18/09/2024: When I was in Scalea, I ate several types of pizza there for the first time a year ago. They were damn good. This year I repeated and stand by my opinion. The best dough, well-selected ingredients, the best tomato sauce.... Even ingredients such as shrimps and pistachios that don't go together at first glance... on the Pesto pizza... crazy!! I recommend it to everyone.... Anyway, whichever one you choose, you won't be disappointed...😁 If you're in Scalea, be sure to visit...

31/08/2024: We've been getting pizza here for years when we're on holiday and we've always had a great time. The calzones and arancini are delicious. Super rocket pizza!!!

15/10/2024: Review is regarding the RESTAURANT: By far most disappointing experience in the otherwise charming area. Here's why: - Biggest NO was the service. The waitress avoided all kinds of interaction. She was rather unfriendly, and took wrong orders. She brought wrong dishes, threw them on the table leaving us apalled. Her dismissive demeanor, lack of professionalism, and her attempt to charge us with the water we had ordered, but never received, was the main reason for the review. - The food was not much better than the service. The grilled fish was mistakenly swapped by the most goopy plate of risotto. The lasagne was the saddest dish, mainly composed of a few sheets of pasta. Portion size was so small, especially the lasagne wouldn't have satisfied a child. + the grilled fish, which only arrived after we ran after the waitress to correct, was quite good, although overshadowed by the bad service. We left after 30 mins, still hungry and feeling mistreated, but tried to stay as friendly as we could. The copa fee was definitely undeserved. Please review your staff morale.

07/10/2024: The service was quick - there were few visitors - and extremely unfriendly. It's a shame we didn't leave the place straight away. Pizza and spaghetti were okay. The house wine was a disaster. There was nothing else in response to our comments. We have been traveling through Italy for 2 weeks. That was the lowest point. Very unfortunate.

24/08/2024: Dopo alcuni minuti di ritardo per traffico , si sono venduti le pizze dicendo che non bisognava fare ritardo e che la prenotazione delle pizze era uno scherzo , quindi in breve se la sera volete mangiare non fate tardi oppure non ordinate da loro

08/03/2025: Mai più poco organizzati in tutta la sala ci sono 2 camerieri poco presenti le bibite sono arrivate dopo un ora il cibo scadente non lo consiglio proprio anzi non so come fa ad essere ancora aperto

08/03/2025: Locale veramente lento nel suo lavoro , con DUE camerieri per tutto il locale. Avendo prenotato già il tavolo , sono passati due ore e ancora manco la pizza ne le birre sono arrivati. Troppi tavoli ammassati fra di loro , ambiente troppo chiuso e senza spazio per stare tranquilli .

15/09/2024: Ci siamo trovati di passaggio di ritorno da Diamante e ci siamo fermati per cena con il bambino. Entriamo e dopo dieci minuti senza che nessuno ci ricevesse arriva il cameriere! Personale educato e gentile per l'amor di Dio. Il locale nulla di chÈ, fermo agli anni 90 ..... ma da molto tempo!!! Vista l'ora ci sediamo e ordiniamo, nel guardare i prezzi a dir il vero ci spaventiamo un pane pizza dai 12 ai 16€, le pizze andavano dalla margherita (se non erro) 6€ ai 16€! Ordiniamo una cotoletta con patatine, una marinara e una diavola con nduja! Ceniamo, arrivano le pizze tutte cornicione, la mia quadrata discrete nulla di particolare x giustificarne i prezzi! La cotoletta era coperta dalle patatine , trovata era una cotoletta piccola anche per un bambino, anche se di pollo vero, ma ciò non ne giustifica il prezzo di 14€. Alla fine vado a pagare La Diavola da 8€ era arrivata a 10,50 (spero per l'aggiunta della nduja) la cotoletta era passata dai 14€ a 16€ ! Pago e non dico nulla non ki andava di fare polemiche! Alla fine 42€ costo per me esorbitante per la quantità e la qualità della materia prima utilizzata! Spero che l'aumento del dei prezzi da me subito in modo ingiustificati aiuti i gestori a migliorare il locale la qualità della roba e del servizio!!

