Nice evening. Very good pizza by the meter. Quick and courteous service. Average prices but excellent in relation to quality. Definitely recommended and will return.

Environment that left me amazed. I didn't think that in the lower part of the Villa that can be seen from the street there was such a large and well-kept room. I was told that there is also a nice terrace for the summer, in the middle of the garden. I will definitely go back to see it when time permits. Friendly staff and also fast. Rich menu. I got the pizza by the meter with 4 different flavors. Good dough, the only flaw is, perhaps, in my opinion, a little overcooked. Various and good fried appetizers, obviously frozen. There are also many desserts.

We went for dinner about 15 days ago, on a Saturday evening. I hadn't eaten Metropolis pizza for at least a year and I was so eager to eat that pizza that melts in your mouth like it was a cloud. We only ordered the pizza at 8.45pm and it arrived at the table at around 9.45pm. Consider that we only ordered the pizza without the appetizer and I can't wait an hour! It's sad to say, but I've always had a good time at this Pizzeria but this time they didn't make a great impression! I certainly recommend it for pizza but I don't recommend it if people like me have to wait that long to eat a pizza. He literally loses the desire, so if Metropolis still wants to work well, he will have to hire new, faster and more personal staff in the kitchen!

05/01/2024: Di passaggio a Villa San Giovanni ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante per cena. Ambiente molto carino e sobriamente elegante. Il signore che ci ha servito al tavolo è stato egregio per gentilezza e per come ha presentato i piatti e ci ha saputo consigliare. Ottima la pallina di riso offerta come entrée di benvenuto, altrettanto squisita la parmigiana di pesce presa per antipasto. Le polpette di pesce al sugo, invece, erano anche molto buone, ma peccato che fossero fredde (una svista che mi ha fatto togliere un pallino nella mia valutazione). Ottimi i calamaretti ripieni e il gelato artigianale alla vaniglia variegato all'arancia con "piparella". Anche il vino buonissimo. Prezzi onesti per la qualità offerta. Quando capiterà, ci torneremo volentieri.

23/09/2023: Scelta perfetta per un compleanno in Calabria! tavolo per due all' aperto, atmosfera familiare e calorosa, grazie anche al fantastico Signor Cameriere con il quale abbiamo parlato di Firenze, città in cui abitiamo, ed in cui anche lui ha lavorato! Servizio veloce e professionale. Antipasti tipici ottimi, frittura buonissima, pesce spada tra i più buoni mangiati e patatine fritte...quelle delle nonne tagliate "a modo" e fritte ad arte! Rapporto qualità / prezzo ottimo. Consigliatissimo.
02/09/2023: Food with typical flavors of the Calabrian tradition handed down by our grandmothers and mothers. The second best Assize Court of Jonica (after that of its inventor). Homemade pasta that lends itself to being seasoned with various types of sauces. I tried it with the ragù made with very soft and tasty pork meatballs.
