18/09/2025: Excellent restaurant overlooking the Sassi of Matera, exceptional products cooked with care, the cruschi peppers are fantastic, friendly staff, reasonable prices and inside there is an extraordinary peasant museum to visit.

18/09/2025: A place that promises but doesn't meet expectations, except for the excellent service with very kind and professional waiters. The menu is very limited, the appetizers are average but certainly not worth the price. For my first course, I had cavatelli with cardoncelli mushrooms and creamed potatoes, but they tasted only of burnt garlic. Even the orecchiette with sausage is a bit of a no-no...

13/09/2025: We called in the morning to ask if we could reserve a table for two for the evening, and were told there was no need for a reservation, even if we arrived at 11:00 PM. We arrived at 11:00 PM, and the restaurant was closed. Nothing more needs to be said.

27/09/2025: Unfortunately, I can't give less than one star. We ordered two pizzas and a sandwich. They arrived after almost three hours! They were inedible, to say the least! My companion's pizza, a tuna and onion pizza with fries, was a dry, unseasoned disc under an excessive amount of very cold fries that smelled of fried fish (obviously, changing the oil or using separate fryers would be too much work). My pizza, a diavola with mushrooms and fries, was truly inedible! The consistency was that of a dry toasted slice. The mozzarella, what little there was on the pizza, had the typical odor of a modified atmosphere, a mix between methane and bleach. It's the smell of mozzarella in a modified atmosphere at just over €5 a kilo. The mushrooms got lost along the way because there wasn't even a hint of them, the salami was of extremely poor quality, and the fries, in my case very few, were flavored with fish like my companion's. Sooner or later, you'll run into someone with a fish allergy. Ultimately, we waited three hours for a terrible meal. The sandwich was edible, although the bread was very dry and fell apart when bitten into. I don't usually write negative reviews because I think oversights can happen, but operating this way, with prices equal to those of other pizzerias that produce much better products, is completely unfair. Total €30.00. Never again!

14/06/2025: Posto accogliente facilmente accessibile per un pranzo saziante e pieno di varietà al livello di disponibilità dei piatti. Staff ugualmente caloroso e accogliente, creando un’esperienza indimenticabile al livello di qualità, sia per i piatti di mare che di terra. Vale la pena andarci.

30/05/2025: Ritornare è sempre piacevole, la splendida location e l'accoglienza gradevole regalano da subito una bella atmosfera. Abbiamo scelto di pranzare a base di pesce e con stupore abbiamo trovato dei ricci di mare ottimi. Il crudo profumato e di buona qualità ha deliziato il palato. Il primo piatto linguine ai ricci di mare meritava di più, eviterei il contenitore a forma di riccio. Buona la grigliata e la frittura, a parte il pesce spada su cui credo ci sia stato del succo di limone che se pur minimo ha tolto un po' il sapore. Il dessert un ottima conclusione. Consigliatissimo

Despite this the service was very friendly and did resupply bread as we wanted to use it for the remaining sauce from the delicious pasta! Thanks for that friendly experience!
