28/09/2025: Recommended by a friend, I decided to try it, so on Thursday, September 25, my wife and I went there. It is located in a historic corner of the city of ACERENZA, behind the beautiful Duomo. We found a very comfortable and elegant environment, as well as clean and well-ordered. The welcome was very elegant, with extreme kindness and availability. Our choice was already oriented towards a good pizza. Browsing the menu, there was a wide choice from classics to homemade creations, as well as various appetizers. I don't want to go on too long, so I'll conclude by saying that I found a pizzeria that can be classified among the best, with top-notch taste. We also decided to try the restaurant, which already looks inviting from the photos. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, perhaps as a refreshment point after a nice walk in this historic village of ours, and especially after a visit to the cathedral, which is stunning. THANK YOU FOR THIS ADDED VALUE TO OUR LAND.

29/09/2025: We visited "La Panca 2.0 pizzeria" and were pleasantly surprised. We tried three pizzas, each with very interesting flavor combinations. The first pizza, with yellow datterino tomatoes, caciocavallo materano, and n'duja, offered a remarkable balance between sweetness and spiciness. The second, with yellow datterino tomatoes, capocollo, burrata, crusco peppers, and basil, also proved to be a rich and successful tasting experience. Finally, the third pizza, with Colonnata lardo, ricotta, walnuts, and honey, was a completely new experience that proved to be a surprising and harmonious combination. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for unconventional, high-quality pizzas. A lovely little place with great quality pizzas.

19/10/2025: Fantastic wooden fired pizzas undoubtedly in my lifetime top 3 ... the waitress is really professional, fast and pleasant and deserve all the credit running like crazy around tables while the so-called manager is hiding behind the wall at the till playing with his mobile instead to help her ?! Interesting pastas and pizzas creations and delicious homemade desserts. Atmosphere is a bit loud at times

11/10/2025: An exceptional hotel, meeting every possible need, with attention to detail. The room offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. Breakfast is varied, and you can enjoy delicious cakes. The owner and staff were extremely welcoming and kind. We thank the owner, Giuseppe, who put us in touch with local artist Professor Mario Sansone and Mr. Rocco De Rosa, with whom we immersed ourselves in a beautiful journey rich in history, legends, and artistic beauty that demonstrate the creativity and vitality of the place. The location is central for reaching nearby attractions.

15/10/2025: It's fantastic. It's mostly locals who order here, so the pizza is top-notch. I just hope the pizzeria's distance from local attractions doesn't turn it into a viral attraction for the Instagram crowd.

02/11/2025: Very good pizza, the dough is not among my favorites but abundant toppings well cooked very tasty, the comfortable room but in my opinion the spotlights are too strong and cold light given the place, a more relaxing light would be needed, the impeccable service, kindness and availability are top as are the prices four pizzas for three two beers and a bottle of water € 41 it also took 1 euro off us we had a great time the place is enchanting it really looks like a nativity scene we will be back Thank you!!

26/10/2025: During a day spent in Castelmezzano, my group and I found, by chance but fortunately, this small but well-kept pizzeria, which I highly recommend for three important reasons: cleanliness, friendliness, and good food.

30/10/2025: A very nice place, located close to the historic center of Matera, near the entrance to the pedestrian area; typical local architecture, tastefully decorated, clean, and quite spacious. The staff is welcoming and friendly, young and well-trained. They quickly seat you and introduce you to the house specialties. The menu features a variety of typical dishes from Matera, including pignata and pignatella. The wine list is good. The ingredients are good. The dishes, well-prepared and presented, in my opinion, the "more elaborate" ones lack a distinctive touch that would highlight their authenticity. The cheese selection is excellent, and the appetizers are good overall. I had the opportunity to try the pignatella; it's a dish that needs to be savored with patience 🌬️. I really liked the flavor. I would have liked a little more meat and even a few pieces of sausage in addition to the crumbled one, but it was still very good. I really enjoyed dipping the dough that serves as the lid for the pignata into the broth at the end. For dessert, we tried the "sporcamusso," which was also delicious: delicate puff pastry, a soft creamy filling with balanced flavors. The only flaw was that the pastry was quite warm, while the creamy filling was cold, even lukewarm. But at that hour, it was nice not to get your face dirty with boiling cream. The quality/price ratio was decent, within the limits of what the market offers, but overall, the place has room for improvement. I will return to try the Pignata. Overall, I recommend going, especially in the evening. Given the proximity to the historic center, after eating, a stroll along the main street of Matera by night was a pleasant experience.

14/10/2025: I came for lunch with a friend. Nice place, average atmosphere. Service was sterile and dull, both at the reception and at the table. The food was good, but nothing that particularly impressed me. The numerous positive reviews on Google created unrealistic expectations for the experience. I wouldn't return.

14/10/2025: The restaurant is a bit out of the way, so it's nice to eat outside. The food is well-presented and of good quality. The service is excellent, and they accept dogs!

02/11/2025: For the first time, I came to Pomarico, a stone's throw from Matera, for work, and on the recommendation of some acquaintances, I was directed to this restaurant. I couldn't have given better advice. The food is truly excellent. The veal tagliata is spectacular, with a side of country-style potatoes. Even though one of the house specialties is horse meat, whose cuts are processed in various ways, including the diaphragm, which is very difficult to find, both for veal and horse. The only flaw, if I may say so, but it's not so much a criticism as a recommendation, especially since I stand by the five-star rating, is the bottle of Primitivo di Manduria. It can't be served chilled; it's blasphemy. Otherwise, everything else was excellent. I hope to return. Highly recommended. See you next time.

31/10/2025: Excellent pizzeria. Friendly welcome for tourists. The menu is available online in four languages, including French, which is very helpful for deciding what to order. Pizzas are prepared right in front of you. Very good, made with fresh ingredients. The ingredients and flavors are exactly as advertised. The pork croquettes were pretty good too. The decor is a bit like a snack bar, but the food is amazing! We ate very well, and when you see homemade pizzas with good ingredients for under €10, you're not used to that in France! 😀

28/08/2025: Delicious pizza 😍 I love the one with creamy potatoes and sausage! Nice place... unfortunately, however, the last time I was there they made us sit outside. We ate and then asked for something else but they made it clear to us in a very unkind way that it wasn't possible as they had to seat other people waiting (a family)... they had probably booked but had forgotten.... We didn't like this behavior at all... in fact, we won't be back again! The only shame is that we liked the pizza... As for the rest, we will definitely find better elsewhere!

15/09/2025: Great value for money. The Frutti di Mare pizza and Frutti di Mare pasta were generously tossed. The food also came relatively quickly. I hope my tip goes to the friendly waiter, but I think the plate cleaner pocketed it himself. Overall, not the best tasting food, but great value for money.

14/09/2025: Great place. Came in by accident while passing by. The prices are more than affordable. Everything is sooo delicious.