04/09/2024: It offers a wide range of gluten-free products: from fried foods, to second courses, to sandwiches and pizzas. The pizza is very good. For the rolls it is advisable to call and book, as they explained to me that at least an hour of leavening is needed. Otherwise the place is very nice and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

06/03/2025: In the end, a place to eat, I wasn't particularly impressed, the food is good and the prices are a little high, I will try it again in the future to update the review, come on, I took it on the wrong evening.

12/10/2024: I ate really well, everything was perfectly organized to celebrate a 60 year wedding anniversary. The staff were kind and professional, helping to make the atmosphere even more pleasant. The location was fantastic, by the sea, and we enjoyed a delicious fish-based menu, perfect for a restaurant specializing in seafood cuisine. Thank you Mario and family from the De Vita family!

11/10/2024: Sostato con camper in area con scarico. Il proprietario ci ha accolto con tanta disponibilità e gentilezza. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante annesso con cibo ottimo e location vista mare . Ottimo il servizio ma ancora di più le pietanze superlative . Cozze con la nduja , spaghetti allo scoglio e spigola alla griglia . Materia prima freschissima . Eccellente.

28/01/2025: Praia a Mare and its surroundings were a great discovery and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! (July 2024) Excellent location for visiting the Island of Dino (practically opposite), Maratea and Christ the Redeemer, the Arco Magno of San Nicola Arcella and for being able to immerse yourself in the mountains and live the rafting experience. Room and all common areas of the village very clean and tidy, staff always friendly and available 24 hours a day, excellent food and quite efficient table service thanks to Natale, our courteous and friendly waiter who kept us company throughout the week! I recommend trying the pizzeria in the village because we have never eaten such good Neapolitan pizza! We also really appreciated the nice little train/shuttle that took us to the beach and the possibility of being able to leave the car in the village literally in front of the room where you are staying was excellent. It is a very quiet environment and especially suitable for families with children, also because this year the entertainment wasn't that great but at least the little ones managed to have fun! Perhaps the entertainment was the only flaw but, on the other hand, after an intense day, tiredness made itself felt and therefore you immediately returned to your room after dinner or you could be taken to Praia a Mare by a free shuttle always proposed by the village. We will take with us a beautiful memory of this holiday for the people we met and the crazy places that are there... Although, unfortunately, a week was not enough for us to visit the whole area, so this could be a good reason to return! 😄

10/03/2025: Arrivati alle 20:45,alle 23:30 ancora dovevamo cenare ,a parte un misero,ma costoso antipasto...a tutto ciò aggiungerei la mancata accoglienza e i modi di fare pari a 0,che oserei dire MOLTO anticonvenzionali......SCONSIGLIATISSIMO

08/03/2025: Orario di arrivo 21.00 alle 23.15 abbiamo solo ingerito un misero antipasto che ricorda gli anni della guerra!! ASPETTIAMO UNA SEMPLICE MARGHERITA 🤷🏻‍♀️ Il personale anziché scusarsi ci dice che sono in linea nei tempi PESSIMOOOOOOO

07/11/2024: Location spaziale. Una terrazza sul mare! Abbiamo degustato alcuni antipasti proposti dallo Chef come le alici con bruschette e un sauté di cozze. Le alici davvero fresche e polpose deliziose una volta adagiate sulle bruschette condite con olio locale.le cozze erano uniche. Non grandi ma davvero saporite. Le migliori che abbia mangiato ad oggi. Poi, su altro consiglio dello Chef, abbiamo preso un filetto di tonno pinna gialla alla piastra, leggermente scottato. Delizioso e saporito. Il tutto contornato da un'insalata tipica locale con pomodorini, insalata, olive, cipolla e peperoncino fresco. Una bella bottiglia di vino bianco ci ha fatto compagnia per il pasto. Prima del caffè ci siamo fatti fare un sorbetto personalizzato dallo Chef, con fondo di limoncello locale e una spolverata di caffè. Davvero sapori ottimi. Personale molto cordiale e carino. La spesa è giusta se capisce la qualità delle materie prime e anche della location. Sicuramente da ripetere!

28/09/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo posto, a mio parere , il più bello di Crotone per come è situato, in pratica, pranzi o ceni in mezzo al mare. Cibo buonissimo, i proprietari Sergio e Tessy, sono gentili, disponibili e professionali. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente.
