This is why I gave it 5 stars.
A little expensive, except for the Margherita at €5.
The rest of the pizzas range from €8 to €14.
The only flaw is the extremely slow service.
There were about ten of us, and the pizzas took over an hour to be served.
A pizzeria like this should serve at least 100 pizzas a day, and I can't imagine what would happen if all the tables were occupied.

07/09/2025: The pizza was good, and the terrace was beautiful for outdoor dining. The staff was friendly and attentive to customer requests. My only complaint was that the place was packed, so service wasn't the fastest, but that's okay. It was understandable and didn't cause any inconvenience. They're great, and I highly recommend them.

04/04/2026: We came here on the recommendation of our landlord, and I have to say, it's fantastic! You can watch the food being prepared, and the steaks are grilled over the fireplace. Absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back. 🥩😋
21/03/2026: Historic restaurant and pizzeria. Anyone looking for a quiet, unhurried evening and excellent traditional pizza can't go wrong here. It's also recommended for lovers of grilled meats, cooked directly on the large fireplace in the main dining room.

16/03/2026: Exceptional pizza by the meter and a truly welcoming atmosphere in Taurianova. The staff at Metropolis is fantastic and makes you feel at home, making for a pleasant evening. The only thing I can say is that the prices are a bit high.

29/08/2025: Great experience at Franco’s Pizzeria — definitely one of the best pizza spots in Cosenza if you’re travelling from the North. We shared a maxi pizza for 5 people: perfectly crunchy base, with half topped with cherry tomatoes, prosciutto and rocket, and the other half with broccoli and sausage. The owner told us the dough rests for 48 hours, which explains the amazing texture and flavour. Roberto and his wife were very friendly, sharing not only details about the food but also great travel tips. A fantastic stop if you’re heading south towards Reggio Calabria — highly recommended!

13/03/2026: From Narni to Cittanova for work this evening for dinner, recommended and I must say really good the stockfish as you call it, appetizer, first course and second course based on stockfish in all sauces, excellent service thanks Marisa.
16/02/2026: Quality ingredients, excellent pizza and cuisine. Kudos to owner Marisa for her passion, dedication, and professionalism. I'll conclude with a shout-out to Francesco, the waiter, for his expertise and excellent cocktails. I recommend it to everyone.
