08/09/2025: September 8th: Terrible welcome, rude staff. "You have to be completely right or you'll be kicked out." These were the words, perhaps just because they're young. However, it's not acceptable for customers to always be right, even if they can be fanatical. Otherwise, this place has nothing to offer. There's no music. The only problem is the sunbeds and the unpleasant staff. I'll add that I just left the beach, and after reading the review, they even made fun of me.

25/08/2025: Gorgeous location, on Paola's stunning seafront. They have a restaurant, bar, and beach club, and have been family-run for many years. The outdoor spaces could definitely use some updating, but overall, I appreciated the fact that they were open on the seafront, which is already sadly deserted these days with many restaurants empty. They were even serving fresh croissants at 11 p.m., which was great. Fast service and fair prices. As for the fish dinner (don't you dare order meat here), the food is fresh and generally good. They also have a children's menu, and free parking is available in front of the restaurant. A place with tons of potential, but unfortunately, it hasn't quite blossomed as it deserved.

08/11/2025: Terrible service. After a 15-minute delay, they made a wrong delivery. We contacted the restaurant, but they didn't answer our multiple calls, to the point where we had to contact the delivery guy, who informed us that, despite their mistake, it was no longer possible to make another pizza because "they had run out of dough," much less issue a refund. A terrible experience, I strongly advise against it.

12/10/2025: Very dirty place, as soon as we sat down, the table was full of hair and sewage, reported to the waitress who comes with a dirty cloth and simply wipes it without detergent, the tuna and salami pizza arrived, the tuna was poor quality and had an unpleasant smell, called the owner and apologized saying to remake it, they use tuna offal (tuna scraps in a can), chips and arancini full of oil and dark in color, after all this the pizza chef arrives with a threatening air telling us to go away, in conclusion they wanted to pay the bill without having eaten and we were verbally attacked continuously by the son and the mother owner... terrible experience and a Saturday ruined without having eaten... I disregard everyone especially the poor kids who frequent without knowing what they could get into... I hope the NAS pays a visit very soon.... 🤕

10/12/2025: Everything is very good, they stock every product, for those on a diet, vegan, or following a gym diet, etc. I always get the pizza with lactose-free mozzarella, zucchini, cooked ham, and pumpkin, or four cheeses, and it's always fresh, lactose-free. They also have focaccia with Nutella spread on it. The pizzas are soft and crispy, with a nice golden crust. Everyone is very kind, humble, and friendly. Most of the time, I have it delivered to my home. The delivery man is also very kind.

18/11/2025: If there were a zero, I'd give it a zero! We ordered two sandwiches, totaling €13.00, one with cutlet, salad, chips, and mayonnaise, and the other with turnips, sausage, and potatoes. So: raw sandwich dough, stale salad (it tasted like it was taken from the garbage, even from the taste), raw chips, and a charred cutlet. The rest of the ingredients were of terrible quality. Let's hope they never get inspected, but one thing's for sure: we'll never set foot in there again!

12/09/2025: We went for dinner two nights in a row. The first night, we ordered two pizzas. The second night, we ordered a plate of seafood pasta, which was good, and a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms, which I wasn't happy with because, upon eating it, I immediately realized it was frozen food from the "quattro salti in padella" brand. If this is the treatment, I don't think we'll be back.

07/08/2025: Although the food was good, the owner and staff were an absolute disaster. I ordered a meal and one drink – a 1-liter bottle of cola. The waiter brought a smaller one, so I pointed it out, and he exchanged it for the one I had ordered. But when it came time to pay, I discovered that the bill was too high. I went to the staff to ask them to correct the mistake, but no one spoke English. I tried to communicate using a translator on my phone, but the owner completely ignored it. He said the cola had been ordered and opened (by the waiter), so I had to pay for it. I tried to explain that it wasn’t fair, but he didn’t listen to me at all. In the end, he rudely told me that since I was in Italy, I should speak Italian, not English. In my opinion, this was totally inappropriate, and the owner was very aggressive – he made rude gestures and spoke to us in a disrespectful way. One thing is certain – I will never go back there again

02/01/2026: I went for a spa everything was beautiful, clean, comfortable. Both the owner, Mr. Gianfranco, and the spa staff were very kind, helpful, and efficient. I will definitely return and recommend it.

