a quiet, no-frills atmosphere. I ate a plate of home-made pasta and a "Sicilian" pizza. I was satisfied and I compliment the two young girls, one serving at the tables (kind and polite) and the other at the pizza oven (perfect cooking!!). Compliments to both of them.

03/01/2026: Usually good pizza, but on Thursday, January 1st, I ordered a white pizza with mozzarella, sausage, and fries, and it was a disaster! I basically ate only the dough... the mozzarella was nonexistent, in fact, you could see the pizza had holes in it, and the sausage and fries didn't arrive!!!! Make me pay 1 euro more... give me a pizza!!! I never would have written this, but I'm doing it because, once I saw the disaster, I called, and the person who answered told me this was our pizza and that they had other calls on the line. 04/09/2025: The place is located in a fairytale natural setting, practically attached to the picturesque olive tree rock, and this is the main feature. It's a shame, however, that the spaces of the structure are very retro and poorly maintained, as are the rooms. Overall, we were welcomed well, although perhaps given the tiredness of the end of the season, we had an adequate approach. My advice is not a criticism. It would take very little to improve and enrich the structure and offer more modern comforts in step with the times, given the current cost line.

19/08/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant, mostly seafood-based. I'd particularly like to mention the struncatura with local tuna, a generous portion and exceptional quality—a must-try! The spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the pizza was excellent! The unparalleled view of the Scoglio dell'Ulivo and the sound of the waves provide a splendid backdrop. Recommended.

08/09/2025: September 8th: Terrible welcome, rude staff. "You have to be completely right or you'll be kicked out." These were the words, perhaps just because they're young. However, it's not acceptable for customers to always be right, even if they can be fanatical. Otherwise, this place has nothing to offer. There's no music. The only problem is the sunbeds and the unpleasant staff. I'll add that I just left the beach, and after reading the review, they even made fun of me.

25/08/2025: Gorgeous location, on Paola's stunning seafront. They have a restaurant, bar, and beach club, and have been family-run for many years. The outdoor spaces could definitely use some updating, but overall, I appreciated the fact that they were open on the seafront, which is already sadly deserted these days with many restaurants empty. They were even serving fresh croissants at 11 p.m., which was great. Fast service and fair prices. As for the fish dinner (don't you dare order meat here), the food is fresh and generally good. They also have a children's menu, and free parking is available in front of the restaurant. A place with tons of potential, but unfortunately, it hasn't quite blossomed as it deserved.
