26/08/2024: We stayed one night in August to visit Stigliano. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the centre, very kind staff, nice and clean room. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, good food and honest prices, among other things also equipped for gluten-free cuisine. In short, a place to certainly recommend.

17/08/2024: This is a great hotel and restaurant. The host Giuseppe is very welcoming and helpful. The position is close to the town centre. We would definitely stay again if travelling through the area.

11/11/2024: After visiting the basilica and the diocesan museum and admiring the view as if suspended in time, we had an excellent lunch with Michele's kindness at the Ristorante al Duomo. Experience to be renewed

04/11/2024: If you want takeaway pizza, you've come to the right place. Everything is fast, the pizzas are really good and you can even buy a drink to go with it. There are also a few places to sit.

23/11/2024: The whim, a word, a certainty....the best place to eat I believe in Basilicata and also in the surrounding areas....let's start with an appetizer where each course will delight you and will leave you convinced, very convinced...the first courses are excellent, truly top quality in meat...wide choice of meat....(I recommend donkey size) as regards the healthy and clean environment....but still functional...congratulations to the owners and staff..keep it up

27/10/2024: Kindness and friendliness are there, the food is good but, in some cases, the price is not justifiable in relation to quantity, especially with regards to the cold cuts platters (3 cuts of cold cuts, at €12 each, which, put together , would form 1 platter elsewhere) and cheeses (2 platters, at €8 each, comparable to a single portion elsewhere). Kitchen and pizzeria travel separately and therefore there are those who eat and those who watch... We were 10 people, not 30, and unfortunately, on our third visit, I have to express my disappointment in this regard. I hope Rocco and the team can improve these gaps 💪

10/12/2024: Menu set on typical Matera dishes and with great difficulty it is possible to make variations. Good quality raw material. A little too long of a wait to order the dishes and between one dish and another, even if the staff made up for the shortcoming with friendliness and smiles which are always a pleasure. An anomaly on the menu is naming a chocolate cake with eggnog Tiramisu Extra (for a Treviso it's a sacrilege even if it was good)! Modern space on a mezzanine just outside the Sassi of Matera, clean and well looked after. The "bill" was a little more expensive than expected but affordable.

11/11/2024: Having arrived on Sunday, now after 2pm, they very kindly reserved a table for us in a refined, modern and welcoming place. There were three of us, we shared two starters and then each opted for a first course. The meal was accompanied by a glass of excellent Aglianico del Vulture. The quality of the food was high, the dishes were presented in an expertly elegant way. The selection of cheeses is excellent, the dishes halfway between modernity and tradition. The menu indicates foods that are not suitable for those who are intolerant or allergic. Correct value for money. Definitely recommended.

01/12/2024: Il locale, semplice ma accogliente, è arredato con gusto, creando un'atmosfera calda e familiare. Il personale è cortese e sempre disponibile, pronto a suggerire le migliori combinazioni di pizze e abbinamenti di bevande. Il menù è ampio e variegato. La pasta della pizza è sottile ma morbida, ben cotta e con un equilibrio perfetto tra croccantezza e morbidezza. La qualità degli ingredienti è evidente, con pomodoro fresco e mozzarella di bufala che si sciolgono delicatamente ad ogni morso.

17/10/2024: We were looking for somewhere to eat in Potenza late at night and came across this inconspicuous restaurant in the basement. We didn’t regret it at all. Never before have I eaten such delicious veal stewed in wine (Italian national dish) - simply the best thing I ate during these 2 weeks spent in Italy. My companion's pizza was good, but nothing special.
