07/12/2025: I was there with my family, unfortunately it was all negative. We had 3 grilled fish and a mixed fried fish, the grilled fish was burnt and the fried fish was soft and greasy, the hot house white wine was served in a carafe placed inside the ice bucket and to finish it off, lemon sorbet made up of 3 scoops of ice cream with a little vodka, all this with a truly excessive price both for the place that needs renovating and for the quality of food and service.

18/05/2026: A truly comfortable atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff! We stopped here for a quick lunch break after classes at my university, and this is already the second time I've brought my girls, who come from various parts of Calabria. The food is excellent, and the pizza is simply delicious. The girls raved about the experience! It will definitely become a regular stop for our future academic breaks. 05/05/2026: The building is quite dated, and the bathrooms are quite run-down. For one night, you can go and have dinner, which wasn't bad. The view of the sea and the beach right below is good.

31/05/2026: From the moment you enter, you immediately realize it's a pleasant and welcoming place. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful, ready to accommodate their guests' needs. The food is truly exceptional: top-quality local produce, traditional dishes prepared with local ingredients, and truly delicious dishes. It's hard to ask for more; it's definitely one of the best in the entire area. Highly recommended.

04/06/2026: At Caravaggio, you can enjoy a variety of excellent products, from appetizers to pizzas. The quality of the ingredients is evident throughout, as is the dedication put into preparing the dishes. 💯 The place isn't very large, with plenty of space between tables, and it's tastefully decorated. The waiter was very friendly, helpful, and courteous! 🌟

25/04/2026: Well done. A pizza with a dough and a method that yields a very personal product. The ingredients are carefully selected, as are the flavor combinations. The savory maritozzo with octopus and chicken curry is superb. The wait staff is very knowledgeable. Service is fast. The restaurant is modern, understated, and clean.

Since 2026, the menu has had new specialty pizzas that I highly recommend trying. I've dined here about 20 times, and each time, the positive story repeats itself...

19/01/2026: Emilio, the owner, was immediately available and friendly as soon as he saw us come in. He let us choose a table, and we took advantage of the opportunity to get one for six, but there were only two of us; it wasn't as crowded as the last time we came, so we were comfortable. Valentina, smiling and attentive, immediately offered us a taste of the IMPACCHIUSE potatoes, a local specialty. If I have to point out a flaw, I can only complain about the speed of service. I had a lamb tagliata on a red-hot griddle, which I had already had the first time; I remembered it as fantastic, and it once again confirmed Vernante's unique 450-day tradition of goodness. My other half had a Margherita with porcini mushrooms, exceptional; for us Neapolitans, it was a real surprise. They were great, friendly, and very fast. Our favorite place in Rende. In the summer, being outside will be even more pleasant. I forgot, they also offered us a Nutella donut 😋😋😋😋😋 at the end. 12/05/2026: Structure known for. Random on booking but a truly wonderful discovery. Large, well-maintained and well-organized structure, clean houses, bar, pool, restaurant, private beach, shuttle service, entertainment, helpful and friendly staff added extra value to our stay.

05/05/2026: Everything was excellent, from the food to the hospitality, to the cleanliness, to the spacious and well-appointed room. It's just a little far from the sea, about 350 meters, but you can reach it by train, on foot via the underpass, or by car. There's also a beautiful, well-equipped swimming pool. Recommended

30/05/2026: A historic building in the heart of the city center now a restaurant and pizzeria. We had an excellent saffron fusillone, creamed to perfection. A fillet carpaccio that melted in the mouth and paired perfectly with the sweetness of the Tropea onion. A tartare and a tagliata steak, both delicate and tender. Special mention for putting the egg on the side of the tartare so I could enjoy it plain. For dessert, a strawberry ice cream, to which the waiter kindly added berries. Impeccable and attentive service!

03/05/2026: A huge restaurant right in the city center, an entire two-story building, offering a variety of dining options. It has many elegant dining rooms, and the tables are large enough to accommodate very large groups. Precisely because it's a well-presented restaurant, we had high expectations. Honestly, as a pizzeria, it was a bit disappointing. The appetizer was meager, and the few small plates served a few at a time weren't enough for everyone, considering there were about fifteen of us. We had asked for mixed fried foods in central baking dishes, but we were served only a few small plates, and there were only fries with sausage and bacon. The portions were meager. So much so that we later mentioned it, and they kindly brought us more small plates of potatoes. The pizza arrived cold for some of us, some had already finished it, and some were still waiting for it. Personally, I didn't like it; it was a bit tough, and the white base was very sparse with toppings. The knives didn't cut well. Those who ordered the sandwiches, however, were happy; they were good. The waiters were friendly. Street parking was very difficult.

13/09/2025: Delicious pizza, light and crispy at the same time, nothing like those "rubbery" pizzas that they call "Neapolitan" and then rise in your stomach and you digest them the next afternoon!! The food is also good. Courtesy and kindness. If you're looking for a quiet place to eat, this is the right place.

15/06/2025: My boyfriend and I have been frequenting this restaurant often for a long time. The atmosphere is quiet, there are always few people and I don't mind, the owners are very kind and helpful. However, the overall experience did not fully satisfy us. Lately it has not been pleasant anymore. For a place setting with a paper placemat, €4 seems a bit excessive to me. The portions were rather small compared to the asking price, which at the end of the meal turned out to be quite high in relation to what we actually ate. Unfortunately, the quality-price ratio did not live up to expectations. A shame, because with a few more adjustments on the quantity and cost, the experience could have been decidedly better.
