06/04/2025: I can't say the prices weren't written down. But we still stay in a pub on the outskirts of Reggio Calabria. We often have 350 euros and we were 4 adults and 4 children. We ate 3 pieces counted per person of meat, Danish and tbone paid 165 euros. 165. I don't want to be classist but I haven't paid that much for stuff like that not even in the center of Rome or Paris, certainly not Arangea

01/04/2025: Siamo arrivati dopo aver prenotato il giorno prima, ma ci hanno assegnato un tavolo a soli 5 cm di distanza da un altro, proprio in mezzo al passaggio. Tanto che, mentre mi sedevo, il cameriere mi ha chiesto di spostarmi per poter passare con le pizze sopra la mia testa. Ho chiesto di cambiare tavolo, ma la cameriera, in modo sgarbato e scortese, ci ha negato questa possibilità, quindi abbiamo deciso di andarcene. Per correttezza, lo abbiamo comunicato e, improvvisamente, è comparso un altro tavolo disponibile. Quando sono arrivate le pizze, ho subito notato che i salumi erano di scarsa qualità e la mia pizza era mezza carbonizzata. Ne ho mangiata solo metà, ormai rassegnata alla serata. Non ho detto nulla perché, quando ceno con qualcuno, mi aspetto di mangiare insieme, non di dover restituire la pizza e poi cenare da sola mentre le altre persone hanno già finito. Quella pizza, a mio avviso, non avrebbe nemmeno dovuto essere servita. Inoltre, la cameriera, oltre ad essere stata scortese, non si è mai avvicinata a chiedere se andasse tutto bene, come invece ha fatto con gli altri tavoli. Probabilmente, il mio piatto parlava da sé. Come se non bastasse, il giorno dopo siamo stati male di stomaco, conferma evidente che l'impasto non era ben lievitato come pensavamo. Inutile dire che non torneremo mai più.

07/10/2024: Although the food is very good, something quite serious happened, making me pay 54 euros for fried calamari, this is because we asked the waiter for ONE fried calamari (one portion) and to bring us two small plates so we could share it, there were 3 of us but only two of us wanted it. To which the waiter tells us “do you want a spirlunga? " miming a long dish with his hands, to which I simply thought it was the type of dish (given his gesture with his hands, and the fact that I hadn't read SPIRLUNGA on the menu) I replied yes, then discovered at the cash register that by spirlunga they meant from 3 portions of calamari upwards, up to 10 and that for us they had counted 3 portions at 18 each, therefore 54 euros. The serious fact is that this SPIRLUNGA is not MENTIONED in the menu and here is the misunderstanding that I had to PAY FOR

09/02/2025: honest place for a snack or a quick lunch with ready meals, chicken, focaccia by the slice and rotisserie. standard drinks, nothing beyond commercial. the place is quite large with the outside usable thanks to the canopy the products are normal, I didn't find anything special or particularly memorable. On the other hand, this is not the type of place to expect excellence friendly service, friendly owner.

15/01/2025: It is located on the seafront, the place is very simple and informal. The choice of pizzas is varied and for all tastes. The pizzas are large and typically Neapolitan with high edges, they are well stuffed. For dessert there is the famous Pizzo truffle. In addition to the pizza on the menu, there was an appetizer and various types of salads.

08/03/2025: The restaurant officially opens at 5.30 p.m. but you can only get something to eat from 7.30 p.m. Pizza is good but not the best. There are no caretakers as is often the case here in Calabria, just a bottle of wine... In fewer words, I would like to be better but it doesn't do it justice.