01/01/2026: I stayed at the Hotel Resort Roscianum in Rossano Calabro for the New Year's Eve celebrations, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The property, enormous in size alone, gives the impression of being completely neglected and left to decay. It needs radical and immediate renovations, not just simple patching. The rooms, while quite large, are furnished with old, worn, dilapidated, and unsightly furniture, completely incompatible with the very idea of ​​a "resort." The bathroom was the lowest point of our stay: poorly functioning toilets, a shower in questionable sanitary conditions, with obvious signs of neglect, wear, and poor cleanliness. A frankly unacceptable situation. The reception staff, who are also owned by the same property, were rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional, incapable of addressing complaints with respect and offering no concrete solutions, limiting themselves to superficial justifications. Breakfast was embarrassing, to say the least: old and stale croissants, almost no choice, and nothing truly edible. The service was unworthy even of a very low-end guesthouse. New Year's Eve dinner was a complete disaster: inedible appetizers, obviously old, overcooked, and completely flavorless fish. It was offensive to the guests and far from what a New Year's Eve dinner should be. New Year's Eve lunch exceeded all expectations: they were unable to provide all guests with the expected meat course. Faced with protests, the owner and the inspector justified themselves by declaring that the meat had run out, replacing it with a cutlet with an unpleasant and suspicious smell, absolutely unacceptable in every respect. In conclusion, a stay to forget. A run-down structure, sloppy management, poor service, and appalling food. A place not worth choosing, especially for important events like New Year's Eve. The only positive thing to note is the excellent organization of the party, curated by true professionals, and the professionalism and helpfulness of the dining room staff, who, despite everything, tried to salvage an otherwise disastrous situation.

20/08/2025: The food was very good, but one thing I didn't like at all was that they didn't give us the prices for what we ordered, and when it came to the bill, we ended up paying a lot. It's true that everything is fresh fish, but from reliable sources, the prices of the fish are different to those of the locals, so I felt a bit cheated, as they charge us tourists different prices... considering we've been coming here for years and know the place well.

Chicken al mattone... divine. Then there's the owner and the head waiter, Pasquale, with a heart as big as a house, the pizza chef with golden hands, in short... a pizzeria restaurant discovered by chance on a Thursday in October 2025... that will remain in my heart ♥️ The negative reviews certainly refer to a place with the same name but in another location.

29/07/2025: I can only applaud the lead actor's great performance. I'll start by saying that a few years ago we went to Cocis in Pizzo, near the shopping center, and twice, even though the chicken and pizza were good, they always treated us the same way: a higher bill, and when we asked for a detailed receipt, they added other dishes. We arrived on July 26th, 25th, and we ordered chicken and pizzas for a group of about 15 people. The first thing I said to the friends I was sitting with was that a few years earlier in Pizzo, they had tried to cheat me with the price twice. I have to say that the food is good, both the pizza and the chicken, but the bill remains the real price. When it came time to pay the bill, the man who had greeted us showed up with the classic handwritten note: TOTAL 300 euros. After a quick calculation, we immediately realized there was a problem, and the waiter who did the calculations told us that we hadn't even been charged for the children's first courses (2/3 penne with tomato sauce). So, already with our previous experience, we asked for the itemized bill, and then, like magic, the first courses appeared again. To avoid unnecessary words, I looked at the menu and realized that the wines we ordered had been increased in price to bring the bill to the round figure of 300... APPLAUSE for the third time... COCIS, BRILLIANT IN THE KITCHEN AND PHENOMENAL AT COUNTING... Of course, as soon as we pointed this out, they justified themselves by saying that the menus had been poorly designed and the bill had been adjusted... OBVIOUSLY. With this I just want to make a note to the managers of this place, you are good at cooking and you have a beautiful place, so you absolutely must not risk incurring any fines or anything else, to recover a few more euros it is not worth it and ABOVE ALL THE CUSTOMER IS SACRED... he is the one who goes where he is treated well and does not deserve to be cheated

12/10/2025: A truly unpleasant experience. Orders aren't served in the order they arrive; everything is done "by feel," resulting in you being served after many other tables that arrived up to a half hour later, even though you arrived first. Dissatisfaction is widespread. A table of young people next to us left after waiting over an hour and a half for their food. Another table had their orders wrong, and instead of apologizing, the waiter continued to rant about them... the mussels were very good, as usual, but the rest of the dishes were far below expectations. Compared to a few years ago, I absolutely no longer recommend this place. The next door place, "I due fratelli," is much, much better; both the service and the food are significantly superior.

29/08/2025: We visited this restaurant this evening. The food was excellent, quite substantial, and the service was excellent. The staff was very professional and friendly, and attentive to customer needs. Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend this place. One of the best. Great prices. We'll be back soon ☺️.
