17/08/2025: I returned to this place after a while and noticed a very positive change in management. The pizza, made with Neapolitan-style dough, was excellent. The desserts, both the almond tart and the tiramisu, were delicious. Very friendly staff. Recommended for a stop in Sila.

30/04/2025: Cucina veramente fantastica : Antipasti di pesce e calabresi squisiti, per quanto riguarda primi e secondi non ne parliamo veramente deliziosi. Luogo accogliente con camerieri gentili e sempre disposti a servire i clienti. Le pizze sono una magia vera e propria con ingredienti scelti e freschi. Pizzaiolo davvero simpatico, in particolare quando ci sono grandi ricevimenti divertente al suo Karaoke ! Consigliatissimo per tutti!

24/07/2025: The website says it's open all day. So, you get there and it's closed. When I asked why it says it's open, no one could give me a reason. That's just how it is, a bit of a rip-off. We went to another restaurant, and it was delicious.

30/08/2025: I spent a whole day at this establishment. €25 for an umbrella at the only beach in Bocale I (just travel a few kilometers and the cost is still €15 both at Pellaro and Bocale II). The beach is claustrophobic and poorly maintained (cigarette butts and plastic) already in the morning. The lifeguard is a bit lazy; he doesn't even go a few meters to show you the loungers and check they're clean (in fact, they weren't). Coin-operated shower in the toilet; perhaps a few fewer umbrellas for the sake of comfort wouldn't hurt. We also had lunch: Very nice terrace, good food except for the sauce. Prices higher than average. Very slow service for sandwiches and salads, and they also got one dish wrong despite giving us over 40 minutes' notice. It was a portion of pasta for a child, which was given twice to others who arrived later. Discount-store sauce. Salad served on a small plate (there are no bowls) and half of it flew to Lazzaro, and the blond waiter didn't flinch. Very crowded in the afternoon due to the DJ set, with a few sneaky side entrances taking up loungers but still consuming. Beautiful sea.

24/08/2025: The atmosphere is welcoming and the view out front is spectacular. The food is excellent, the crudités delicious.

03/08/2025: Bad experience. Despite having made a reservation for 12 people in the morning at 9:00 PM and agreeing to a €35.00 fixed menu per person, which included a LARGE appetizer and mixed fried fish, wine and soft drinks, we were served at 10:00 PM with a single appetizer per person and a paper basket of fried fish containing an average of 3 anchovies, 2 shrimp, and 4 squid rings, with a side salad and French fries. Unfortunately, they won't let me attach photos to better illustrate the small portions.

02/08/2025: A pizzeria restaurant just steps from the city center, featuring an air-conditioned dining room, a semi-open-air dining room, and an outdoor terrace. We made a reservation in early July on a warm evening. They offered us a table in the semi-open-air dining room, where there was no air conditioning. We asked for service, and they obliged. Otherwise, the pizza and fried food were good. The welcome and service could be improved, with little attention paid to guests.

16/08/2025: It’s one of the best adress in Tropea, the team is excellent, the most welcoming staff in the city of Tropea. The lasagna and homemade pizza are excellent, I strongly recommend you to go there if you are tourists they speak english, go there with your eyes closed. Coming from the 5 french girls who stopped by this evening <3 <3

08/08/2025: Excellent pizzas, spectacular Tropea onion arancini, parmigia as good as they know how to make in Emilia Romagna, precise and fast service with a smile. Highly recommended!!

16/06/2025: I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life. Maybe not as much as Italians and maybe less pizza than steaks, but I have a point of reference :) Most of it in recent years in Scalea. At Doppio Zero the dough is unrivaled in the whole area and one of the best I've ever eaten anywhere in Italy <3 <3 <3

26/08/2025: I'm giving the service two stars. It's unthinkable to sit down an hour later after booking for 9:10 PM and eat at midnight. If a restaurant is set up to feed 100 people, it can't seat 600. Besides, people who sat down after us ordered first. A bit disorganized due to the number of tables. During those hours of waiting, I couldn't help but count the people. I don't know if I'll ever go back. I wonder why you bother with these things to accommodate more people? It's a shame because the food is good; the pizza and sandwiches are excellent. The first time I went there, in the winter, the place was always full, but with much fewer people, that didn't happen.

24/08/2025: The smash burgers are good, but it's a shame about the really long wait on an August evening (well over two hours for a sandwich, beer, and fries). Located on the Longobardi seafront.

17/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't review the food since I haven't tried it, so I'll give it an average rating. Unfortunately, I can only rate the atmosphere, since I've been there, and the service, since I called to inquire about an aperitivo. Since the person who answered me was decidedly arrogant and annoyed by what he called stupid questions, despite the busy season, I don't think it's a valid excuse to respond angrily to potential customers. I left a negative review and was threatened. With this, I'm returning my review, so I'm truly evaluating something I've experienced. Have a good day.

10/08/2025: Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the older lady serving us, who was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Furthermore, every process—from ordering to payment—is incredibly slow and seems completely disorganized. The cleanliness of the pier also leaves much to be desired. Overall, it's not a place we'd happily return to.
