16/06/2026: I made a reservation for dinner for two. We sat outside and immediately ordered two pizzas, a Coke, and a small draft beer. To finish, a decaf and a tiramisu. Total cost: €28. Fast service, excellent food, and a very relaxed atmosphere.

02/05/2026: The hospitality and staff were amazing. We had the best pizza ever, so much so that we were curious and returned the next day for lunch. It was an excellent choice, as the first courses were also top-notch. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to visit.

We had a wonderful time, the welcome was very warm. We felt at home. The food was truly excellent, especially the burrata-filled ravioli topped with a delicate pesto sauce. Succulent and delicious meat, a triumph of flavors for the taste buds that were already feasting on the perfectly toasted bread drizzled with fragrant and delicate olive oil. Compliments to the chefs and the entire kitchen. Comfortable rooms and comfy beds. Clean and sufficient linens. Every request was met. And what about the breakfast? Excellent and plentiful, everything fresh and authentic.... Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for everything 🤗🤗🤗🤩🤩👍🏻👍🏻💖💖

20/06/2026: An evening to remember! I spent a wonderful evening with my biker friends, enjoying excellent food, laughter, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. The dinner was exceptional, with delicious horse meat cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, accompanied by authentic and generous dishes. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxing, ideal for those who want to spend a few hours in good company after a day on the bike. The staff was friendly and helpful, helping to make the experience even more enjoyable. The overnight stay was also very comfortable: comfortable, quiet rooms, perfect for recharging your batteries before heading out again. A place I recommend without hesitation to anyone who loves good food, authentic hospitality, and motorcycle travel. We'll definitely be back! 🏍️🍷🍽️😊

11/07/2026: Ristorante de Morgan is the place to be in Matera. The food is exquisite, the service excellent, really lovely proffesional people. And faith was that they were closed after our three day in a row visits. It was meant to be! Grazie mille!!!

26/04/2026: I visited this pizzeria with fairly high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways. The pizza was rubbery and unpleasant to eat, a sign of dough that likely wasn't well-worked or cooked properly. To make matters worse, the service: the owner was unfriendly and, to every question, responded in an annoyed manner, creating a less than welcoming atmosphere. I understand that there can be bad days, but when you work in front of the public, a little kindness really makes a difference. I hope they can improve both the quality of the pizza and the customer service.

04/05/2026: My husband, our two children, and I dined at this restaurant last night after a busy day spent walking among the Sassi of Matera. We were greeted by kind and attentive staff, with prompt service. The pizza was excellent, the fries were special, and the "sausage of the beggar" was delicious. My husband and I ordered it first, followed by a portion of Van Gogh bruschetta—exceptional! The owner, Bartolomeo, was exceptionally kind, making us feel at home and pampered. Before leaving, I confided in him about my passion for Vincent Van Gogh. He accompanied me into the dining room, which, surprisingly, was decorated with wonderful reproductions of Van Gogh's paintings. He proudly told me about them and showed me the wines, which bear artistic labels. What more can I say?! Between the deliciousness of the dishes, the beauty of the setting, and the owner's extraordinary kindness, it was an experience that left us with a wonderful feeling of well-being! If we ever return to Matera, we'll definitely eat here, with the pleasure of greeting Bartolomeo and savoring more of his delicacies!!!! Ps: fair prices and generous portions.

01/05/2026: I recently visited this restaurant and had a truly enjoyable experience. The pizza was excellent: light, well-leavened dough, and fresh, flavorful ingredients. You could really taste the quality, whether it was the simple Margherita or the more elaborate pizzas. Besides the food, what made the evening special was the staff. Everyone was very kind, helpful, and welcoming, always smiling and ready to offer advice without being intrusive.

23/04/2026: It was the only place open at night, yet we have been greeted politely by the owners, received excellent service to be seated in the room across the path. Any item we ordered was served pretty quickly and we didn't expect how good it was. Pizza was really delicious, think crust. Fresh ingredients, lovely mozzarella. 16/06/2026: A very appealing restaurant with excellent food. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant. Although it's located near a road, the traffic noise is barely noticeable. There's ample parking, the location is convenient, and the landscaping is lovely. As mentioned, the food was delicious. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. Overall, it's highly recommended. My only suggestion for improvement: there's no printed menu available on-site; it can only be accessed via the website, Google, or Google Maps. This means you have to access the menu on your mobile phone to view it. I've seen menus accessed via QR code before (which I personally don't find ideal either), but this was even more cumbersome. We found this less than ideal, especially since it also caused problems loading the page. Without a mobile phone, it would have been impossible to view the menu. Perhaps a chalkboard or a poster would be a good compromise, so that the menu isn't exclusively available through Google. Hence the one-star deduction. ... Otherwise, it's a really nice restaurant with very good food and wine. There's a great selection of dishes, so there's something for everyone.

23/05/2026: The food and service have improved significantly, as has the location. The pizza, meat, and other dishes are delicious. The service is fairly quick and the price/quality ratio is good. Highly recommended!
